Pustka, Martin ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor) ; Vágner, Michal (referee)
Title: Systematic review of the influence of lower limbs and trunk strength on aerobic performance during loaded marching Goals: On the basis of a literature review, find out what is the relationship between the lower limbs and trunk strenght and between the aerobic performance during loaded marching. Alternatively, to determine the effect of the development of strength skills of the lower limbs and trunk on aerobic performance during loaded marching. Method: The presented study is processed in the form of a systematic search with correlation elements. The Web of Science database was selected to search for articles. The search was performed using a search script that had four parts. The last part of the search script generated 44 articles. These articles were then analyzed and studies were selected according to predetermined criteria. From the 44 generated studies, two were selected that met all criteria. Another six selected studies were then sought in an unsystematic way. Thus, a total of eight studies were included in the search. Conclusion: The results of the correlation coefficients between the lower limbs and trunk strenght and between the aerobic performance during load marching indicated in most cases a positive relationship, although the values were not completely significant. The increase...

Tesař, David ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Oláh, Vladan (referee)
Title: Dynamic forces and speed of the front kick and roundhouse kick in combat activities: Systemic review. Objective: The main goal of this study was to compare dynamic forces and velocity of the front kick and roundhouse kick in combat activities. Methods: This bachelor thesis was processed as a systematic review of literature and studies dealing with dynamic forces and kinematics of front kick and roundhouse kick. The methodological procedure of processing was chosen on the basis of the international recommendation PRISMA. For the initial selection of potential studies, a script was compiled and used to reduce them from search databases (Web of Science, SportDiscus, Proquest, PubMed). Selected studies had to meet predetermined methodological criteria, including experimental description, in order to classify and then compare the results of dynamic forces and kinematics of front kick and roundhouse kick. Results: Higher maximum forces, impact forces, angular velocities of the hip and knee in extension and hip in flexion were measured in a front kick, as well as a shorter impact time. The maximum velocity of the foot and knee were significantly higher for the roundhouse kick, which is related to the execution time, which is shorter for the roundhouse kick (to the target and without a physical...
The effect of various breathing variations on intra-thoracic pressure, bar kinematics and muscle activity in bench press exercise.
Blažek, Dušan ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Vágner, Michal (referee)
Title: The effect of breathing technique on intra-thoracic pressure, kinematics of barbell, and muscle activity during bench press exercise. Objectives: The main aim of this study is to determine relationship between breathing technique and bench press exercise. Furthermore, determine which breathing modification leads to overcoming highest resistance and how each individual breathing techniques (Valsalva maneuver (VM), Hold breath (HB), Lung packing (PAC), "reversed breathing" (REVB)) affects kinematics of barbell, and muscle activity, during different intensity (1 RM, 4RM, 8RM, 12RM). Methods: Experiment of cross-sectional character, with usage of our-calibrated sensor, for intrathoracic pressure measurements, 3D kinematics with passive markers and surface electromyography. For measuring anthropometric measurements was further used goniometer, digital scale, and measuring tape. Comparisons of the breathing techniques was done by analysis of covariance ANOVA, while particular parameters were compared by Pearson correlation. Results: Except of REVB technique, which indicated significantly lower load, there was no significant difference between techniques in lifted resistance. Similar effect was observed at results of intrathoracic pressure, where REVB technique showed significantly lower pressure,...

The effect of short tread intervals used in tactical maneuvers on the dynamic front kick forces
Hecl, Jiří ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Sovák, Libor (referee)
The name of the thesis The effect of short running intervals used in the tactical maneuver "peeling" on dynamic strength of a front kick. The aim of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to find out whether physical load in a tactical scenario of peeling backwards has a significant effect on dynamic indicators of a front kick performed while carrying equipment (boots, a ballistic gear 12 kg and an assault rifle) and carried load (backpack 15 kg). The methods used in the thesis: There is a method of cross-sectional study. We tested 10 soldiers' (26,9±4,2 y, 85,6±9 kg; 86,7 ± 8,81 kg,180±4,62 cm) dynamic strength of a front kick using triaxial force plate (Kistler 9281) while adding military equipment and physical activity. Dynamic indicators that were set for comparison: Peak force (N), Impulse (N.s), Impact force (N), the time to reach Peak Force (s), and kick time (s). Then, the average of the five kicks was calculated and determined as the resulting value. The reliability of all five kicks were verified using ICC - Intraclass correlation coefficient and its' confidential intervals. Shapiro - Wilk test was used to determine whether the data are normally distributed. The comparison of interventions was made using a pair t-test in case of normal distribution of data, or Wilcoxon pair test in case of...

Gintner, Marek ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor) ; Vágner, Michal (referee)
Title: Comparison of tests endurance of the annual examination of czech soldiers in physical training Goals: The main goal of this work is to compare the values of heart rates during the running test for 12 minutes and 300 metres swimming test. We are mostly interested in the results of subjects, who will accomplish the tests according to standards of the Czech army. Methods: Comparative pair study was realised, using student's pairing t-test, with 14 subjects students of Military physical education at Charles University. T-test was used on changes of the heart rate and energetic changes. Every volunteer, who participated in the testing, accomplished two physical tests: 3000 metres of running and 300 metres of swimming with a week-long distance between them. Heart rate changes were recorded during the tests. Results: It was denied that there were significant statistical differences between the two tests considering the measured heart rate in compared time. Key words: army, testing, heart rate, fitness measurement, swimming, running

Schönauer, Lukáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Vágner, Michal (referee)
Name of the thesis: Testing of motor performance of high school students in Kadaň and their relationship to physical activities Objectives of the thesis: The objective of the thesis is to analyze the level of basic motor performance of high school students in Kadaň and find out their relationship to physical activities Method: This thesis is processed in the form of empirical quantitative research. The research is realized in the type of environment where is possible to eliminate influences of external environment, that is in a gym. The research subject were students of two chosen high schools, both male and female. Of the total number of 232 students, 143 were female and 89 male aged 15-17. To find out the level of motor performance of the students the test battery UNIFITTEST (6-60) was used. To gather information about the relationship of students to physical activities and competitiveness, a short poll of eight items was made. These were focused on the gathering of basic anamnestic data like name and surname, date of birth, the name of the school they attend to and grade in physical education. Furthermore, it was important to find out if and how often the student takes part in physical activity in his or her free time. Specifically, these questions were divided into involvement of a student in a...

Maleček, Jan ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Šťastný, Petr (referee)
Title: Relationship between hip muscles and dynamics front kick while using ballistic vest and backpack. Objective: Determine the rate of the relationship among isokinetic strength of hip muscles during flexion and extension movement, external and internal rotation and the dynamics of the front kick while using the military personal protective equipment. The method: The master thesis corresponds with an empirically based study of observational type. The measured research sample consisted of students (n = 15) of Military Department attending full-time and combined form of study at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague. Dynamics of front kick were measured by dynamometric Kistler plates and evaluated through computer software BioWare. Isokinetic strength of hip muscles during flexion and extension movement, external and internal rotation was tested and rated by isokinetic dynamometer Humac Norm. The flexibility of selected muscles group was measured by a specialist in physiotherapist area. The Spearman rank correlation coefficient of the order (rs) was chosen for the final evaluation of the rate of relationship. The results: The strongest correlation relationship was between the external hip rotation muscles (at speed 90 řs-1 ) and the impact force on the...
