Tourism Chosen Destination in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis analyzes the tourism in the specific destination. In this case, the work is focused on the micro-region Podblanicko. The first part describes general terms regarding the basic concepts of tourism, its evolution and types. Another part characterizes the micro-region, its location and what possibilities it offers for tourism. It also focuses on cultural and historical monuments of the destination and provides an overview of accommodation and eating establishments. The last part of the thesis is focused on the current situation in the micro-region, the analysis is performed by using a survey and its subsequent evaluation provides an overall assessment and recommendations which could help to increase attendance and attractiveness of the destination.
Consumer behavior in sport and a healthy diet

This bachelor thesis deals with consumer behaviour in an area of sport and healthy diet. The aim of this thesis is an identification of basic aspects of consumer behavior in the described area. In the thesis is also described the problematics of consumers behavior, there are mentioned factors affecting this kind of consumers and there is also described supply of the products and information about producers and distributors. For achieving the goal was done a survey. Analyzed results discute the problematics of the consumer behavior, their preferences and factors affecting them. Based on the survey were formulated recommendations for producers and distributors of sport and healthy nutrition.
Usage of the product in school canteens

The thesis is focused on the consumer interest in a new product on the market, for this purpose, freshly chopped apples in a hygienic bag with a shelf life of 12 days. The aim of this thesis is to determine whether school representatives will show interest in this product or not. The methodology of the work itself involves the creation and evaluation of two questionnaire surveys, which were attended by 69 school representatives and 116 parents of children aged 3 to 15 years. The results of the survey have shown that these schools cannot offer children fresh, washed, hygienically prepared fruit, designated for direct consumption on field-trips, sporting events, etc., hence they would be willing to buy this new product for children in schools. The questionnaire survey, which concerned children's parents, showed that parents do not find the offer of fruit and healthy food in schools sufficient and they would like this product to be sold mostly in school cafeterias and snack machines.
Purchasing behavior of consumers preferring veganism

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of food consumption behavior in connection with vegan food preferences. This thesis characterizes the influence veganism has on purchasing behavior, captures the vegan food market growth, reviews the range of vegan food in Czech Republic (concretely the range of plant-based meat and meat products altenatives, non-dairy milk and milk products altenatives) and the retail supply. Survey research is used to detect basic consumer behavior aspects of vegans and non-vegans, to compare differences between these consumers and to identify their demand for specific vegan foods.
Trend assessment of foreign trade with selected commodities after Czech Republic entry to EU

This thesis deals with the evaluation and development trend of the foreign trade of timber before and after the Czech Republic joined the European Union, merging the theoretical foundations to ensure understanding of the problems and analyzing data for exports and imports of raw wood for fifteen years. Using annual reports from the Ministry of Agriculture, accurate analysis has been achieved in foreign trade and evaluation of the causes of growth and decline caused by external or internal action. In the end a statistical prediction of the future trend of foreign trade was established.
Consumer preferences when using wellness services

Currently, the demand for welness services is growing which is associated with increasing competition and greater demands to keep the company on the market. To increase competiveness contributes to provide quality services that reflect the needs of customers. The aim of this thesis is to identify preferences and behaviour of customers who use welness services. Through the questionnaire survey among the visitors of a particular sauna center there are examined preferences which influence the choice of customers, their motivation and reasons and frequency of visit. In conclusion, there are formulated recommendations for the particular sauna center which are resulting from the survey results.
Preferences and consumer behavior when purchasing food for vegetarians

Bachelor thesis "Preferences and consumer behavior when purchasing food for vegetarians" discusses how interest in a healthy lifestyle influences consumer preferences and behavior. The aim is to compare these preferences and consumer behavior for vegetarians and traditional consumers. The theoretical part is prepared on the basis of data obtained from the literature and practical part is based on data collected through a questionnaire survey, which was conducted both for vegetarians and for traditional consumers. The results show that vegetarians are shopping more in specialized stores and traditional consumers prefer hypermarkets and supermarkets. Vegetarians are more interested in a healthy lifestyle and both groups maintain a healthy lifestyle for health reasons. Vegetarians and traditional consumers are also influenced by the impact of products on the environment and on products increasingly follow the label.
The perception of a healthy lifestyle and its impact on consumer behaviour

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the perception of healthy lifestyle and its impact on consumer behaviour. The methodology of thesis includes a survey of two distinctive groups of consumers. In this thesis were used basic statistical methods of investigation. The first part (theoretical part) deals with theoretical, approach the topic healthy lifestyle and basic concepts of health, healthy lifestyle and a healthy diet, but also the behavior and motivations of consumers. This thesis was undertaken on the basis of studying literature. The practical part deals with the results of the survey. The main objective is to find out how to consult on a healthy lifestyle and how to eat two different groups of consumers. The first group is the customers of health food store. The second one is customers of fast food restaurants. Finally, thesis is characterized on the basis of socio-demographic data, both groups of consumers.
Cost comparisons of differentiated meals approaches in selected regional kindergarten

The Bachelor Thesis focuses on application of two approaches in the cooking of the same model menu using differing raw material and foods in the selected kindergarten. This Project Cooking is performed by the Kindergarten Val in its school canteen. The aim of the Thesis is to identify the differences in costs of the two approaches to cooking and catering, define the financial differences and perform a survey among parents to discover if they are interested in either catering type even if the price increases. The Method of the Thesis consists of production of two menus including the same items in accordance with meals recommended by Consumer Basket (menu regulation for kindergarten and school kitchens and canteens). Then the cooking costs are calculated for either menu and the analyses also include evaluation of the survey made among parents who show their will to pay higher price for fresh local foods.
The consumer and a purchase of organic food in the selected region

The bachelor paper characterizes organic farming and the organic food market in the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to compare behaviours of consumers of Central Bohemia Region and Prague, and inquiry on the subject was carried out in both the given regions. Results of the inquiry were processed in Microsoft Excel and compared. In the analytical part, results of the inquiry are confronted with academic publications. As well there are suggestions offered to the organic food producers and distributors of the Czech Republic concerning improvement of their roles on the food market.
