Gajdoš, Adam ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the development of software for automated design frequency filters using active elements instead of inductors. The first part deals with the allocation of frequency filers by transmitted specrum and type of components used. It also deals with working mode in the circuit. Thesis also focuses on the description developmet environment in Wolfram Mathematica, and overall development and also advantages. The next chapter is devoted to the theoretical description of the program and all the necessary theoretical provisions, that are needed to manage the program, i.e. description modified nodal analysis, replacement of MOSFET transistor for Voltage Controlled Current Source and writing passive elements in programming language too. The last chapter is dedicated to the development of the program and detailed description.
Electronically reconfigurable frequency filters
Gajdoš, Adam ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was design of reconnection-less and electronically reconfigurable filters of SISO type with non-traditional active elements. Adjustability of bandwidth or quality factor is also required. First part of the thesis deals with theoretical analysis of filters, their operation modes and design of frequency filters using Signal-flow graph method aswell. Last but not least, electronical reconfiguration of transfer function and parasitic analysis was discussed. Another part describes active elements used in the practical part of thesis. Behaviors and design of active elements using existing circuits (e.g. UCC,EL2082) are described and their transformation into the Signal-flow graph form too. In the practical part five reconnection-less and reconfigurable filters of SISO type was designed using SNAP program. Simulations were done using Orcad program with ideal and real simulation models of active elements. Last part deals with filter design in EAGLE and experimental measurement.
Steam Turbine for the Waste to Energy
Gajdoš, Adam ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the design of the condensing steam turbine with power output 23.63 MW at 5000 rpm and an efficiency of 84.17% after optimization. The turbine contains one controlled steam extraction and four bleeds. The steam mass flow required by controlled steam extraction is 0-75 t/h of a total mass flow to the turbine 105 t/h. Design of the steam turbine is preceded by calculation of heat balance of the cycle. Then the thermodynamic and strength calculation of regulation stage and reaction staging flow channel are made. Thermodynamic calculation of the flow channel consists of preliminary and detailed calculation. It is detailed calculation that leads to the turbine parameters optimization. The design also includes gland sealing system and balance piston calculation. In addition to the strength calculation there is bearings load calculation included. In the end, the consumption diagram is made, showing the interval by which the turbine can be safely operated. Integrated part of the thesis is conceptual drawing of steam turbine section.
Design of frequency filters with non-traditional transconductance elements
Gajdoš, Adam ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of Bachelor’s thesis was to study, design and practically realize controllable frequency filters, working in the current mode, using non-traditional active elements, containing a combination of transconductance amplifiers with current conveyors. Thesis deals in the theoretical part with the basic division of frequency filters, operating modes of circuits and design method of signal flow graphs, which are used for design of the circuits in the practical part. The next section describes all the active elements that are used for circuits realization. In the practical part five circuits are designed with the element VDCC and one circuit with CCTA. Simulation is performed on all circuits using a previously defined model of the real UCC. Last part of thesis describes the design of the PCB and the results of experimental measurements for chosen circuit.
Liability for damage caused by a defective product
Gajdoš, Adam ; Švestka, Jiří (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
114 Resume - Liability for Defective Products (Product Liability) This study deals with the subject of product liability law. This is a growing area in which manufacturers and suppliers are finding themselves more and more responsible for the quality of their products and for the consequences flowing from any defects therein. There is a growing amount of litigation throughout the world tackling the problems arising from the safety of products. These laws take into account the manufacturing process, the transportation, storage and delivery of goods, the intended use of products, their fitness for such purpose, and any warning or instructions as to use given to consumers and end- users. Injuries caused by products began to give rise to serious policy concerns in the second half of the 20th century, when the combined effect of increasingly sophisticated consumer products automated large-scale production processes and modern distribution chains left the end-user in a difficult position. The end-user was purchasing a product not from the manufacturer directly, but from a retailer who might stand a number of steps away from the manufacturer in the distribution chain. The complex processes of product development and manufacture were internal to the manufacturer and thus unknown to the end-user and probably to the...
Perovskite Solar Cells Fabrication With Passivation Effect Of High Mobitity Phenothiazine-Based Hole Transport Layer
Gajdos, Adam
Perovskite solar cells are today one of the hottest topics in photovoltaic devices. Compared to traditional c-Si, thin-film CIGS or CdTe solar cells, the fabrication of this type of solar cell is much cheaper, because production does not require ownership of a very expensive equipment and instrumentation. However, it has to be taken into account it has some initial issues as well as other newly developed technologies in the early stages of preparation for a commercial production. This paper deals with a newly synthesized hole transport material as a replacement of commercially available high-cost Spiro-OMETAD transport material. This commercial material has two main issues. Firstly, its production is very expensive and secondly it does not perform a function of a passivation layer for a sensitive perovskite layer. Our newly developed molecule has a positive effect on achieving long-term stable perovskite along with much cheaper production. The produced perovskite solar cell does not achieve highest power conversion efficiency, but they still look promising inf the view of long-term consistent performance.

Silicon Solar Cell Parameters Change After Focused Ion Beam Milling
Gajdos, Adam
Silicon is still one of the most used materials for fabrication of solar cells. Some imperfections and defects may appear during production process. These local imperfections could be eliminated by focused ion beam (FIB). Nevertheless, FIB milling process modifies the crystal structure of the material by ions implantation. Samples under investigation are monocrystalline silicon solar cells. The impact of FIB milling is shown and discussed through current-voltage measurement before and after milling process.
