In the theoretical part of my dissertation, I am focusing on the fundamentals of the classroom climate, the social relationships in the classroom, and the pupil's self- assessment within the context of the classroom. The practical part includes research as a comparison of the classroom climate and the relations between the pupils and the teachers in a particular fourth and fifth grade at the primary school when transferring to the upper primary school.

The principle of subsidiarity of criminal law

Summary: Counsel in the Criminal Proceedings The objective of my thesis is to describe the position of a defense counsel during a criminal procedure and analyze the currently valid law governing the counsel's position in the criminal proceedings, and how is law applied in real life and also describe duties and obligations of defense counsel. I choose this topic, because during studies of criminal law I was intrigued by the complexity of criminal trial a by the role of the defense counsel in it. I wanted to gain deeper knowledge of rights and obligations of the defense counsel and research limits of criminal defense. Fair trial is considered as one of the fundamental basics of democratic state. The objective of criminal trial is to reach a proper and rightful verdict as a result of fair trial. Criminal trial could be considered fair only if both sides, the defendant and the prosecutor, are both provided with equal rights. Defendant is often a person without thorough legal knowledge and thus is considered to be in disadvantaged position. As opposed to prosecutor, defendant finds himself in new, unknown position, and his basic rights and his future life are endangered. Development of the phonological and morphological abilities of children before the school age.

The thesis is focused on predictors of reader´s abilities as factors influencing the development of readers literacy. At pre-school age is possible to identify the risks for further development of reader´s abilities. It is necessary to focus on individual areas of perceptual motor and cognitive functions that make initial reading successful or not. An important predictors are phonological skills. This area is, however, greatly influenced by language orthography. In the Czech language (transparent orthography characterized by the closeness of written and spoken form of speech) morphological abilities play a significant role. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the risks for further developmentof reader´s abilities and to indicate the possibilities for reducing these risks by systematic work with children in ordinary nursery school. The theoretical part is focused on children at pre-school age, the individual areas of perceptual motor and cognitive functions which influence the initial skills. Theoretical part also explains concepts of school maturity and readiness. In the experimental part, two groups of children at pre-school age will be investigated and chosen variables (phonologicaland morphological abilities) will be monitored. There will be additional work with the first group, the second group (control group) will not be influenced in any way. The two groups will be compared and differences will be determined.

Systemic inflammatory and immune response in the treatment of tumor diseases

Systémová a zánětlivá imunitní odpověď při léčbě nádorových onemocnění Imunitní a zánětlivá odpověď je organizmem rozvíjena při každém vnitřním či vnějším inzultu, proto hraje významnou úlohu také při vzniku, růstu a terapii karcinomů. Neméně důležitým mechanismem je oxidační stres. Snížená hladina vitamínu E a A koreluje se zvýšenou hladinou markerů systémového zánětu u pokročilých karcinomů a je špatným prognostickým faktorem. Neopterin je produkován z guanosin - trifosfátu aktivovanými makrofágy v reakci katalyzované GTP - cyklohydrolázou I a je jedním z biomarkerů imunitní odpovědi a reprezentuje molekulu asociovanou s antioxidační rovnováhou. Jeho vysoká koncentrace je asociována se špatnou prognózou maligního onemocnění Karcinomy ORL oblasti jsou relativně časté nádory s vysokou mortalitou. V jejich léčbě jsou uplatňovány multimodální přístupy. Tato intenzivní léčba indukuje řadu specifických akutních i pozdních nežádoucích účinků, které zhoršují kvalitu života nejen v průběhu léčby, ale i po ní. Poznatky o neopterinu, retinolu a - tokoferolu u pacientů s karcinomem ORL oblasti jsou velmi omezené. U nemocných s karcinomy ORL oblasti byl měřen neopterin v moči, retinol a - tokoferol v séru pomocí HPLC. Vysoká hladina neopterinu v moči a nízká hladina retinolu v séru predikovala špatnou...

Nurses registration - history, present.

The focus of this thesis was nurses' registration by the act no. 96/2004 and lifelong learning credit system. The main objectives of the work were to describe the legislative changes and to compare the conditions of nurses' registration in the Czech Republic and abroad. The necessity to amend certain articles of the above mentioned law, which has now been in force for three years, implies the utmost importance of this topic. The research part of the project quantitatively evaluates nurses' opinion about and experience with the established registration system. The aim of the study has been to test established hypotheses by comparing different opinions on the subject. The data may serve as groundwork to future research projects and can be used to support the need to amend the legislatures in question.
