Running in the context of developmental kinesiology
Růžek, Ondřej ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jan (referee)
Title: Running in the context of developmental kinesiology Objective: The objective of this diploma thesis was to describe the running gait in the context of human developmental ontogenesis. From information sources working with the topic of developmental kinesiology, a comprehensive text was prepared on the influence of establishing posture on the subsequent development of locomotion patterns of walking and running. Methods: The compilation method was used in this work. Relevant peer-reviewed articles were drawn upon to identify current information on running kinesiology for subsequent interdisciplinary comparison of approaches to the definition and description of the running stride cycle. Results: In the thesis, it was repeatedly emphasized that reaching the float phase in a running gait is a genetically conditioned in a person's life. The thesis that the central control of postural-locomotor function is already engaged in the first year of life thanks to genetically encoded programs. In parallel with how the musculoskeletal system strengthens during the first year of life with the aim of overcoming gravity and achieving bipedality, the strength of functional control at the level of the CNS. Key words: step cycle of running, running, locomotion, posture, kinesiology of running

Title: Effect of a bicycle's component on the energy expenditure Objectives: Aim of this bachelor's thesis is to determine the difference of energy expenditure in a different component mounting frame of the bicycle. Methods: The study involved 6 probands aged 25.5 ± 3.6 years. Energy expenditure was calculated on the basis of oxygen consumed (O2) and carbon dioxide exhaled (VCO2). To measure was used exhaled gas analyzer Metamax from Cortex and method spiroergometry. Probands completed two runs cadence of 95 rounds per minute on a bicycle with a different component (a shock). Completed line measured 750 meters, led to a gradient of 5 ř ± 2 řand lasts 3 minutes. Results: In our study we found that the differences in energy intensity during bicycling on a hard-tail bike compared to a full-suspension are due to the standard error of the analyzer exhaled gases Metamax® insignificant. VO2 values during the study period did not exceed the threshold of 2 ml /kg/min for the confirmation the authenticity of our hypothesis. Cycling with two shock-absorbers at a distance of 750 m long and 3 minutes remains segment with the inclination of 5 ř ± 2 ř cause energy expenditure in the average value of 161.23 ± 33.15 kJ versus bicycling without shock-absorber and 160.98 ± 24.10 kJ expenditure, which represents an...
The Political Aspects of Financing of Municipalities in the Czech Republic
Růžek, Ondřej ; Čopík, Jan (advisor) ; Monika, Monika (referee)
The diploma thesis is focusing on economy and financing of three small municipalities in the Pilsen region. Financing of small municipalities is the quite complex and current topic, also in the Czech Republic. The thesis is a comparative case study. The analyzed municipalities are the following: Kožlany, Žihle and Kozojedy. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of given municipalities towards the influence of the economy and financing or the possibility to influence the amount of their income and costs. As a partial aim of this thesis is comparison and evaluation of the stance of mayors and other municipal representatives to the current model of financing of local governments and model of tax revenue. The thesis consists of two main parts. The theoretical part deals with a literary research, which defines basic conceptions referring to financing and economy of municipalities. The practical part is dedicated to basic characteristics of the compared municipalities, also the comparison all municipalities with the evaluation of the results obtained by the analysis.
