Influence of temporomandibular dysfunction on head position

Dysfunction in the temporomandibular joint appears to varying extents, depending on the chosen criteria, in at least half of the world's population. Altered afferentation from the orofacial area (for example due to dysfunction in the temporomandibular joint) can, according to research, have an effect on the position of the head, cervical spine and postural stability. However, the issue of the influence of temporomandibular dysfunction on head position or postural stability is still not sufficiently explored and conflicting opinions appear in the literature. The aim of this thesis is to reveal the correlation between dysfunction in the temporomandibular region and changes in postural stability, head position and subjective visual vertical. In the theoretical part, the current knowledge of the influence of the temporomandibular region on the surrounding structures and body posture will be presented using research. The aim of the practical part will be to investigate to what extent and in what time modulated afferentation from the orofacial area will affect the posture, head position and possibly also the subjective perception of the vertical. Postcovid comlications and the role of pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory physiotherapy in alleviating them from nurse's point of view

Pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory physiotherapy techniques are an important element of therapy in patients with chronic respiratory disease. However, during the covid pandemic, it turned out that these methods could have positive effects in the treatment of the long-lasting post-covid symptoms. Therefore, this thesis briefly summarizes the persistent symptoms caused by the COVID-19, and further focuses primarily on the benefits of the pulmonary rehabilitation and the respiratory physiotherapy. It also focuses on the proper implementation of these techniques in intensive care units. Although nurses are most often in contact with patients in healthcare facilities, their knowledge and skills are often insufficient and awareness of this issue is often minimal. The aim of this master thesis is to summarize the techniques of the pulmonary rehabilitation and the respiratory physiotherapy, a description of the procedure and benefits of specific methods that can be performed with patients by nursing staff in addition to the work of physiotherapist. Business plan of selected business entity

This diploma thesis deals with business sphere and more specifically it is also about creating own business plan. The theoretical part begins with description of terms, which defines the business sphere as it is. Another important part of the theoretical part is the definition of methods which are used for data analysis in business sphere. It is also important to mention that this part continues with strategies and modern ways to deal with competition participating in the same business. The practical part starts where the theoretical part ended, which is applying those mentioned terms into a real use-case. Task of the practical part is to create own business plan for a driving school business. This business has a long history in region of Písek, but the re-do was needed to keep the business alive, which is exactly what this part is about. This part describes the history and the plans for the future by the new business plan. It also contains analysis of current data, the environment and also the legislatures. Economic data are provided as well and the part closes with discussion about business sustainability in the current market situation.

This Bachelor thesis External analysis of a selected company dealing with selling bathroom and kitchen fittings. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current position of the company by analyzing the external environment, using PEST, Porter's five forces model and SWOT analysis. The management of a company provides all the necessary data for the analyses. Other information is acquired from websites of the company and by investigating the external influences on the company. The theoretical part introduces the main theoretical processes specific for the external analysis. Practical steps of these analyses provide us with external strategic analysis in the company. On the basis of these facts the optimal strategy, which improves its position on the market, is suggested.

The European Union from the perspective of the residents of Trhove Sviny

This work is devided into two main parts: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part describes the development of the European integration, the formation of the European Union, institutions of the European Union, the integration of the Czech Republic into the European Union and projects in the town of Trhové Sviny, which were supported by the European Union. The practical part is based on the research, that is aimed to the comparison of the knowledge and opinions of the population in Trhové Sviny to the European Union and to the European integration. Open and closed questions are used in the questionnaire. The town of Trhové Sviny was chosen, because it is the small town located closed to the South Bohemian regional town called České Budějovice and this region is involved in European structures.
