Design and measurement of a small induction motor
Fišer, Jan ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and measurement of a small induction motor. The introduction describes a structure and an operating principle of the induction motor. The following part deals with analytical calculation of three-phase induction motor‘s properties. Next are executed an analytical calculations and a finite element method calculations by the Maxwell software. In the end are these calculations compared with results from measurement.
Simulation of electric machines
Klíma, Jiří ; Mišinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling and simulations of DC and AC machines. They were created by four mathematical models. Three models of DC motors with different type of excitation (compound, serial, derivative) and one model for asynchronous motor. All models were implemented in MATLAB & Simulink. After measuring and setting the basic parameters of the machines, simulations were running. Simulation results are then compared with measured waveforms.
Determination of the temperature reactivity coefficient for Nuclear power plant Dukovany
Klíma, Jakub ; Bajgl, Josef (referee) ; Raček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the re-determination of the temperature reactivity coefficient of the Nuclear power plant Dukovany, which is measured within the physical test Reheating of the cooling to 260 °C. This paper contains description of the types of nuclear reactors launching, list of tests which are performed during these startings and it also describes methods for determination of temperature reactivity coefficient. Last part of this thesis includes description of programme which was created for determining temperature reactivity coefficient from given files and verification of its calculating methods by statistical test.
Thermovision of photovoltaic modules authomatic analysis
Klíma, Jakub ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with diagnostics of photovoltaic panels especially with infrared diagnostics. There are described defects which we can examine using thermovision and also this thesis explains the cause of their formation. Practical part deals with the design of the program that automatically detects defects on infrared images.
Measurement uncertainty in developmental testing of circuit-breakers and their accessories
Klíma, Jaroslav ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on direct and indirect uncertainty of measurement for development testing of circuit breakers. The goal is size of uncertainty of performance and create solution for better quality of measurement. Practical part compare calculated value with measured value and define expanded uncertainty of indirect measurement of performance.
Optimizing design of electric machines
Šporcr, Viktor ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Semester theses focus on optimisation methods useful for construction electric machines. Contain elementary sorting optimization methods and brief description of their algorithms. In these theses is foreshadow how shape of asynchronous stator core should be optimized for better effectivity. Next chaps are discuss about application optimization methods to concrete induction motor.
Application of the multi-axis milling of a shaped part
Klíma, Jiří ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the design and production technology of making pattern and core box by milling. The theoretical part summarizes the issue of production models, CAD / CAM technology and milling technology. The practical part is elaborates engineering design of machined parts focused on the specific requirements for application in the foundry. For designing of milling technology was used CAM system. This milling technology was programmed and optimized. Parts are finally produced on 3-axis milling machine. In the end there is technical-economic evaluation of production and discussion of results.
Deep drilling of an aeronautical part
Klíma, Jan ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with problems about deep drilling of aeronautical part made of aluminum alloy EN AW 7075 T7351. This work is focused on the material properties component and current aluminum alloys processing. Further it contains a part delicated to various kinds of technologies of deep drilling, primarily is focused to gun drilling. Describes a tool, technology and conditions in gun drilling of deep holes with focused to analysis of the forces. Then it compares contemporary manufacturing technology of part drilling in cooperation and proposes an innovative technology of manufacturing. This project is accomplished with technical-economical evaluation.
Computational modelling of function of human vocal folds
Klíma, Jaromír ; Vašek, Martin (referee) ; Švancara, Pavel (advisor)
Master thesis deals with creating of the numerical model of the human vocal folds. Calculation algorithm is designed to include vocal chordsinteraction with the air flow. Analysis of the results achieved by the numerical simulations and calculations are focused on the pressure and velocity conditions in the areas under vocal folds, between vocal folds and above vocal folds. Movement and stress analysis of individual layers of vocal folds has been made. This analysis is limited only for physiological health vocal folds without pathology and disease. Modal analysis of structural and acoustic environment, backround research of vocal folds function and summary of some published overviews of numerical models is part of this work.
Binocular vision and anaglyph production
Klíma, Jindřich ; Jehlička, Karel (referee) ; Fedra, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my semester work was to study the physiology of binocular vision for spatial perception of two-dimensional images using glasses with coloured filters, anaglyphs. Since the theme concerns the visual sense, I explained the principle of the vision first. Then I described the principle of physiological development of the vision and the assumptions about binocular vision. The binocular vision is a complex process ongoing in the brain. Therefore, another topic of my thesis was an analysis of three-dimensional objects, space analysis, which unknowingly takes place in our brain. The next chapter deals with stereoscopy, technology which evokes a feeling of depth in two-dimensional images. One of the techniques is obtaining spatial perception by means of glasses with colour filters. In my thesis, I summarized the knowledge about the principle of anaglyphs and I described the principle of obtaining anaglyphs, from shooting the scene, over its creation to its viewing. Finally, here is an example of the program created in Matlab. It is a simple program to obtain anaglyphs from two separate frames.
