The church of st. Bartolomeus in Pilsen

The thesis wants to explain a building historical evolution of church St. Bartolomeus in Pilsen. The topic is defined from the beginning to construction works to 16th century. The systematics of topic contains a historical evolution of the area from 9th century to be beginning from a Old Pzenec (Starý Plzenec) with a hilfort of the same name. Next the text narrates about a foundation of a town New Pilsen (Nová Plzeň), which is bound with a history of castle Radyně from time of the emperor Karel IV. History and conception of the church are explored by a architecture aspect. The topic is closed by a Šternberk's chapel, which was founded at the turn 15th and 16th century's and which was a last Gothic action this building. The construction periods are compared between them with a respect to style specifics from the foundation to 16th century. This work notes of a architecture overall also of architectural details and these wants to place this building into a context of the contemporary architecture.
The origins of the sacral center in Stara Boleslav in the early 10th century

This bachelor thesis, "The Establishment of the Stara Boleslav at the beginning of the 10th century", is devoted to the establishment of Stara Boleslav and the first sacral center in this area, curch of St. Cosma and Damian. First of all it deals with the founding of the Přemysslid castle , chat was the ground plan, if it was fortificated and what was the type of the fortification, what kind of buildings were situated in this area. Finally, this chapter deals with the legends of St. Wenceslav, in which the authors afer to the Stara Boleslav or just to the Boleslav's castle. This is followed by chapter which is dealing with the church of St. Cosma and Damian, where it was situated, waht it looked like, from what material it was built. In connection with the material of hic construction, the thesis also deals with analogies from the same period. The last chapter then deals with the archeological researches of the the area, the beginnigs of researches, researches in the church of St. Wenceslav and above all with the churchyard findings in the area of the castle and its bailey.
Wooden church of St. Anne in Tatranská Javorina, Slovakia

In this thesis, we have dealt with an original example of Early 20th Century Neo-Gothic sacral architecture in a mountinous setting of the High Tatras in Slovakia - St. Anne Church in Tatranská Javorina. We have analyzed the typologiy of the building, as well as written sources on inventory? of the church, as well as on later maintenance works. We made a record of a local ecclesiastical life, influenced by translocations between two parishes. The special impact of this thesis is the definition both of the designer (Karl Klimm) and the model of the examined building. The Convent of Dominican Nuns on the Hare Island in Budapest. An Outline

The Convent of Dominicans on the Hare Island in Budapest. The topic of the master thesis is the architectural analysis of the Nunnery of Dominicans on the Hare Island in Budapest, which was established with Bela the IV. to his daughter Margaret - later Saint Margeret of Hungary. The Nunnery was originated around the middle of the 13th century (the most probably between 1246-1252). And is presented as an example of the archtitecture of Nunnery of the Orders of Dominicans in Europe. This master thesis presents the history of this Nunnery and also the origin of the guild of the nunnery. The guild was working all around Buda for the king of Hungary - Béla IV. Some of the Hungarian Art Historians think, that the guild originally came to Hungary after they finished their works on the Nunnery of the Cistercianer Order in Porta Coeli in Tišnov near Brno. The person of Saint Margaret of Hungary and her Cult in Hungary and Europe is also discussed in this master thesis.

The thesis should notice the time when the two churches arose by looking back at the historical situation in the 13th century Premyslid Bohemia. Furthermore, we will try to evaluate the social, legal and property situation of the given area, and it will monitor the development and building. The work is given a chapter on the administrative area of Sedlecko to point out conflicts of interest of Czech kings and Roman rulers in this territory and the formation of the state historic town of Cheb and between the 12th and 13th century. The origins of Ostrov agglomeration is linked to the family of Hrabišic. The following chapter discusses their family, their asset base and foundation. The main part is devoted to the translocation and the relocation of settlements from the center of the parish church of St. James to St. Nicholas. The reason was, as it was previously shown, an unsatisfactory position of the original settlement for its further development, which was necessary for the competitiveness of the local market center. It subsequently evolved into a town. This situation culminated in the privilege of King John of Luxembourg. Monastery Rosa Coeli - the oldest noble foundation in Moravia

Name of thesis Convent Rosa Coeli - the eldest noble foundation in Moravia This interdisciplinary thesis is focused on Rosa Coeli, the Gothic ruin, located in Dolni Kounice near by Brno. It is the oldest female Premonstratensian monastery in Moravia, which is at the same time example of the oldest noble foundation which is dated back to 1181. The thesis is based on a solid Heuristic analysis of the various written sources, which are additionally confronted with the various scientific disciplines. The first part condenses an overview of current research developments which includes inventory of various sources. It is followed by a architectonic description of the monastery and by the hypotheses about its development. It is continued by analysis of three (previously) unreleased documents, which provide particular insight into the development and construction of the monastery. The very fundamental source is the Pope Boniface's document which was issued in 1390. It states that the construction of the monastery had to happen after the year 1390 so it do es not coincide with the analysis of some architectural fragments -this conclusion is still open. SCHWARZENBERK SPONSORED CHURCHES UNDER THE PRINCE JAN ADOLF II. IN THE PERIOD 1833-1888 This diploma work deals with construction of family sponsored churches of Schwarzenberk project office under Jan Adolf II. Especially is orientated at sacral construction connected with dynamic development of estate Český Krumlov. Very important is explaining of creative influence and inspiration of Schwarzenberk's architect Damas Deworezky and Jan Sedláček on new standardized sacral construction. It was compromise between functionality based on principles of static and decor of stylish neogothic style. Then I deal with imaginations of lay and church representatives of personage villages and their influence at new created sacral architecture. I deal with genealogy of family Schwarzenberk, local personage administration and section of the community of estate Český Krumlov. Conclusion and contribution of this diploma work is based on thorough strand prospection of archives funds of family Schwarzenberk and funds of personage offices.
The try of reconstruction sacral topography with special attention of church st. James the Greater in Jihlava in Middle Ages

RESUME The concern of this thesis is one of the sacred building of Jihlava town, the parish church of St. Jacob the Bigger. The main object of interest is the oldest history of this temple, which extends to the time of forming of its own city. It attempts to summarize the known knowledge and also to consider the new findings, mostly the character of archaeology. Therein, it is needed to mention, that most of the founded situations were not appropriately to the moment of usage accessed, concerning the state of actual examination, which is limited by building reconstructions. Generally, it is possible to state, that the actual results seem to be aligned with the historical development of the temple. The attention was dedicated also to church building, which is thought to be built before the today's temple, we consider this from different angles of point of views. The one of them was the intention to examinate the possibility of destruction by the fire, which is indicated in pope list as well as the susceptibility measures of construction parts originated from this building, later on used on the actual church building.
