The Sanitary and Gas Instalation in the Retirement home

The content of the thesis is the analysis and design of health technical and gas installations in a home for the elderly. The building has one underground and four above-ground floors. In the underground floor there are technical rooms, warehouses for large kitchen operation, staff changing rooms, cellars. On the first floor there are rooms for the elderly, which have their own bathroom, kitchen, cafeteria, day rooms for staff and doctor's office. On the second and third floors, one part of the building houses the administration office with its own sanitary facilities, while the other part contains rooms for the elderly with their own bathrooms, a lounge and a winter garden. On the third and fourth floors there are mainly rooms for the elderly. The theoretical part deals with Legionella bacteria. In the thesis I deal with the comparison of two solution options using conventional circulation and without circulation pipes using heating cables. The calculation part contains all the calculations necessary for the design of the water, sewerage and gas pipelines including their connection to the utilities.

Relation between Physical Attractiveness and Grooming"

Physical attractiveness plays an important role in many aspects of our lives. The aim of this study is to reveal what is the correlation between rating of physical attractiveness made by oneself and by others, and personal grooming. The relation between self-rating of overall physical attractiveness and its rating made by others (using photographs) and connection between these ratings and personal grooming were examined on the basis of a heterogeneous sample of 43 women and 32 men. These ratings of overall attractiveness, face attractiveness and body attractiveness were provided by 34 judges (each time 17 males and 17 females) different for every variable. Our results showed a positive relation between participant's self-rating of overall physical attractiveness and its rating made by others. Further analyses proved that rating of overall physical attractiveness was positively associated both with facial and body attractiveness for both sexes. With regard to women, a correlation between self-rating of physical attractiveness and reduced care of body shape and eyebrow was revealed; regarding men, self-rating correlated with reduced care of body shape, hair, fingernails and less care for outfit was shown. Detection of bid rigging - theoretical and empirical analysis

This thesis is a case study examining Czech public procurement in medi- cal machinery industry. It proposes and applies several practical methods for identifying risk of bid rigging, such as: frequency analysis of participation of the same small groups of firms, analyzing ownership structure of participating firms and frequency analysis of systematically excluded bids of firms. Results include presence of cases of the same small groups of firms which bid more fre- quently together with no other competitors. Main contribution of the work lays in outlining some analytical possibilities for practical detection of bid rigging risk. Terminology Analysis of the International Classification of Nursing Practice

The presented work contains an analysis of the terminology system of the International Classification of Nursing Practice (ICNP) in the context of medical / health informatics. The author analyses the roots of difficult penetration of information technologies into health-related applications: it is the difference in the view of the nature of information between healthdisciplines and information technologies as well as the subjective nature of health as the subject of health disciplines. As a possible solution to overcome these differences that has its solid base in husserlian phenomenology and that is compliant with Peirce's semiotics, the author shows semantic matching of health-related data with algorithms that process these data. Semantic matching, however, must be based on a reliable and accurate description of meanings of concepts and relations - which brings the need for a sound terminology system. The work describes the origins, the history and the structure of the ICNP system of nursing terminology. The consequences of the use of multiaxial hierarchy for the first versions of ICNP are analyzed and the circumstances of the Czech translation are explained. Sustainability of public debt, deficits of public budgets and economic growth

Cílem práce je otestovat udržitelnost veřejného dluhu a vliv fiskální politiky na ekonomický růst ve vybraných zemích OECD (Belgie, Francie, Itálie, Ra- kousko a Velká Británie). První část práce je věnována historickému vývoji eko- nomických přístupů k tomuto tématu a teoretickým předpokladům modelů. V druhé části práce přistupujeme k ekonometrické analýze. Na základě výsledků se podařilo prokázat udržitelnost veřejného dluhu v Belgii a Rakousku. U Itálie a Velké Británie výsledky ukazují, že jejich primární přebytky reagují pozitivně na zvyšující se poměr dluhu vůči HDP. Nepodařilo se však ukázat, že vývoj je- jich veřejného dluhu je stacionární proces. U Francie převažoval negativní vztah primárních přebytků a poměru dluhu vůči HDP. Vliv fiskální politiky na ekonomický růst zkoumáme z pohledu rozdělení výdajů na produktivní a neproduktivní a přijmů vlády na distorční a nedistorční. Z důvodu omezené dostupnosti dat se podařilo prokázat pouze v případě Itálie, že zvýšení fiskálního deficitu o 1% snižuje o 1% ekonomický růst, zvýšení distorčních daní o 1% snižuje ekonomický růst o 1,2% a zvýšení produktivních výdajů zvyšuje ekonomický růst o 0,5%. A view of health oppicers in nurses' education

Bachelor's thesis is engaged in nurse's problems and their working conditions relating to new forms of education. It includes a view to the past and shows possibilities of education nowadays. It points out forms of qualities studying and lifelong education. The thesis refers to registration of nurses and changes of nurses' education in legislation of the Czech Republic. Nature of thesis forms an empiric past, which engages in research of chosen health officers, who reacted to nurses' education. Specimen of respondents made doctors and nurses from four health institutions: The Hospital in Motol , The Asociation of Samaritans in Kralupy nad Vltavou, The Hospital Hořovice and The Hospital Jablonec nad Nisou working at different branches. I also compared options of two professions, doctors and nurses to mentioned changes and progress in relationship nurse-doctor.
