Krempl, Jan ; Surynek, Alois (advisor) ; Jarošová, Eva (referee)
This Bachelor's Thesis deals with leadership in team work, more precisely with application of basic leadership principles in student team work. The goal of the Thesis is to evaluate the current state of organization of student team work and to provide suggestions for improving it based on acquired theoretical knowledge and following empirical research. Six students, with whom the author had worked during his studies, were chosen as respondents for the empirical research. The information itself was acquired through a semi-structured interview. The Thesis consists of three main chapters. The theoretical part deals with leadership in general, leader's personality and constituent processes of team work, relevant for student team work at university. The next chapter summarizes the methods used in the empirical chapter and at the same time describes the specifics of the environment in which the empirical research took place. The last chapter represents the research itself, specifically the acquired information, its interpretation and most importantly the discovered shortcomings and suggestions of measures directed at correcting them.
