Text data clustering algorithms
Sedláček, Josef ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with text mining. It describes the theory of text document clustering as well as algorithms used for clustering. This theory serves as a basis for developing an application for clustering text data. The application is developed in Java programming language and contains three methods used for clustering. The user can choose which method will be used for clustering the collection of documents. The implemented methods are K medoids, BiSec K medoids, and SOM (self-organization maps). The application also includes a validation set, which was specially created for the diploma thesis and it is used for testing the algorithms. Finally, the algorithms are compared according to obtained results.
Tunable ARC frequency filter
Kufa, Martin ; Murina, Milan (referee) ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with ARC frequency tunable filters. The introductory chapter generally focuses on the basic terms of the frequency filters, such as the mathematical expression of the transfer function, types of selective filters, tolerant field, etc. The next section describes the actual higher-order ARC filters and cascade sequencing, especially ARC band reject and possibilities of its implementation. Following is a concrete realization of the ARC filter to band reject with suggestions for tuning the frequency components in the frequency range 10 kHz to 100 kHz and retuning quality factor. Finally, this work contains the printed circuit board (PCB) design of the ARC frequency analog and digital filter section for tuning F0 frequency and quality factor Q setting using digital potentiometers. Furthermore, it also outlines the flowchart of the program for digital control.

Determination of the Value of Easements for Construction on Land Owned by Another Individual and Crossing or Passage across Another Owner's Land
Kuhrová, Kristýna ; Šmahel, Milan (referee) ; Sedláček, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is aimed on course of the easements in perspective of a forencis engineer. First chapter specifies the legal regulation of the easements, its division, the causes of its constitution, modification and termination. General description of easements’ assessment methodology ensued, the definition of the particular types of prices and values and purposes of evaluation of the easements alike. In the proposal part is the theoretical analysis used on two actual cases of easements, specifically the right to crossing another owner's land and the right of construction on land owned by another individual.
Synthesis of Modern Structures of Frequency Filters
Friedl, Martin ; Hájek, Karel (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor)
Within modern frequency structures, the filter frequency region of up to 10 MHz constitutes a promising research topic that currently attracts intensive attention of specialists interested in the problem. The main reason of this fact consists in that the rapid development of modern technology allows the production of innovated structures of the analog frequency filters required in the defined band. In this context, however, it is also necessary to refine the methods applied in the synthesis and optimization of these structures; such improvement should be carried out with respect to fundamental properties and usability of today's active elements (operational amplifiers with voltage feedback whose Gain Bandwidth Product ranges within units of GHz, operational amplifiers with current feedback, conveyors, transimpedance operational amplifiers). In this thesis, active blocks of synthesis inductors (SIs) and frequency dependent negative resistors (FDNRs) are examined in detail, and the author provides novel formulas to define the basic parameters of the dual circuits. Due emphasis was placed on optimizing the basic building blocks of the second order and defining the variation of their properties caused by the addition of modern active elements. The blocks were analyzed and modified in view of their possible use in higher-order circuits. For active filters of a higher order, simulations were performed to indicate the actual sensitivity of the cascade and non-cascade ARC structures. The following phase of the research comprised mainly the designing of several filters, and this activity was further completed with the verification of the methodology for the synthesis and optimization of higher-order loss ladder filters with modern active blocks. Special attention was paid also to the methods enabling the optimization of such filters, which are invariably based on RLC prototypes. In order to verify the theoretical conclusions, the author materialized a large number of sample optimized filters and measured their parameters. The closing section of the thesis describes the use of the filters in specific applications.
In an Apartment in a small town, Mikulov
Nekolná, Alena ; Sedláček, Jan (referee) ; Hora, Jan (advisor)
The city's center is being exhausted at the expense of tourists and their earnings in Mikulov. More than residential houses build guest houses and other accommodation, classical housing is then set aside on the housing estate. Gradually, this phenomenon is signed on the quality of the city as a whole. It is also associated with gentrification, which is not always negative in the beginning, rather the opposite, but over time it can destroy the value of space. The oncept that my proposal is directed to is called Bilateral. It stems from the complexity of the non-orthogonal parcel, which is so characteristic of Mikulov. Just opening up the two streets leads to linking these two different places. Do not stack matter on one side of the street line, but use both as a functionally connected whole. Matter that does not turn back. An important motive is to fill a street break. Single-story building is out of scale. Follow the street line, lead it as a communication with the surroundings. Surroundings are also subject to a scale that divides the massive mass in the neighborhood of Comenius Street. Part of the mass descends to the lower street, the higher the mass prepares, the lower the gesture of the receding wall involved in the events. There is a street interior dedicated to a bakery and an open kitchen belonging to the restaurant with access from Husova Street. The restaurant is a bile hall accessible to all. The patio in the middle of the disposition connects the inhabitants and creates a community.
To Dvur Kralove by train - Transfer Terminal in Dvur Kralove nad Labem
Černá, Tereza ; Sedláček, Jan (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
During the design process, I used the approaches of individual transport and pedestrian facilities to the plot. When analyzing pedestrian access, it became clear that the parcel can be taken from almost all directions, so the orientation of the terminal is not clearly predetermined. In connection with a diverse surrounding area that at present does not offer any attractive surrounding scene, I decided to turn the orientation towards the center to create a yard that will link individual transport sites, allow access from all corners of the parcel, and create a central area for visitors of terminal.
