The outcome of a thesis is a proposal and recommendation of the most advantageous variant for financing of given real estate.

The topic of this master thesis is an Impairment of assets. Theoretical part is focused on International Financial Reporting Standards related to the issue of impairment of assets. This part also focuses on theoretical issues of discount rate and cost of capital. The goal of practical part is to determinate company’s cash flow and cost of capital and test company’s assets for impairment loss.

Value Estimating of Company

This master thesis deals with value estimation of company Jihomoravská plynárenská, a.s. using income-based valuation methods. The first part describes theoretical principles, fundametal approaches and business valuation methods. Afterwards strategic and financial analyses are performed. The proposal part includes value generators analysis and forecast, financial plan creation and business valuation by application of DCF method and capitalized past earnings method. In conclusion the estimation of value is stated to 1/1/2010.

This master’s thesis deals with processing business project building boarding-house in Tisnov area. Theoretical part includes investment decision, business project, methods of economic evaluation investment and defines tourist trade. Practical part analyses present situation, description of boarding-house and environment, influence the crisis on accommodation. Design part costs accounting project, predicting incomes, net use of beds and average price in accommodation. Master’s thesis also rates investment efficiency by means of net present value and pay-off period.

Business Plan in Field of Specialized Sporting Activities

Záměrem diplomové práce je předložit podnikatelský plán, jehož podstatou je založení obchodní společnosti a realizace v oblasti specializovaného sportovního odvětví „powerkitingu“. V první části práce se věnuji teoretickým východiskům, které jsou dále aplikovány a rozvedeny v praktické části. Zde se zabývám vlastním založením firmy, její struktuře, analýze okolí a marketingové strategii spolu s vyhodnocením rizika a rentability. Dále jsou zkoumány možnosti rozvoje firmy. Na závěr je provedeno zhodnocení předloženého plánu.
