open source artificial intelligence options
Ostrý, Lubomír ; Kumpán, Pavel (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis focuses on open source tools and resources in the field of artificial intelligence, particularly in machine learning. The aim is to analyze current state, possibilities and limitations of work with a set of open source artificial intelligence programs. The first part describes and explains basic terms regarding machine learning, mainly neural networks, their training and use. Following section describes a set of machine learning tools, specifically their main characteristics, compatibility and use. Available sources of open source datasets for neural network training is a topic of another chapter. Lastly an application was created using a selection of described tools displaying their possibilities and use.
Design of electronic subsystem for reduced gravity impact simulator
Ostrý, Lubomír ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is development of an electronic subsystem for reduced gravity impact simulator. The research part of this thesis firstly covers methods used for simulation of microgravity or reduced gravity and compares them. Another part of research focuses on three selected potential approaches to creating the electronic subsystem for this device. The second, practical, part of this thesis describes the design and development of the electronic subsystem. The foundation of the electronic subsystem is a control unit which has been developed on the basis of an STMicroelectronics microcontroller. Using the control unit, the electronic subsystem measures pressure, position, acceleration and force in the system. Another task of the control unit is control of a stepper motor. Integration of individual elements into the electronic subsystem is described both in terms of software and hardware. Furthermore, a graphic user interface program for PC has been developed as a means to interact with the system. In the final part of the thesis, the operation of the electronic subsystem is described and lastly, the electronic subsystem is evaluated.
New series of ball screws
Chalupa, Josef ; Ostrý, Lubomír (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with construction of rotary-nut ball screw. In the first chapter technical research at the current state of linear positioning systems and matters associated with them is listed. The next chapter treats of basic concepts and designs referring to ball screws. Further on the boundary between rotary ball screw and rotary- nut ball screw is described. On basis of restrictions and selected criterions solution of one size of rotary – nut ball screw with all the calculations.
