Microstructural stability of austenitic steels during fatigue loading
Kudelka, Martin ; Válka, Libor (referee) ; Pantělejev, Libor (advisor)
This diploma thesis studies the structure of selected austenitic stainless steels which were fatigued at room and depressed temperatures. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first one defines the austenitic stainless steels with accent to their chemical composition and microstructure. Second part is dedicated to deformation-induced martensite formation. The third part shows the mechanisms and stages of damage due to cyclic straining. The experimental part is focused especially on the observing of microstructural changes by methods of colour metallography and their relation to stress-strain response of material under selected conditions of fatigue loading. Series of samples of 304 and 316L steels were prepared by colour etching and their microstructures were documented using optical microscopy. Then the semi-quantitative measurements of presence and morphology of deformation-induced martensite were done and the results were discussed and correlated with fatigue damage level.
Fatigue properties of structural steel 11 523
Kudelka, Martin ; Kohout, Jan (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis studies the mechanical properties of steel 11 523 in the state after normalization annealing. Its purpose is an assessment of the structure in material and determination of static and fatigue characteristics. In the theoretical part of thesis, there is explained, how to divide and mark kinds of steel. There is also a mention about basic parameters of material and the main attention is paid to fatigue and its laws. The metallographic analysis, tensile test and the fatigue test were realized in the experimental part of thesis. Experimentally determined values were compared with data in the literature.
Analysis and visualization of a social network
Kudělka, Miloš ; Mráz, František (advisor) ; Skopal, Tomáš (referee)
The present work starts with study of past and current methods from the field of analysis and visualization of social networks. Selected methods are then described in detail. Following part is devoted to research of current software. Selected applications are tested and evaluated according to their capability of showing a development in dynamic social networks -- networks with temporal data. Based on these researches an application is designed and implemented. This application can be used for analysis and visualization of a development of dynamic networks in time. Finally, the application is tested on co-authorship social network by means of the bibliographic database of scientific papers DBLP. The work also presents the results of the experiments with implemented algorithms.
3D Computer Vision on the Android Platform
Vášová, Viktorie ; Mach, Lukáš (advisor) ; Kudělka, Miloš (referee)
The aim of this work is to study the problem of automatically reconstructing a 3D scene from a pair of its photographs. It investigates to what extent can this task be performed on a mobile phone running on the Android platform. Several image correspondence algorithms are discussed. The specifics of the Android platform from developers perspective are also considered. The algorithms are then utilized in a particular way to obtain a mobile software solution for 3D reconstruction. This software runs solely on a mobile phone, including capturing the photos by the phone's camera and the final visualization. An implementation of the application is a part of this work.
Evaluation function for Atari-go
Kudělka, Miloš ; Hric, Jan (advisor) ; Majerech, Vladan (referee)
The present work describes a design and an implementation of Atari Go computer game. This includes an implementation of mini-max and mini-max with alpha-beta pruning algorithms for searching for the best moves. Additionally, the work describes the design and the implementation of an evaluation function and the selection of suitable criteria of the position. This function then can evaluate the position by evaluating these criteria. Further on, the work demonstrates one style of improving the parameters of evaluation function - simple learning algorithm is designed, applied to this problem and implemented. This algorithm improves the parameters by playing games. The results of improvings are presented in the work, too.
