Míchal, Jakub ; Kubjátová, Pavla (referee) ; Poláček, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of selected company in fiscal period from 31.3.2013 to 31.3.2018. The thesis is devided into four basic parts. The goals and metodology are defined in the first part, individual instruments of financial analysis used in this thesis are described in the detail in the next part. Followed by financial analysis itself, which evaluates the current economic situation of the company. And the final part contains personal suggestions for improvement of economic business in company, what actually main goal of the thesis.
Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification
Míchal, Jakub ; Špatenka, Jan (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the evaluation of the information system of the company REDA a.s.. To assess the state of the information system and organization in general, several analyzes and models are used, which reveal possible shortcomings. The final part of this work tries to correct these shortcomings, when suitable measures are proposed, which leads to the improvement of the company's information system and overall operations.
Solving optimization problems in lower and upper secondary school
Michal, Jakub
The goal of this diploma thesis is to gather and describe ways the optimisation problems had been solved before the calculus was invented. Some of the methods identified through history are generalised and these which could be utilised at secondary or primary school education are described more in depth. Thesis descri- bes the method, where educator follows historical development of the problem in classroom and what benefits it might bring, as well. There is a section dedicated to evaluation of experiment which goal was to investigate understanding of pupils to certain concepts in the field of optimisation, mainly concerning isoperimetric problem. It was also focused on the pupils fe- edback to different approaches of optimisation problem solving. 1
Nuclear fission reactions
Michal, Jakub ; Lachman, Jakub (referee) ; Sitek, Tomáš (advisor)
Understanding of physical principles of nuclear fission and nuclear reactions is crucial for operation of a nuclear power plant. Both, light nuclides, and heavy nuclides, are fissionable, but retrieve enough energy is possible only for the heavy ones such as uranium and plutonium. There are many possible ways how the nuclear fission of the same nuclide can take place, however the energetic balance remains almost the same. Another important factor is the yield of the different isotopes. After fission they are usually in an excited state and decay by one of the decay modes. The nuclear fuels are normally based on the fissile nuclides mainly of the uranium and minorly on the plutonium. Despite the plutonium is originally in the fuel, it is one of the main sources of the released energy from nuclear fission. Problems of nuclear fission are then connected with the nuclear waste and possible proliferation of nuclear weapons.

Crime Prevention
Michal, Jakub ; Tlapák Navrátilová, Jana (advisor) ; Galovcová, Ingrid (referee)
Crime Prevention - Abstract - keywords Abstract The thesis outlines the current theoretical knowledge in the area of crime prevention. It focuses on the definition of crime prevention as one of two components of crime control, as opposed to the repressive component. It also introduces various views on the definition of crime prevention presented in literature. Furthermore, it discusses the theoretical classification of crime prevention with a more detailed examination of classification in terms of content and levels of crime prevention. Subsequently, the thesis narrows down its focus on the limiting factors of crime prevention encountered in practice. The thesis provides a general overview of the various categories of these factors as formulated in Czech and Slovak literature, as well as briefly turning to foreign resources. Crime prevention is an extensive multi-faceted field involving a number of state as well as non-state entities. In order for crime prevention to be fully operational in a democratic state ruled by law, it must be done in accordance with the law. This is one of the theoretical requirements of this criminological sub-field, which is expressed by the principle of the complexity of crime prevention. However, acting in accordance with the law is not in itself sufficient. In the rule of law,...

Progressive conception of off-road vehicles with respect to traction properties
Michal, Jakub ; Prikner, Patrik (advisor) ; Jindra, Petr (referee)
The aim of bachelor thesis was compile a summary of meaningful traction and construction chassis parameters containing fundamental principles of contemporary off-road trial race cars. The introduction part showed a short presentation of off-road car trial races. The aim of the work, it was necessary establishing basic parameters of off-road trial race cars as a basis for the design of best race trial cars. Firstly, the parameters were used as stoned to a best off-road trial car design. These parameters have been arranged into two chapters Static, design parameters and Dynamic, traction properties. Then subparameters of off-road trial car have been determined as a specific example in the thesis. The analysis of these outputs confirmed close relationship and dependence fully. Finally, methods have been specified using a fundamental terramechanics approaches implemented in calculation of required driving torque under specific terrain conditions.
