ECB Monetary Policy: "One Size Doesn't Fit All" Problem and Its Impact on Credits Volume

In this work, I analyse inappropriateness of single monetary policy in the euro area and its impact on credit growth for the oldest twelve euro members and a time period spanning 1999Q1-2013Q3. The inappropriateness is expressed by deviations of actual interest rate from Taylor rule prescriptions. The obtained results are in line with a majority of existing literature since they show that the ECB's single interest rate was the least suitable for the so called PIIGS countries prior to the recent economic crisis. The impact of the deviations on credit growth is estimated econometrically by dynamic panel data estimation. The findings confirm my hypothesis that the deviations from the Taylor rule have a significant positive effect on credits volume, i.e. the higher is the Taylor rule prescription above the actual rate, the higher is the credit growth.

Economic crisis 2008-2010 in Baltics

The main objective of the Bachelor's thesis is the description of causes, course and consequences of the economic crisis 2008-2010 in the Baltic countries. The biggest emphasis is placed on developments in the financial and real estate sector and the labour market. Attention is also focused on the vigorous solution of the crisis that is often given for exemplary action in the crisis period. The thesis also contains a brief description of the region's economic history and the development of the economic crisis 2008-2010 in the world. The main chapter focuses on the crisis development in the Baltics, including the basic causes of the economic downturn. The final chapters describe the current economic situation in the Baltics, bring a comparison with selected European countries and outline a short-term outlook for further development of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The contribution of this thesis is mainly that it shows a possible effective solution of economic problems. Especially the PIIGS countries, which are still in crisis and urgently need to restore their competitiveness and confidence of the financial markets, should pay attention to the example of the Baltic countries that managed to start high growth of their economies relatively soon after the deep slump.

The proposal of tourism development project in selected part of Třeboň region

The main aim of this diploma thesis was to work out a feasibility study. This work was defined by the tourism located in the Trebon area. Next important aims were the opportunity identification at the tourism market in the Trebon area, the determination of the right technical and funded protection of this project and finally the definition of the financial side of the project. The market tourism opportunities in Trebon area were determined by a market exploration which was provided by the questionnaire from my bachelor thesis. I defined the best product of the tourism market which was based on the analyses. By that product, it was the service in sightseeing flight in a hot air balloon. There are some options of the funding. For my project it could be a grant from the South Bohemia region for small and medium business or the grant from the Southwest Regional Operational Program NUTS II in session 2007 ? 2013. Next possibility could be the cooperation with the sponsors.

Tourism and recreation in selected area of Třeboň region

This bachelor work evaluates actual situation of the tourism in the area of Třeboň region and that is the main aim of this work. Next there are three smaller parts. The first one is the description of the development in the tourism in the particular place. The work analyses, as the count of particular kinds of premises in the towns, as and their place. The second one is the structure of current visitors, whereof was achieved in the questionnaire. The topics which are suitable for optimising the using of this place in the tourism are the last point in this work. For this, I used the theory finding and compared with the practical research that I gained by the help of the study of the place and the analyse of the visitors.

Zakladatelský finanční plán

Diplomová práce hodnotí finanční situaci vznikající společnosti. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní účetní výkazy společnosti (rozvaha, výkaz zisků a ztrát a výkaz cash flow) a postup finanční analýzy. Praktická část se věnuje prvním třem rokům existence společnosti. Je zde uvedena volba právní formy podnikání a analýza nákladů a výnosů. Na základě poměrových ukazatelů likvidity, aktivity, zadluženosti a výnosnosti vypočítaných z údajů získaných z účetních výkazů je zde analyzována finanční situace a vývoj společnosti.
