Tomková, Tereza ; Vaněk, Václav (advisor) ; Merhaut, Luboš (referee)
The bachelor's thesis attempts to comprehensively cover and characterize the life and work of the Czech writer, journalist and translator Antonín Štrauch (1831-1877). In particular, the author of this thesis will deal with the writer's only published prose work, the novel Pustý dům / The Deserted House (1856), and its editorial treatment. However, she will also take note of Štrauch's poetic work and will not leave aside his editorial activities, mainly associated with humoristic magazines (Rachejtle, Diblík, Humoristické listy). In mapping the writer's activities, she will also make use of available archival material related to the writer's regional activities in the Jičín region. Morfologická a molekulární charakterizace druhů rodu \kur{Ceratomyxa} (Myxozoa) u ryb z čeledi Clinidae z pobřeží jižní Afriky
TOMKOVÁ, Tereza
The subject of this master thesis is to morphologically and molecularly characterize Ceratomyxa species (Myxozoa) found in clinid fish from the tip of South Africa. Molecular characterisation of those species was done based on SSU rDNA and morphological structure of those parasites was examined. It was determined whether some of morphologically identical parasites represent in fact, different species. Phylogenetic relationships between different species in connection with their natural habitats were analysed and a correlation between population structure of Ceratomyxa species and their host species was discussed.
Detection of forage viruses by DAS-ELISA
TOMKOVÁ, Tereza
The subject of this bachelor thesis is screening of viruses on wild and cultivated forage crop growing in the Czech Republic. Two viruses Red clover vein mosaic virus (RCVMV; genus Carlavirus) and Clover yellow mosaic virus (ClYMV; genus Potexvirus) were screened using the DAS-ELISA. Three plants of Trifolium pratense (variety Amos, Blizard and Rezista) were found to be infected with RCVMV, while any plant infected by ClYMV was not identified.
