Changes of arthritis difficulties in obese patients in relation to the changes of body weight and physical activity

The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to determine how arthritic difficulties will change in relation to changes in weight (reduction) and physical activity. The Bachelor Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part discusses the formation, diagnostics, risks, causes, medical complications and treatment of obesity. There is also a description of arthritis, where is mentioned how arthritis arises, how is manifested and diagnosed, what are the therapeutic possibilities. Different types of osteoarthritis are listed for an overwiev too. There is also introduced a chapter about physical activity and patient motivation, because proper personal motivation is one of the most important condition for reducing overweight or obesity. The practical part is focused on research arthritic difficulties before and after the change of body weight and physical activity. To evaluate changes in the persons, quantitative research using a questionnaire was chosen. Key words: Obesity, overweight, physical activity, osteoarthritis, arthritic difficulties, risk factors.

Mario Vargas Llosa: The feast of the goat - fiction vs. historical facts

(in English): The Bachelor's Thesis examines Mario Vargas Llosa's novel, The Feast of The Goat. It analyzes the novel from a historical point of view. First part pays attention to the history of Dominican Republic, it focuses on the period of dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo, especially on its last years. It examines his politics, cult of his personality and mark that he left in dominican history. The second part compares historical reality with literary presentation by Mario Vargas Llosa. It examines how much the author remains trutful to the historical facts and shows, where he helps himself out with fiction. Further on it analyzes particular characters and clarifies why are they significant to characterize Trujillo and his regime. The final chapter upholds the novel as a historical source, although is is a historical novel.

Feng Zikai's paintings to protect life (volume 1-2)

Buddhistické obrázky ze Souboru Husheng tvoří významnou skupinu Feng Zikaiových obrázků manhua. Obrázky První a Druhé sbírky současně představují reprezentativní soubor Feng Zikaiových vrcholných manhua. Obě sbírky lze vnímat jako celek, který nabízí překvapivě široké spektrum pojetí nábožensko-filosofického ideálu nezabíjení a ochrany všeho živého. Dílo pojímá buddhistický ideál nezabíjení z různých pohledů. Myšlenkovým základem je buddhistické přikázání nezabíjení zdůvodněné vnímáním jednoty individua a veškerých živých bytostí, které vychází z teze o neustálém koloběhu převtělování. Poselství obou sbírek bylo též výrazně ovlivněno praxí mahájánového buddhismu, který současně výslovně formuluje požadavek ochrany živých bytostí, jejich osvobozování, zdůrazňuje nutnost příklonu k vegetariánské stravě a zároveň vyzývá k aktivnímu šíření těchto postojů. Výrazně buddhistický postoj je patrnější v První sbírce. Tuto sbírku Feng Zikai připravoval krátce po své konverzi k buddhismu a při práci úzce spolupracoval se svým celoživotním učitelem, buddhistickým mnichem, Mistrem Hongyim. Tyto dvě skutečnosti určovaly směřování celé První sbírky. Ve srovnání s Druhou sbírkou je První sbírka svým vyzněním apelativnější, obsahuje řadu obrázků a textů, jejichž působivost je založena na šokujících přirovnáních, která svědčí...

Diplomová práce definuje základní pojmy trhu rezidenčních nemovitostí, popisuje jednotlivé fáze developerského projektu a podrobněji se věnuje procesu schvalování a povolování staveb. Popisuje aktuální situaci na trhu rezidenčních nemovitostí a zachycuje určitý vývoj na tomto trhu za posledních 18let.Představuje developerskou společnost Ekospol a zabývá se realizovaným developerským projektem Boloňská.
