The theoretical part also describes the development of wages and salaries in selected period. The practical part bears on standartizion and remuneration in selected construction companies in the Czech Republic.

The bachelor thesis deals with the compilation of the budget of a building with a focus on ancillary budget costs. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical chapter explains the definition of the budget, its components and methods of its calculation. The practical part consists of the compilation of ancillary budget costs of a specific building by an individual method of calculation. The conclusion is the summary of the acquired knowledge and recommendations for the selected company.

Management of small public tender with focus on price

The purpose of this Master’s thesis is to propose a procedure for the management of small-scale public construction contracts for municipalities. The procedure is designed based on information obtained from an analysis of the development of the existence and quality of internal regulations, an analysis of the development of information openness and in particular, a questionnaire completed amongst the mayors of municipalities. The resulting procedure for the awarding of small-scale public construction contracts is divided into three categories according to the expected value of the public contract. For each category, the number of suppliers contacted, the address of the suppliers, the decision-making entity and the bid evaluation process are set out in such a way that small municipalities can use this procedure as an internal rule for small-scale public construction contracts.

Tato diplomová práce podrobně zkoumá vývoj a trendy v oblasti mezd v České republice. Teoretická část se zabývá základními pojmy spojenými s mzdami a detailně popisuje složky mezd a jejich výpočet. Praktická část využívá kvantitativní analýzu pro zhodnocení vývoje minimální a průměrné mzdy v ČR. Porovnává také mzdové ukazatele s ostatními evropskými zeměmi a zkoumá faktory, které ovlivňují výši mezd, jako je zaměstnanost, vzdělání a genderová nerovnost. Výsledky práce nabízejí komplexní pohled na dynamiku mzdové politiky v České republice a její pozici v rámci evropského měřítka.

The subject of the thesis is a price comparison of a variant technical solution of a specific building. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part describes the basic terms used in the processing of calculation and budget, price theory, types of prices and software used for budget. The practical part consists of the proposal of variable technical solutions and their comparison based on the chosen criteria. The conclusion is the evaluation of various variable technical solutions and the selection of the most suitable technical solution regarding the purpose of the building.

Influence of Building Environmental Certification on Price Valuation with Respect to the Building Life-Cycle

The aim of this diploma thesis is an analysis and evaluation of environmental certifications influence on rental rates and operating costs of administrative buildings. The analysis is conducted for administrative buildings because these are the most frequently certified buildings in the Czech Republic. To fulfil this defined goal, two office space offer price databases in Prague and Brno are compiled. The first database is consists of office space offer rentals which possess environmental certification. The second database is also compiled of building offer rentals but without environmental certification. Based on these two databases the effect of environmental certification on rental rates using paired t-test is examined. Simultaneously, effective operating costs of buildings located in Brno are analysed, and it is evaluated whether and if so, at what intensity their amount is affected by environmental certifications.

Price of a building calculated using selected software

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of price making and a budget preparing in the field of civil engineering. The first part of the thesis introduces readers to the terminology. Individual types of item budgets, basic types of items of budgets and the theoretical procedure of budget preparation and calculation are mentioned. The second part of the thesis focuses on the practical solution to the problém of a budget compilation of a new family house. At first, the new family house is defined. Based on the project documentation and personal inspection of the house an itemized budget is drawn up. An item budget is then created with the KROS 4 software according to the project documentation. An itemized budget is implemented to selected items using the KROS 4 and the BUILDPower S software. All the versions of the budget are then compared and evaluated.

Safety and the risks of working in the construction and their evaluation

The aim of the thesis is to introduce the issue of occupational health and safety in the construction industry with a focus on work accidents. The techniques and methods used in searching and rating of hazard, basic legislation on occupational health and safety and work accidents are described in this thesis. Simultaneously the statistics of work injuries for 2015 are compared in four selected construction companies in the Czech Republic. Also the sources and causes of work accidents in surveyed construction companies are analyzed and then on the based this analysis I suggest preventive measures against the most common sources and causes.

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of the price development of the extension of the kindergarten Újezd and selected items from the budget. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of price theory, costing, construction budget and costs. The practical part examines the development of selected items and materials from the budget and the total cost of construction from 2016 to 2023. The output of this work is a description and graphical representation of the development of prices of works and materials.
