Analysis of Spectra of Electric Guitars Made of Various Materials
Zezulová, Eliška ; Musil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelor‘s thesis focuses on the spectral analysis of two electric guitars. The Cort X-6 electric guitar is used for harder genres of music. The second Fokus-H Strat guitar is more of a rock-universal type of instrument. The work deals with the spectrums of tones using various guitar pickups and analyzes them with the use of psychoacoustic measurements in the perception of timbre. It examines variations in the sound spectrum when there’s a manipulation with tone and gain controls. The measured values of the tone control are divided into thirds of the potentiometer range. The volume has been halved. The following is a look at the change of sound spectrum when using a harder plectrum. The end of the work is devoted to the difference in colors of two tones that were recorded under the same conditions. Their difference lies in the way of holding the neck of an electric guitar.
Analysis of Influence of Hardness and Alteration of Piano Hammer on Strength and Spectrum of Signal
Mikulášková, Aneta ; Musil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of the time-varying spectrum of sound of the piano series 125 and M 110 by PETROF and the influence of intonation on this spectrum. It analyzes the higher harmonic components in relation to the force applied to strings and the use of variously tuned hammers. Bachelor’s thesis observes the effect of the dynamics of keystroke and intonation on the pitch of the tone in its time and frequency plane and tone’s energy loss in relation with the dynamics. Further, the thesis describes the way of measuring and recording the captured tone samples and their subsequent processing and analysis in the application created in MATLAB development environment.
Business Plan - Purchase of Modern Technology
Musil, Jiří ; Brauner, Roman (referee) ; Heralecký, Tomáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the acquisition of modern technology with an emphasis on the opportunity to use grant funds from the EU. The intention is to capture the assumptions and theoretical analysis of the situation of the company. The result should be a project which envisages the granting of subsidies.
The Innovation of organ pipes
Holba, Stanislav ; Musil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis deals with the sound colour of organ pipes in relation to the way of tone excitation, physical dimensions of organ pipes and the construction material used. The sound colour of individual organ pipes is described by means of spectral analysis and selected psychoacoustic variables. The obtained knowledge is further used for the production of organ pipes from atypical materials and modification of conventional organ pipes. Resonator simulations are performed for the materials used for the production in order to determine the theoretical value of the resonant frequencies. These values are compared with the results of spectral analysis of the sound of physical organ pipes.
Sugar storage tank
Kotík, Libor ; Musil, Jiří (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The matter of this thesis is static design and examination of prestressed storage tank to 50000 tons of sugar. Computational model of the steel roof structure is processed and its effect on the silos. Loads is provided of sugar. Optimal design is performed and assessment ultimate and serviceability limit state reinforced concrete and prestressing horizontal silo wall including local load. Next, it is performed the design of a reinforced concrete of the plane bed and column and assessment at the ultimate limit state. The thesis is also drawing documentation, technical report and visualization of construction process. The aim of this work is to the design of the main components based on the required storage capacity tank, mechanical properties of the stored material and technical amenities.
Analysis of the spectrum of cymbals and their time envelopes
Adamják, Adam ; Musil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis deals with the analysis of idiophones, the description of the measuring chain, and the analysis of the spectrum and time course of the measured samples. Based on spectral analysis, individual parameters and influences on the sound of cymbals were evaluated, such as the location of the blow or the type and hardness of the drum sticks. The theoretical basis also deals with the basic theory of the sound signal to the issue of noise and psychoacoustic perceptions. The conclusion deals with the basic mechanical properties and puts them into context with spectral analysis.
Electronic stability systems
Musil, Jan ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
In this Bachelor’s thesis there are basic electronic stability systems described. These systems are mostly used as a precaution in safety of the traffic, but also to ensure comfort of the crew. The main part of the thesis is focused on systems ABS, ASR and ESP. The other parts aim to describe additional systems, which are still in development. In the end there is also view of various individual car companies and possible steps in the future.
Design of concrete structure of Music Pavilion in Podebrady
Juda, Jan ; Musil, Jiří (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the roofing of the stage in spa park in Poděbrady. This construction is designed in two variants. In each variant is determined load on the structure and internal forces acting on the structure. Of these two variants, only one variant was selected. This selected variant was design in detail. In this variant was dimension their parts. Under the roof construction is located stage, which was not solved in the diploma thesis. All elements are dimensioned to the ultimate load condition by ČSN EN 1992-1-1. Drawings of the foundations, shapes construction, reinforcement and visualization are processed in the drawing part.
Project of supporting applications for technologic process creation of shaft piece.
Musil, Jan ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This diploma thesis is deal with problems of supporting applications for technologic process creation of shaft parts. Thesis contains a description of the problem of technological processes, shaft parts and supporting applications for technological pro-cesses creation of technologic process. It is also described their proposed applications, and its possible cooperation with existing systems.
UPDATE OF DTMM USING MOBILE SCANNING SYSTEM
Cimpl, Tomáš ; Musil, Jiří (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the updating of digital technical city map. Specifically with map updating using data from mobile scanning system and a comparison with map updating performed without the use of a mobile mapping system. Aim of the thesis was to update the digital technical map of Pardubice in the range of map sheet Pardubice 8-1/21.
