Prevalence and awareness of the harmful effects of alcohol use in pregnant women - clients of the Institute for Mother and Child in Prague. Abstract: Background: With the increasing trend of alcohol use in a population, but also increases the number of women who are dependent on alcohol in pregnancy. Since your problem but ashamed and fears of condemnation of the behavior of companies admit the problem and continued to try to hide it, and therefore it is not possible to quickly capture and begin to solve. Alcohol consumed during pregnancy the mother may hurt not only her but also her fetus. Since we do not know the exact amount that is 'safe' should be gynecologists recommended total abstinence. Quality of life comparison between pathological and professional gamblers: quantitative-qualitative probe

Barbora Janíková Title: Quality of life comparison between pathological and professional gamblers: quantitative- qualitative probe Abstract: The aim of my thesis was to find out what is the quality of life of pathological and professional players (players earning a gamble), and how different their average score in each area of life compared to the population norm. For mapping the quality of life assessment method was selected in a structured, standardized, sebeposuzovacím WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire and subsequent interview semistrukturovaným 2 people from each of the studied group. Data were processed by statistical methods in Microsoft Excel and recorded in tabular and graphical form. The results clearly show that the group of respondents pathological gamblers living in the areas of physical health and social relationships reduced quality of life due to the consequences that this brings addictive behavior. Group of professional players is found in all living areas at intervals of population standards, which means that they gamble causes no existential problem.
