Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a Company and Proposals for Improvements

This bachelor’s thesis is aimed at assesing the financial situation of Delong Instruments a. s. for the years 2016 to 2019. The first part of the thesis explains the theoretical backround for financial analysis. In the second part, the selected company is presented and then contains caltuations of financial analysis. The last part processes the results of the analytical part and provides its own proposals to improve the economic situation and overall health of the company.

Light Source Controlled by Microcomputer

Light technology is one of the fastest growing technology. By computer controlled light sources many effects usable in variety of industries can be achieved. This thesis deals with the analysis, design and implementation of an embedded system focusing on the control of three-color LED modules by microcomputer. Information about different light source control options is also provided. The final designed product is a light panel with LED modules which are controlled by the Arduino platform.

Information or Manipulation? Czech Media and the Catholic Church."

The thesis "Information or Manipulation? Czech Media and the Catholic Church." characterizes ethical principes of media news, which include truthfulness, impartiality, transparency and verification of information and their relevance to society and respect for human beings. It monitors how media ethics is specified in church documents and professional code of ethics of journalists. Ethical values then compares with news values contains topicality, cultural and geographical proximity and negativity. The work also deals with issues of media manipulation and its methods, including placing of lies and half-truths, myths and stereotypes, abuse, manipulation with the authority and objectivity. Retrieval method was then engaged in the Czech media reporting about the Catholic Church. It refers to issues that raises the news of Česká televize, and which in turn fails. Analysis of the media handling of specific events - the World youth day in Madrid, visiting Pope Benedict XVI in Germany and pilgrimages to St. Wenceslaus in Stara Boleslav - assess the content in terms of the previously stated ethical criteria. The institute of preventive detention: comission, goals and limitations of the new preventive measure

The institute of preventive detention is a new protective measure in our penal law. The theme of this thesis is an analysis of the comission and goals of the new protective measure and focusing on a comparation of theoretical and practical function of this protective measure. The folowing chapters provide the characterization of the preventive detention and its legal framework in the Czech republic. The component part of the thesis is also a description of the preventive detention in a legal framework of other state, concretely Slovakia. At the end of the work there are explicated knowledges obtained during the visit of the Institute for preventive detention Brno. In this chapter not only functional equipment is described but also the compositon of the inmates and employees and their most important competencies. Programms, by which are the medical goals fullfiled are described at the end of the thesis.
