The beginnings and evolution of Czech hip hop in domestic music magazines

The diploma thesis analyses the beginnings of hip hop in the Czech Republic in the context of domestic music magazines. It aims to examine the media depiction of this cultural phenomenon in its entirety with an emphasis on the musical genre of rap. Through qualitative content analysis of text data, it observes specific periodicals in two time periods. The first of them was in the years 1989 to 1999, when the first attempts to transfer the originally American genre to the domestic environment began to appear in the country. The second analysed stage is limited to the years 2000 and 2002, in which two key albums were released, namely Repertoár by the group PSH and My 3 by Indy & Wich. The magazines Melodie, Rock & Pop, Report, Tripmag, Ultramix and Bbarák were used in the qualitative content analysis. The thesis examines the first printed mentions of Czech hip hop, but also focuses on reviews, interviews and other extensive journalistic genres, especially at a later stage. Qualitative content analysis of textual data is complemented by semi-structured interviews with leading music publicists, but also artists who have contributed to the establishment of rap in terms of Czech music. Respirační aktivita půdy ve smrkových monokulturách ve vztahu k melioračnímu vápnění

Forest soil liming is a controversial issue (in forestry). Respiration activity of soil is one of the indicators which represent changes in soil conditions after liming aplication. This thesis deals with the analysis of chosen soil characteristics with special attention to CO2 efflux and soil respiration. Data are collected by field measuring and from lab analyses of soil samples from H nad Ah layers. Results are compared with relevant literature and interpreted. Based on the analysis, it can be said that liming has stimulating as well as inhibiting influence on soil respiration. No prominent relationship between soil humidity and soil temperature on one side and CO2 efflux on the other side were found.

Charakteristika půdního prostředí vybraných souborů typů geobiocénů na vybraných lokalitách ŠLP Křtiny, ML

When determining the groups of geobiocene types (STG), it is necessary to factor in nature conditions, among others the quality of the soil. This thesis deals with the description of soil surroundings in an area determined by STG and it is part of a project dealing with forest regeneration in forest gap. The characteristic grounds in field description of topsoil and sampling of Ah layer. The samples were analysed in the lab and the resulting data are compared with relevant literature and interpreted. Based on the analysis, it can be said that two of the main STGs on the site have high acidity and fertile soils.
