Regime of a Diabetic Patient during Hospitalization in the Surgical Ward at IKEM
Slavíková, Petra ; Bakusová, Tereza (advisor) ; Komínek, Tomáš (referee)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on research during the hospitalization of three type II. diabetics at the Transplantation Surgery Clinic at IKEM. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the anatomy, history of diabetes, diagnosis, possible complications of diabetes, potential therapy, education of diabetics, and nursing care for diabetics. The practical part focuses on independent research of the regime by monitoring the diabetics for two days during their hospitalization. The aim of the thesis is to focus on the precise course of hospitalization for diabetics. The aim is not to control the correct course, but rather to examine the regime that is provided to diabetics on the surgical ward at IKEM. The thesis evaluates the regularity and amount of food intake, blood glucose measurements, insulin administration, and adherence to dietary measures. The thesis describes the individual nutrition of the selected diabetics, with precisely measured blood glucose values and the amount of insulin administered. It also includes final questioning of the patients on specific questions closely related to the regime. The goal of the interview was to identify potential complications that patients suffer from. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, blood glucose, IKEM, nursing care
Contemporary Dance and Ballroom Dance: Different Dance Environments from the Point View of Dancers and Audience
Slavíková, Petra ; Stavělová, Daniela (advisor) ; Halbich, Marek (referee)
The thesis examines the phenomenon of nonverbal communication via dance from the perspective of anthropology of dance. The objective of the thesis is to analyze the dance environment of contemporary and ballroom dance, based on the point of view of the dancers as well as of the audience. I determine the differences in the ways these forms of dance communicate through dance performances. I examine how dance functions as a means of language, on which level the communication is processing and what meanings and messages the audience decodes within the dance performance. The phenomenon of dance in its natural environment is studied semiotically, as a form of language in certain context. The fieldwork method is based on participant observation and semistructured interviews with both dancers and audience. The research was conducted in the studio of Nová scéna - Lidé v pohybu in Prague, which teaches contemporary dance, and in the dance club Akcent Dobruška, which focuses on ballroom dance. Keywords: Anthropology of Dance, Nonverbal Communication, Contemporary Dance, Ballroom Dance, Semiology, Performance, Audience, Meaning.
Re-analysis of suspected patients with FAP disease (Familial adenomatous polyposis)
Slavíková, Petra ; Urbanová, Markéta (advisor) ; Václavíková, Radka (referee)
Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) is a condition caused by germline mutations in tumor suppressor gene APC, inherited in autosomal dominant manner. Patients with FAP develop hundreds to thousands of adenomatous colorectal polyps with extremely high risk of malignant reversal into adenocarcinoma of colon and/or rectum. The aim of this thesis is to re-analyze a cohort of highly suspected FAP probands from years 1993-2004 whose diagnosis previously failed to be confirmed by at that time commonly used methods of molecular diagnostics. Next generation sequencing on MiSeq and NextSeq platforms (Illumina®) was performed on 78 samples of probands' DNA, isolated from peripheral blood, using gene panel CZECANCA version 1.2 (Czech Cancer Panel for Clinical Application). The panel enables sequencing of exons and exon-intron junctions of 226 genes linked to hereditary cancer predispositions, newly also including the diagnostically important promoter 1B region of APC. Pathogenic variant in the APC gene was detected in 18 % of re-analyzed probands, 11 % of probands carry pathogenic variants in other genes associated with colorectal polyps. Additional 13 % of probands are carriers of a variants of unknown clinical significance. NGS gene panel CZECANCA enabled diagnosis confirmation or re-evaluation of 22 FAP...
Children's Musical Creativity in the Context of Pedagogical Creativity
Slavíková, Petra
The dissertation entitled Children's Musical Creativity in the Context of Pedagogical Creativity focuses on formal pre-primary music education. A part of this education is the development of children's musical creativity influenced by their teachers. Therefore, this research problem is viewed from a dual perspective; one of pre-school children and the other of pre-primary educators. A theoretical part of this thesis describes children's musical creativity in the music education context o in terms of historical, international, and national development. Similarly, this thesis deals with the research context and presents constructed tests of children's musical creativity. Subsequently, the terms of musical creativity, children's musical creativity, and pedagogical creativity are defined. The children's musical creativity is viewed from the perspective of internal and external influencing factors. Finally, the role of the pre-primary pedagogue and their creative pedagogical work in the development of children's musical creativity is characterized in more detail. A practical part of this thesis contains a description of a research project. The first part of the research is devoted to musically creative experimental teaching of pre-school children, which also includes musical creativity testing, musical...

Kučerová, Blanka ; Váňová, Hana (advisor) ; Slavíková, Petra (referee)
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem hudební tvořivosti žáků pěveckého kroužku prvního stupně ZŠ. Věnuje se nejprve problematice obecné tvořivosti a jejímu významu a důležitosti pro život člověka. Dále podrobněji specifikuje téma tvořivého myšlení, od něhož odvozuje termín hudebně tvořivého myšlení. Neopomíjí nepostradatelnou roli učitele hudební výchovy, navrhuje systematický metodický postup a nabízí rovněž několik konkrétních typů cvičení vhodných k rozvoji hudební tvořivosti žáků.
