Deformation, stress and safety analysis of the recumbend frame.
Verner, Jan ; Majer, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This work contains deformation, stress and safety analysis of recumbent bike frame from company AZUB. After introduction about history, definition of beam and beam assumptions, computational model of the frame was made fallowed the main solution. Three load states was checked - stillnes / uniform ride, deceleration and pedalling. The third one was subjected to deeper analysis. Bending problem in defined location was solved for all states. Inner stress resultans was solved as Von Misses stress, and the safet y was calculated. The fist state was compared with FEM. A program in MATLAB was made, enabeling calculation of user- selected frame geometry and loading.
Simple Gesture Recognition
Verner, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Potúček, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes usability of DTW algorithm and it's variants for simple hand gesture detection. It recapitulates actual situation and findings in branch of computer vision and aims on methods for hand gesture recognition and common description of DTW algorithm.
Software Development Processes Metrics
Verner, Jan ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The importance of processes is growing. Processes are integrated into many areas of human work, where they help to organize all activities. This thesis aims on statistical approach to process behavior analysis. There are mentioned the basic process management issues in the beginning of this thesis. The main focus is on the techniques used during process analysis. There are mentioned approaches that are used to easily and effectively assess process behavior using process behavior charts and how to deduce proper steps from the analysis results to improve the process. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to practical analysis of real process behavior data using implemented solution. The results show common usability of statistical methods and approaches to process analysis.

Development of help-desk ticket management system
Verner, Jan ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Sajal, Martin (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is to develop a new help-desk ticket management system for the Etnetera Company. The chosen platform is Java. A secondary objective is to test a suitability of using a rule engine system for this type of applications. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to business rule systems, which is followed by a part evaluating and presenting in a detail three such systems. The chosen system used for the implementation is JBoss Drools. A project environment, description of the current situation and reasons for the development of the new system are listed in the next part. The following chapter deals with the analysis of the requirements and the next-to-last chapter describes the design and implementation of the new system. The last chapter contains documentation. The main benefit of the work is a newly developed system that optimally supports the process of processing a request and other related processes at the Etnetera Company, thereby reducing the amount of unnecessary administrative work. Another benefit is a practical demonstration and deployment of business rule system for developing similar applications.
Convergence analysis of selected financial indicators for CR and EU
Verner, Jan ; Pánková, Václava (advisor) ; Čížek, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis deals with the nominal and real convergence for Czech Republic and the Euro zone. It also includes analysis of synchronization of economic development in Czech and European economies for identifying potential risks associated with introducing the euro in the CR. The thesis describes different types of convergence and the relevant indicators with their historical evolution and hypothesis about future trends. The empirical part of the paper analyzes some selected indicators using econometric VAR models and linear and non-linear models of conditional heteroskedasticity. A suitable model for the analyzed data is chosen which gives a comparison of development in the Czech Republic and the EU. Especially time series causality, the existence of cointegration and conditional variance processes are observed. In conclusion there's a summary of all theoretical and modelled outputs with the risk evaluation of joining the monetary union.
The module enabling the work in an interactive mode for plug-in BJ2NB in the NetBeans IDE
Verner, Jan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a module enabling the work in an interactive mode for plug-in BJ2NB, which aim is to augment the NetBeans IDE by including the learning tools known from BlueJ IDE. The module functionality specifications are based on a need analysis which was elaborated on the base of the current situations of IDEs supporting an interactive mode. The first part of the module design contains a use case diagram and descriptions. The next part describes how the module is designed. There are a package diagram, class diagrams and a description of used technologies including applied design patterns. The main work result is the module itself which is attached in appendix. The last part is module documentation.
