Arch bridge across the expressway

The objective of this theses is arch bridge design over the expressway. Bridge is consist of bridge deck, which has three pillars and composite arc. The Bridge deck is on the edges fixed into the foundations and in the middle adherent on overhead cables. The bridge is carried by combination of strands and aerial cables mounted on reinforced concrete arch. Overhead cables are slant due to the transverse direction of the bridge in the longitudinal direction is in the direction of the arc. Model of the construction was made in a calculated program SCIA ENGINEER 2011. The designe is in accordance with applicable standards.

Prestressed bridge No. 207 over the expressway R2 in Slovakia

In the diploma thesis “ Prestressed bridge No. 207 over the expressway R2 in Slovakia” three variants of solution of bridging are developed. The aim of diploma thesis is evaluation of the proposed options and implementation of detailed design of the supporting structure selected variant. The thesis includes consideration of state of construction. Option chamber bridge with inclined walls on three fields were chosen for detailed static analysis. This post-tensioned structure is assessed in accordance with applicable European standards. The analysis of the construction is performed by Scia Engineer 2013 software system. In addition, the ceiling structure is assessed for pushing through. Drawing and visualization is a part of diploma thesis.

Prestressed box girder bridge

The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of a load–bearing structure, whitch is situated in the extravillain between the town of Chomutov and the village Křimov. Main purpose of this structure is to pass a roadway I/7 across the valley. There are three options of design and one of them – the prestressed box girder bridge with slanted walls is chosen for more detailed elaboration. The major load–bearing structure is five–span with lenghts 46.50 + 58.00 + 58.00 + 58.00 + 46.50 m, made of post–tensioned nad cast–in–place concrete. The total lenght of load–bearing structure is 269.00 m and the width of load–bearing structure is 13.50 m, the bridge is straight in plan. The structure is analyzed by several computational models, which are designed in Scia Engineer 20.0 software. The structure is analysed in longitudinal and cross directions. The assessments of load state limit and usability limit state are made according to valid standards. This thesis also included time dependent analysis (TDA), that takes construction stage analysis into account.

Analysis of communication of alcohol producers on social media

The diploma thesis "Analysis of communication of alcohol producers on social media" deals with marketing communication of alcohol producers on social media. Examines the period from 1/1/2020 to 12/31/2021. The thesis aims to map the marketing communication of alcohol producers on social media in depth, and at the same time to create a sufficiently broad context in which the results can be presented. The topic of alcohol marketing on social media is currently important because it can contribute to the formation of alcohol habits or create obstacles for alcohol consumers who are trying to reduce their consumption. The first part of the thesis establishes the theoretical basis of marketing on social media and legal regulations on alcohol advertisements. The second part of the thesis contains mixed research, which includes both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results of each method are first interpreted separately and then the results of both researches are combined in the conclusion and presented together.

Fractal explorer is a program which enables user to explore Mandelbrot set and several other types of fractals and offers real time zooming in and out of the selected area. Program automaticaly increases the number of iterations it uses for computations to prevent detail loss with higher magnifications. Fractal explorer has several color schemes to color the calculated image. The colored image can be altered by several simple graphical filters. Resulting image can be saved to hard drive in PNG, BMP or JPG formats. Another function of the program is an ability to render current image to hard drive in specified resolution, the rendered image is antialiased to increase the visual quality.

Radio Maryja and Polish National Catholicism as an Important Factor on the Polish Political Scene

Diploma thesis "Radio Maryja and Polish national catholicism as an important factor on the Polish political scene" researches catholic Radio Maryja and its influence on the Polish political scene. The introduction is based on the theory, which describes the influence of media and how is this influence used in political marketing. The paper tries to describe Polish medial scene and define the role of the catholic radio in it. Thesis describes publishing house of the father director Tadeusz Rydzyk and analyses the listeners and also the broadcasting of the radio. Based on study of the Polish cleavages and the electorate of political parties the thesis characterizes the parties, which opinions are the closest to the radio. The pivotal part of the thesis researches concrete political influence of the radio mainly during the presidential - 4 - elections in 1995 and 2005 and during the elections to Sejm in 1997, 2001, 2005 and 2007. It tries to show the concrete examples of the media manipulation and analyse the influence of the station. Except the relation to the politics it also describes the relation to the church.
