Evaluation of electronic services - Public administration

This thesis focuses on the e-Government, especially on the justice and law. The main objective is to create a methodology for measuring the success of two actual "in progress" projects -- electronic collection of Laws and electronic legislation. The strategic e Government documents create background of the thesis. The analysis and evaluation of projects' statuses are made with using the annual reports. Both projects are described and related to the legal system of CZ and commercial legal ICT systems. The final part of the thesis presents a design of methodology, created on the base of obtained knowledge.

Teamwork in sound postproduction of audiovisual work

The main goal of this thesis is to describe psychological principles in general, which brings good function of teamwork. For successful leadership of team is very important not only good knowledge of those principles, but one has to know how them apply into specific environment of sound postproduction.
The first third of thesis speaks generally about socio-psychological relationships inside team as the unit and describes main principles of its function.
Second two third of thesis analyse sound supervisor as a team leader and specify his work activity, for example how he should correctly create team and coordinate it. In next chapters is described specific environment of sound postproduction and is created model of ideal team in the sense of good function. Then, are described differences between temporal and long-lasting teams. By comparing their characteristics with solitaire model of work, one can tell which are the most suitable solutions for environment of sound postproduction.
Final comparing of ideal and theoretical model with everyday reality closes whole thesis.

A profession spezialization of Sound Design in Audiovisual work

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to widen the general knowledge of profession specialization in the area of film sound design within the Czech Republic. Team work is a common way of collaboration in the western countries mainly. In my thesis I would like to point out the possibilities this cooperation brings as well as I want to mention the examples when the teamwork does not have to be truly working. I use my own knowledge and gained experience. The most important part is the confrontation of the praxis coming from the interviewing the active working film sound designers in the Czech Republic. Within single chapters they answer questions to the topics I consider important and essential.

Sound Design: Walter Murch

Walter Murch is a film sound designer and editor who introduced the term "Sound
Design". His filmography is full of legendary movies such as The Godfather, Apo-
calypse Now, THX1138 etc. This text analyses the sound design of the movies he
had worked on and the work of Walter Murch in general.
Murch also invented the worldizing technology, became well known for his creative
work with film music, and was one of the pioneers of multichannel sound.
More space is dedicated to the explanation of the term Sound Design, its origins,
development and current meaning.
Video clips on the enclosed DVD demonstrate Murch`s artistic and storytelling
style.

The basics of sound design in audiovisual productions

The bachelor project on theme: " The basics of sound design in audiovisual parts" has a goal to introduce some basic activities connected with the sound design to new students of Faculty of the sound production at Film Academy of Performing Arts and is also dealing with some practical recommendations and principles connected with this profession.
The project is divided into four parts: Preparation works, the time of production, sound postproduction and a dictionary of elementary terms.
The author of the bachelor project has not reached a complex summary of all activities dealing with sound design, he is just working with some specific topics.

Dramaturgical work with surround channels

This bachelor theoretic thesis is a basic introduction to the surround sound domain. Using regressive analysis of short previews of feature films it should show some ways of dramaturgical work with surround channels. The first part pursues basic theory of surround sound and the second examines specific use of surround channels for each part of film sound track.
