Model of a prefabricated footbridge for teaching
Gaidos, Daniel ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of this thesis was to design a test model of a foot bridge built out of sets of blocks, coupled by prestressing monostrands into one beam. Created model will serve as a test model during the training of machinists on tensioning equipment. Static model for results from load cases was created in Scia Engineering 20.0. Assessment and dimensioning were solved in the MS Excel program. The structure was assessed for the limit state of load-bearing capacity and serviceability. Analysis and calculations are compliant to up-to-date codes and respect the fundamentals of analysis due to limit states.
Frame bridge
Kapsa, Štěpán ; Velešík, Marek (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The work deals with the design of a single-pole frame structure of a road bridge, which is based deeply on piles. Due to the size of the span of 26 m, additionally prestressed cables are designed in the supporting structure. The structure is analyzed by a three-dimensional bar model and assessed for serviceability and load-bearing limit states in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Part of the design is a study of the influence of supporting the computational model and a comparison of the effect of active and resting earth pressure on the structure.
One span tee beam bridge
Lachová, Alžběta ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor Thesis is to design a single span road bridge. The bridge will transfer a road of a S7,5 category over local river. Three possible variations were designed, from which option A will be used for further design and calculations. This bridge is a monolithic single-girder post-prestressed construction with a span of 24 m. The structure has been calculated for the ultimate limit state and the service limit state. The calculations of the load effects were done manually as well as in software Scia Engineer 19.1.
Cable supported bridge
Kolář, David ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is design of a footbridge across a river. The final version, which has been chosen from three designs differentiating in their static behaviour of the structure, is a cable-stayed footbridge. The chosen option is designed as a parabolic monolithic prestressed deck suspended by cables anchored to two cone shaped pylons. The structure is situated perpendicularly to the riverbed and its total length is 57,465 m. Softwares, such as SCIA Egineer 20.0 and MS Excel, were used for the calculations of internal forces and modelling calculation models and its verification by hand. The design of the prestressing force, assessment of utility limit state and serviceability limit state were done by hand according to valid standards and regulations. Partially simplified bearing capacity assessment of the pylons was solved by IDEA StatiCa 9 software and some of the results were verified by hand as well. The thesis disregards stages of construction and prestress losses are estimated.
Prestressed bridge No. 209 over the expressway R2 in Slovakia
Mareček, Tomáš ; Formánek, Ing Martin (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design of the bridge for second class highway S7,5 through speedway R2 in Slovakia. From the three proposed versions the version with unicameral structure was chosen for further detailed analysis. The longitudinal direction of the structure is designed as continuous three fields. The lenght of the spans is 23,1 + 33,0 + 23,1 m. Detailed design of the selected version of the structure of prestressed concrete bridge is processed according to limiting conditions, including consideration of the impact of the progressive construction of the bridge. It is elaborated a detailed structural analysis including drawings and visualization.
Prestressed bridge in Velké Pavlovice
Stloukal, Radim ; Růžička, Stanislav (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to design a bridge construction over the river Trkmanka in the municipality Velké Pavlovice. The superstructure is designed as a prestressed one field slab bridge with the length of 16,85m. As a part of this thesis there is enclosed structural analysis calculated accordingly to ČSN EN 1992-1-1. The load effects were calculated by Scia Engineer and compared with manual calculation. The rest of the calculations are done manually and ocassionally compared to engineering software. The construction has been analysed for the ultimate limit state, serviceability limit state and the stress anchors have been designed.
Concrete flat slab of bathhouse
Novotný, Tomáš ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is concrete flat slab of bathhouse. In the first part the thesis deals with the influence of different types of support and models on the size of bending and torsional moments and on the deflection connected with the moments. The second part addresses the reinforcement design of the slab, lintel and column. Subsequently the serviceability limit state of the slab is assessed.
Reinforced concrete road bridge
Koumar, Jan ; Panáček, Josef (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a reinforced concrete road bridge with one span over the river Oskava in the village Unicov. The bridge will convert road II/449 category S 7.5 / 50. Two shape variants of the cross-section were designed, from which a slab with a trapezoidal cross-section and a considered span of the bridge of 14.00 m was selected for the design and assessment of the load-bearing structure. The internal forces from the applied load were calculated on a slab model in SCIA Engineer 18.1 and compared with a manual calculation on a bar model using the method of resistive widths. The load-bearing structure is dimensioned for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state.
Slab bridge near Staré Město village
Tlamka, Tomáš ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The main aim of this Bachelor thesis is the design of new perpendicular bridge over the Krupá river. The design of the bridge is according to ČSN EN 1992 – 2. The content of the work is primarily of the design supporting structure of the one - span bridge, which is designed in three variants. The selected option consists of additionally prestressed slab of height 800 mm with a length of 21,54 m. Statically is designed as support the storage bridge with a length of 19,00 m. This object converts communications category S 7,5. Load effects were performed using calculation software SCIA ENGINEER 2014. All loads and assessment at the ultimate limit state and limit state are solved according to specific standards.
