Piano play in the musicality development and in activities of musc-movements

The main theme of this diploma thesis is the development of musicality and musical movement activities through piano compositions of children at the younger school age. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part is based on ontogenetic, physiological and psychological patterns of this period. Furthermore, it deals with the means of musicality influence of the child and at the end of this part the relationship of piano music and movement is described and the basic musical movement activities and their important aspects are listed. The second part of the thesis, which is a practical part with the choice of qualitative research approach, is based on these theoretical findings. The practical part deals with piano compositions and their content for movement expression. Objectives, research questions, methods and research techniques are identified. Three pieces by P. Eben and Dreaming by Schumann were chosen for the research. Before each musical movement activity, appropriate motivation was chosen and training exercises were included. Each song is focused on a variety of issues where children can better understand issues in the songs. Deepening of health principles and sanitary habits of pre-school children through musical activities

This Bachelor thesis will emphasize the importance of health principles and sanitary habits through for musical activities of pre-school children. As means of deepening of health principles and sanitary habits will be used both original songs and poems composed from three perspectives: psychological (adequacy in terms of the character of perception and level of psychological characteristics), artistic (adequacy of instrumentation and rhytmic-melodic structure in terms of possibilities of musical expression of pre-school children), and ethical (creating attitudes as relatively permanent values of a forming personality). The research will be carried out using a sample of 5 to 6 year-old children in an ordinary kindergarten participating in a musical performance. It will be evaluated based on empirical validation. The effectivity of the research will be deepened by observing children and interviews with the children's parents. At the end, the author of the thesis will summarize the most important experience and propose ideas for musical-pedagogical practice. Folk groups in Horácko and their effect on child's interest in folk song

A thesis Folk groups in Horácko and their influence on the child's interest in folk song follows my bachelor thesis Folk song in Horácko and its use in school and out of school activities of children. The aim of this thesis is to determine the effect of the folk groups on the children's interest in regional folk song and to create a set of worksheets and teachers sheets, which may help teachers to teach about regional culture. The first part of the thesis deals with maping and a brief characteristic of child folk groups in Horácko, their location, number of children in primary school age and a chracteristic of music and textual side of folk songs. The second part is an analysis of questionnaire construction in elementary schools in region Horácko, specifically in region Vysočina, which is dominant for this ethnographic region. It focuses on the research whether there is a folk group, whether children can attend folk group in their surroundings and what effect that has on the perception of regional folk song, their knowledge, favor or tolerance. The last part includes worksheets for children and methodical sheets for teachers that are thematicaly focussed on individual parts of the year. The Artistic Contribution of the Musical Component of Libuše Kurková's Pedagogical Work in the System of Music and Movement Education ABSTRACT The dissertation The Artistic Contribution of the Musical Component of Libuše Kurková's Pedagogical Work in the System of Music and Movement Education is a musical theoretical and musical pedagogical reflection, dealing first of all with the compositions by contemporary Czech authors linked with Libuše Kurková's choreographies. It is a musical component of movement games, dance choreographies, book publications and methodical manuals, radio programs for children, artistic documents, etc. It highlights the typical features of Libuše Kurková's pedagogical work, its novelty and its originality. It shows that she was ahead of her time, anticipating current musical pedagogical theories and conclusions from the research in the relation between music and movement. The dissertation brings the musical analysis of Zdeněk Lukáš's unpublished manuscripts. Of course, it also focuses on published compositions of the whole musical component of Libuše Kurková's work (P. Eben, Z. Lukáš, J. N. Music Perception Projects in Pre-School Education

The aim of this thesis is to verify the effectiveness of children's listening activities in the preschool period from five to six years of age, to introduce the utilization of methodology connected with listening to the music by Jaroslav Herden in terms of preschool education, and to demonstrate the importance of motivation and integrative activities for the development of attention together with the overall harmonious development of children. In the theoretical part, I analyse the input of music into the consciousness of children in terms of basic psychological features and functions which are important for perception. I introduce basic musical abilities, particularly musical creativity and imagination. The theoretical part is concluded with the clarification of basic means of expression and shape features, which are important not only for the music perception as such, but also the music perception in an ontogenetic context. Moreover, I also present the philosophy of educational thinking concerning the listening activities proposed by Professor Jaroslav Herden. In the practical part, I introduce a comprehensive authorial project involving the methodology of Jaroslav Herden's music tailored to children who are aged from five to six years.
