Růžková, Jitka Eva ; Wagnerová, Irena (advisor) ; Rymeš, Milan (referee)

These are not only universally applicable when looking for a job, but are generally useful considering present demands. In the general part this thesis brings closer some theoretical solutions explaining the relationship between humans and work and it sheds light on the present understanding of unemployment as a social problem that has considerable impact on certain, perhaps socially challenged or vulnerable, groups of people. Here are presented facts about the impact unemployment has on human beings and their interaction with demographic and personal characteristics. Furthermore the reader becomes acquainted with thus far used approaches to conceptualizations of competencies and their effect on successful merging into the work life. The conclusion of this section attends to the possibilities of preventing unemployment on the primary, secondary and tertiary level. Outlined here are the specifics of individual and group work with the unemployment or people in danger of unemployment. The practical part briefly presents the creation of the program for the development of key competencies; it shows the running of the program which was...

Gender on The Labour Market in the Czech Republic - Equal Opportunities
Stoklasová, Miroslava ; Kaczor, Pavel (advisor) ; Růžková, Eva (referee)
The subject of my Bachelor thesis entitled "Gender on the Labour Market in the Czech Republic - Equal Opportunities" is a description of the functioning of labour markets and the resulting findings, as well as the analysis of the differences between men and women on the labour market in the Czech Republic. In its theoretical part, the presented thesis examines the fundamental causes and possible consequences of the emerging inequalities and it mainly focuses on these emerging inequalities, but not only on managerial (senior) positions. Its practical part contains the research work (in the form of a questionnaire), which investigates the general public's opinion on the emerging differences between men and women as to their opportunities on the labour market. The presented thesis also examines wage inequalities between men and women working on the same positions, in other words it tries to answer the essential question whether men and women in the Czech Republic can really enjoy equal opportunities.
