Business plan: Uniseeker -- find your university

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a business plan for a startup called Uniseeker. The plan is to create a global platform, which helps students to find the right university abroad. The theoretical part describes processing of the business plan, with a focus on creating a business model and validating entrepreneur´s hypotheses. The practical part contains the business plan using Lean Canvas tool for creation of business model. Furthermore, the practical part deals with a market analysis, which is mainly oriented on problems and needs of potential users and customers. Results of the survey are included as well as data of student migration in the world.
Marketing Strategy for Starbucks café in the Ukrainian market

The goal of this thesis is to conduct a research and thorough analysis of the suggested new market for international company. In case of positive recommendation regarding market entry, marketing strategy and marketing mix are to be developed and proposed. The central idea behind the topic is to suggest efficient marketing strategy for Starbucks Corporation, global coffeehouses chain and coffee specialties seller, entry to the Ukrainian market. The recommendation is to be based on thorough analyses and researches of market environment and company's potential position. The thesis is divided into theoretical, analytical and practical parts. The theoretical part summarizes academical knowledge that is related to the topic of the thesis and that is used in further analytical and practical parts. Analytical part presents analyses made on country and industry situation and on current company's profile and strategies. In practical part, based on the analyses performed, the final recommendation on the mode of entry and marketing strategy is made.
The impact of the crisis on the foreign trade of Spain

The aim of this thesis is not only to analyze impacts of the crisis on the development of Spanish economy, but mainly focus on issues of the impact of the crisis on the development of Spanish international trade. First it looks at the economic history of Spain in the period 1939 - 2014, when the country went though turbulent times. It also describes Spanish trade policy, particularly pro-export policy and state support of exports, anti-crisis measures and assistance from the European Union. Finally, the work deals in detail with the impact of the crisis on the development of international trade in Spain.
The International Sugar Market

The aim of this thesis is to define and evaluate the position of sugar as a commodity within the international sugar market, including the outline of its future trends. Commodity is characterized in terms of its extraction, use and basic parameters and set into the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU. The EU sugar reform has resulted in the reduction in sugar volume produced by the member states and the transformation of the EU to a net sugar importer. Most of the world's sugar production is being shifted to developing countries. Due to the different attitudes of the WTO's members are efforts to eliminate barriers of the regulated sugar trade complicated. That is one reason why the price of sugar does not decrease as fast as expected. Future state of the sugar market should be determined by growing demand in emerging economies, further liberalization and the production of bioethanol.
Czech-German Economic Relations

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the economic relations between the Czech Republic and Germany by analysing their economies, foreign trade policies and mutual economic cooperation. The first chapter presents and compares the basic macroeconomic data. The following chapter focuses on the history of mutual relations, the Czech-German merchandise and services trade and the potential of mutual trade relations. The last chapter is devoted to the foreign direct investments in both economies.
The comparison of support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic and France

The bachelor thesis focuses on the most important sources of support provided to Czech and French small and medium enterprises. The described support results weather from public institutions or private organizations and associations. The aim of this thesis is to compare these two different systems of support. The first chapter evaluates the role of small and medium enterprises and highlights their importance in the European Union in general. Moreover, a part of this chapter is also description of the main sources of financial aid for the European enterprises. A specific support for small and medium enterprises in both countries is contained in the second and the third chapter. The key public and private organizations, offering both financial and nonfinancial aid, are there included as well. In conclusion, the most important findings are summarized and the main differences between French and Czech system of support are emphasized.
Economic relations between Czech Republic and Germany

My Bachelor thesis is devoted to economic relations between Czech Republic and Germany. It is focused on business and investment relations of these two European countries, above all on their connection and dependence of Czech Republic on its western neighborhood. The main part of the thesis consists of thorough description of competitive advantages of both countries, followed by key macroeconomic indicators and analysis of business relations along with their importance for both countries. Last part of the thesis deals with investment relations and the most important examples of investments in both countries are mentioned.
Internationalization of Business Activities of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

This bachelor thesis deals with the internationalization of medium-sized and small enterprises. It focuses on those enterprise characteristics that have direct impact on whether or not the enterprise will succeed in the process of internationalization. The thesis also mentions specific internationalization barriers that small and medium enterprises have to deal with. Because of their importance to the national economy, many state and EU funded support programmes have been developed. This thesis aims to provide a summary of the state and EU funded support system which is in place in the Czech Republic. The thesis analyses support programmes and services that are provided to small and medium enterprises with relation to their internationalization.
Company Culture of the ČSOB and the Raiffeisenbank

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issues concerning company culture based on that of sample companies ČSOB and Raiffeisenbank. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical sections -- the theoretical part dealing with the company culture as is. Additionally, there is elementary information regarding both the ČSOB and the Raiffeisenbank. The practical section, based on interviews with employees of both companies, describes the relationship shown towards employees, including a look at the ethical codex questions, the dress-code and the corporate social responsibility involved. In conclusion, the thesis compares the company cultures of both the ČSOB and the Raiffeisenbank.
International diamond trade

The thesis deals with the international diamond trade. It describes diamond as a unique commodity, which is a subject of interest of collectors and investors. The first part is focused on a general characteristic and an international evaluation of diamonds; next part presents world deposits and describes mining and processing of diamonds. The main part is devoted to trading with diamonds. This part presents the diamond market, its main players, places and volume of trade. The final part refers to conflict diamonds and the consequential Kimberley Process and other control measures when dealing with diamonds.
