Complex diagnostics of the family house

This master´s thesis deals with the issue of the building from a clay. It is focused on defects and rehabilitations of these constructions. The introductory parts concerns with probable defects especially of clay buildings, furthermore with causes of the creation of defects, its depictions and the relevance. In the following part the methods of rehabilitation not only of clay buildings are presented. In this part the rehabilitative methods of foundation, vertical and wood constructions, which create mainly the structural support of the buildings, are described. In the second part, the structural and technical research of the current structure with farm part – barn is executed. The part of research is creation of the drawing documentation, description of disposition and structural and constructional solution of building, structural calculation of a part of construction, assessment of actual state of structure and prospective plan of proceeding and rehabilitation.

The basic diagnostics of an existing building structure

This bachelor work deals with the issue of building from the unburnt clay and the trial methods, which are used during the diagnostic of constructions made from clay bricks. The introductory part concerns with the history of the unburnt clay and the development of the unburnt bricks. Subsequently the technology of production in the past and in the present is explained. The use of constructional methods relates to this technology. Furthermore the methods used during the diagnostic of clay constructions are described. In the second part the drawing documentation is created, the layout of the structure, the structural and constructional solution and the evaluation of the present state of the structure is described.

Multifamily Therapy in the Treatment of Eating Disorders

This paper gives the summary of the six-year operations of multi-family therapy programme in eating disorders at The Eating Disorders Centre at The Psychiatric Clinic, Prague. The research done has been the first experience with multi-family treatment of psychiatric patients in the Czech Republic. This therapy concept is often used abroad as a form of work with patients suffering from the diagnosis of eating disorders. It is a "first choice" method due to NICE Guideline(2004). The inspiration for the Prague team was the London Maudsley model. The main aims of the research were: 1/ to introduce this therapeutic approach into a complex treatment of patients suffering from eating disorders, optimize the functioning structure and programme and stabilize the therapeutic team and 2/ to evaluate the effectiveness of multi-family treatment and suggest the suitable metodology. Since 2004 twenty families which form the observed group have been involved in the project. The combination of qualitative and quantitative methodology was chosen during the primary stage of the research. High performance liquid chromatography is one of the most widespread separation analytical techniques. It is used in various medical, pharmaceutical and industrial laboratories. It uses different affinities of the substances in the analysed mixture to the mobile and stationary phases. Mass spectrometry is one of the instrumental techniques by which charged particles are separated in the gas phase based on the mass- to-charge ratio. Nowadays, great emphasis is placed on the fact that the individual analytical methods which are being developed are subsequently validated according to a guideline issued by national or international authorities. Validation is a process that verifies that a method is suitable for its intended use. Nursing care of patient with chronic pain from leg ulcer

The bachelor thesis deals with nursing care for patient with chronic leg ulcers. The number of patients with chronic leg ulcers is rising and the therapy is long term and costly. Everything is also complicated by pain. I found information for theoretical part in literature and professional magazines in National Medical Library. Also I gained information from internet resources. Another information was obtained from recommendation concerning about wound healing such as Czech Wound Treatment Society, Slovakian Wound Treatment Society, EWMA European Society and Czech Dermatological Society. In practical part I processed a case study and described a nursing process of patient with chronic leg ulcers and chronical pain. The practical part including health assessment according to Marjory Gorden's functional model of health. I obtained all information from interview with a patient, from available medical documentation and self-observation during treatment. Methods: Casuistry of patient with chronic leg ulcers and chronical pain, with health assessment according to Marjory Gorden's functional model of health.
