Improvement Proposals for Long Term Asset Management of a Company

This thesis solves issues of management with long term material property in the company H&P plast, limited liability Company, which is engaged in the manufacturing plastic products and forms. The first part of thesis contains theoretical basis and total analysis of the company. It is focused on long term material property, its care and maintenance. On the basis of analysis weaknesses are identified in the company. In the second part of thesis solutions are suggested, which is lead to improvement and optimization current situation. Finally proposals are evaluated in economic terms.

It points to difference between these states and it describes main diference, domestic reverse charge. Thesis contains the comparison of these states and practical examples in the provision of services and building operations in sphere of construction and the associated pay of value added tax and the general evaluation domestic reverse charge.

The impact of a herniated disc on spinal movements in the sagittal plane

This research thesis with one case study focuses on the impact of a herniated disc on spinal movements in the sagittal plane. The theoretical section describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the intervertebral disc, spinal kinesiology with an emphasis on analysing movements in the sagittal plane. Furthermore, it presents insights into the influence of an intervertebral disc herniation on spinal movements and examines the correlation between posture and disc herniation. The aim of the research paper is to summarize the existing knowledge, particularly regarding the effect of a disc herniation on spinal movements in the sagittal plane. In the practical part, a case study of a single subject with a lumbar herniated disc is presented. This subject underwent two examinations with a six-week interval, aiming to evaluate the impact of improved trunk stability using the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) method on spinal parameters and their development in the sagittal plane. Objective evaluation methods include the Thomayer test, Schober's test, Stibor's test, selected functional tests according to DNS, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire, and Visual Analog Scale (VAS) for pain assessment. Physical activities for children with autism spectrum disorder at special primary schools in the Liberec region

Title: Physical activities for children with Autism Spectre Disorder at primary schools in the Liberec region. Objectives: This work aims to compare the provision of physical activities for children with ASD at three special education schools. Within the scope of the research, the following areas were analysed: the number of clients, clients' age, a spectrum of physical activities, the program of schools for children with ASD targeted on their physical progress, the number of employees managing physical activities, and their professions. Methods: In the empirical part, two types of research method were used to analyse the approaches of pedagogues to physical activities for children with ASD at special education primary schools in the Liberec region. The first part of the research was conducted via a survey filled out by pedagogue employees. By running semi-structured interviews with three headmistresses of special primary education schools, the second part of the research enabled a deeper qualitative analysis of physical training activities for children with ASD. Interviews were recorded in a redacted version. The main task of the author of the diploma thesis is to create dynamic sitting used for public space. Dynamic of the sitting is achieved by the posibility of changing positions during the sitting by shaping seating part. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the main requirements for furniture used in public space, evolution and problematic of dynamic sitting. The practical part is focused on design, which consists of research and design studies in the form of shetches and 3D visualizations. Model in 1:1 scale formed on the basis of design and constructional solutions is the result of the own part of the thesis.

The work deals with the reconstruction of existing bathroom and interior design, layout and visual bathroom solutions to suit current conditions required on the area of hygiene and specific user requirements. The theoretical part summarizes the basic requirements for hygiene zone and knowledge of the historical development of the bathrooms. In following chapters are presented materials and furnishings elements from sanitary equipment to accessories used in bathroom area. Part of this work is application obtained informatios in practice in the form of bathroom renovation. The reconstruction project includes analysis equipment, floor and artistic interior design, visualizations and estimated price calculation of reconstruction. The design is made according to the requirements for a particular client.

The aspects of laboratory diagnostics of neonatal jaundice, the comparison of two laboratory methods and POCT method of determination of bilirubin.

The topic of my Bachelor Thesis was laboratory diagnostics of newborn jaundice. It consists in determining full blood or plasma bilirubin concentration. I assessed the cross-correlation and the possible interchangeability of two laboratory methods based on different principles of determination, in different types of biological material, by means of statistical evaluation of lab results. I treated the topic of bilirubin determination in newborns from a complex perspective, and I included a comparison of POCT bilirubin level measurements with lab-determined blood bilirubin concentrations in the assessment. The theoretical part contains general facts about types of icterus and about bilirubin metabolism in the organism. It also contains information pertaining of newborns jaundice as such. I have described the causes, the health risks for the newborn implied by their hyperbilirubinemia, and I have also specified the possible therapy. I have collected the backgrounds for the assessment of the methods of bilirubin determination experimentally. The population consisted of normal term and pre-term babies, 37 of whom were treated with phototherapy during the experiment. I determined the bilirubin concentration in a full blood sample by means of direct photometry on a Cobas b221 analyzer. I centrifuged the remaining material in the collecton tube, and I determined the bilirubin concentration in the separated plasma by chemical azo coupling method on the Integra 400 plus analyzer. The POCT measurements were carried out by the pediatric nurses on the department before every blood sampling. They were non-invasive bilirubin measurements in newborns by means of the transcutaneous bilirubinometer JM-103 Konica Minolta Hill-Room Air-Shields. In order to assess the correlation of results, I used the linear regression (Passing-Bablok) statistical method, and the difference chart (Bland-Altman) method. The statistical evaluation implies that the lab methods show very good mutual correlation, which can be expressed with a correlation coefficient of r = 1,025 and a mean difference of -1,41 umol/l. I used direct photometry method as a comparison method to assess the bilirubin measurements done by the POCT method. While the correlation coefficient reached the value 0,803, the average difference between both methods amounted to -45,6 umol/l. This data clearly shows that newborn bilirubin levels measured by transcutaneous bilirubinometer are lower compared to the bilirubin concentration determined by the lab method. Many studies imply that bilirubin measurements in the POCT mode using transcutaneous bilirubinometer often yield rather underestimated results. Measurement results from the discrimination range must be re-checked in the lab. Transcutaneous measurement of newborn bilirubin is a reliable screening method eliminating the numerous blood takings in newborns. Making transcutaneous measurements during phototherapy conditions is not generally recommended, which was confirmed by my experimental results. The only way of how to monitor the effect of this therapy while the therapy is going on, is by means of lab determination of bilirubin concentration. The results of my study imply that full blood bilirubin concentration determination by direct photometry method in newborns correlates excellently with the plasma determination by the chemical method. This method is fully capable to be used as a substitute for the chemical method. I prefer full-blood determination method. The examination requires only a small quantity of the sample, the sample does not require separation before analysis, the result is available quickly, and analyzer operation and maintenance are simple. Analyzers of this type, equipped with modules for direct bilirubin measurement in newborns are often used as POCT instruments near the patient?s bed.

The effect of tick saliva on the interactions between \kur{Borrelia afzelii} spirochetes and murine dendritic cells.

Interaction between mouse dendritic cells (DCs) and Borrelia afzelii spichochetes was studied on three different levels: phagocytosis of borrelia by DCs, production of cytokines by borrelia-activated DCs and the ablilty of DCs to activate CD4+ T cells. The effect of Ixodes ricinus saliva on each of these levels was examined. Tick saliva was shown to decrease the number of phagocosing DCs. The ability of borrelia-activated DCs to induce both proliferation and IL-2 production in specific CD4+ T cells was significantly reduced by tick saliva. And surprisingly, we have shown an inhibitory effect of I. ricinus saliva on the production of both Th1 (IL-6 and TNF-{$\alpha$}) and Th2 (IL-10) cytokines. Our data reveal a complex inhibitory effect of tick saliva on DC function.
