Preparation of training materials for high voltage switchgears
Nosek, Jan ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis documents the creation of training materials for high voltage switchgear. Most of the work is devoted to introduction of products of ABB company, which the training materials are developed for. The main emphasis was on introduction of the UniGear ZS1 switchgear, which the main product of ABB's high voltage switchgear domain is. The last chapter is devoted to the analysis of the different levels of training materials.
Construction of forecast model for water flow in the measurement profile
Škarecký, Pavel ; BBA, Šárka Zemanová, (referee) ; Kozel, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis was the construction and calibration of a prediction model for water flow in a specific profile on the river Dyje in the village Podhradí nad Dyjí. The work is divided into theoretical and computational part. The theoretical part describes the transformation of historical data, types of probabilistic models and current drought problems. The computational part describes the stochastic model, the distribution of flows into zones of occurrence and the subsequent determination of the ideal quantile. Finally, the individual settings of the model and the evaluation of the results are compared.
Verification of the dependence between rain intensity and N-year flow for selected river basins
Tomášek, Lukáš ; BBA, Šárka Zemanová, (referee) ; Kozel, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the verification of various precipitation events in two selected river basins. Within the work, both river basins are schematized and a precipitation-runoff model is created for each of them, being calibrated on the basis of proposal flow rates from the Odra River Basin. Alternative rain intensities are tested on the calibrated precipitation-runoff model. The result should be a flow rate that corresponds approximately to the proposed flow rate Q20.
Forecasting model of water flows in the affected measured profile
Krepčík, Jiří ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Kozel, Tomáš (advisor)
Stochastic prediction models were compiled for the needs of stochastic control of the storage function of the tank. These models better capture random processes, among which we can include the flow in the specific profile. The work describes the compilation and evaluation of the flow prediction model, which falls into the category of stochastic models. It is a modified zonal model, which is applied to the affected specific profile. The model was calibrated and validated on a test measurement profile. The specific profile contains 85 years of historical measurements. A large amount of data was obtained from the model. The obtained data are evaluated by a programmed program and the conclusion of the work is the evaluation of the success and quality of the model.
Timber Detached House
Kozel, Tomáš ; Hlásková, Michaela (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design a detached house with a garage. The building is solved as a frame construction. The detached house is roofed partly by a flat roof and partly by a hounch roof. When designing the object the accent of its funcionality was emhasized and the proposition of the energetically economic object.
Simulation model of reservoir system in Dyje river basin
Buršík, Lukáš ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor’s Thesis is focused on creating a simulation model of the reservoir system in Dyje river basin. The reservoir system consists of four reservoirs: Jevišovice and Výrovice on the Jevišovka River, Vranov and Znojmo on the Dyje River. The HEC-ResSim program was chosen to create the simulation model. The simulation model is aimed at reservoir storage function and the calculation works with the daily step. Real data of individual reservoirs and real flow series of three measuring profiles are used. The first part of work deals with simulation models and reservoir functions in general. Then the used program is described in a greater detail. The second part deals with selected system of reservoirs, watercourses and measuring profiles. There can be found a description of creating the model itself in the selected program in the third part. The description is complemented by selected examples of physical data and management rules. The last fourth part is devoted to a summary of the results, which are again accompanied by selected examples.
Evaluation of Flood Waves in the Upper Part of Jihlava River Basin
Kozel, Tomáš ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis is about construction of forecasting models for prediction of flood flows of systems measuring profile Batelov – Dvorce, Dvorce – Ptáčov and Batelov – Ptáčov on the river Jihlava. For forecasting flood flows were used classic hydrological forecasting models. Another forecasting models contained neural networks. Data for construction of forecasting models were used for years 1960 – 2010. Evaluation was made in the end of thesis. The thesis also containes theoretical line of flood flows volume.
Small water course restoration and its integration to the territorial systems of ecological stability
Blatecká, Markéta ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with hydro-ecological monitoring and evaluation of watercourses using the HEM 2014 methodology - Methodology of monitoring hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses and Methodology of type-specific evaluation of hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses. The methodology is under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment and it responds to the Water Framework Directive. Part of the work is a literary research focused on related topics, especially the revitalization and territorial system of ecological stability. Practical part includes monitoring and evaluation of a small watercourse. For a part of a watercourse there is a designed a plan to improve its condition with integration into the ÚSES.
The influence of forest on the occurrence of N-year flows in the basin
Doleželová, Hana ; Zemanová, Šárka (referee) ; Kozel, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the influence of forest on n-year flows in the catchment near Staré Město pod Landštejnem. The aim of the thesis was to perform a schematization of the selected catchment and to determine the necessary parameters for the selected method, with the help of which the simulation of the rainfall-runoff process was carried out. The simulations were carried out on selected episodes during which the forest characteristics changed due to deforestation. Furthermore, simulations were performed in which the forest vegetation was changed to fields and meadows. Variants where RAIN-6H was used were also simulated. The model was built in the HEC-HMS program, in which the SCS Curve Number, SCS Unit Hydrograph and Muskingum methods were selected for the calculation. In the conclusion of the thesis, the model building and the course of the simulated episodes are summarized. Furthermore, the water retention capacity of the area of interest is evaluated.
Stochastic management of water reservoir storage function
Pruch, David ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Kozel, Tomáš (advisor)
The stochastic control of the reservoir storage function works with a certain number of control flow values with a certain probability distribution. For the requirement of stochastic control of the reservoir storage function, a stochastic prediction model based on the LHS method was compiled. The model works with random processes, which include flow in a specific measurement profile. Stochastic control has the advantage over deterministic control in the possibility of selecting a control for a particular probability scenario. Some deterministic methods as well as some stochastic methods are described very briefly. Furthermore, the thesis describes the procedure for the control of the reservoir storage function using the LHS method. The model was tested on a fictitious reservoar. In conclusion, the best and worst results were selected, which were then compared, so it could be determined which parametrs of calculation was most ideal for driving.
