A commented translation: Half a Life. Short Testimonies from a Work Environment at the Turning Point.

The thesis includes the translation of a part of the article Ein halbes Leben. Vier Kurzporträts aus einer Arbeitswelt im Umbruch from the German magazine Aus Politik und Zeitgeschichte. In the form of an interview it describes the working life of four individual people. A commentary consisting of four parts follows after the translation. The first part is the analysis of the extratextual factors, the second part is the analysis of the intratextual factors. In the third part I deal with the translation problems and their solutions. Analysis of physicians' motivation for treatment and self-treatment with homeopathic medicines in the Czech Republic

ANALYSIS OF PHYSICIANS' MOTIVATION FOR TREATMENT AND SELF-TREATMENT WITH HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC Student: Formánková, M. Tutor: Marešová, H. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: This diploma thesis presents a continuation of the study of Eva Křivská who dealed with this topic in various regions of the Czech Republic. I was interested in the opinion of the physicians in the three selected towns of the Czech Republic. Aim: The aim was to identify an attitude of the physicians to the homeopathic method of treatment. I tried to discover their opinion and to find out if they perform practical application of homeopathy. I was interested in what attitude appears in the other physicians, pharmacists and the patients as well. Methods: The goal directed investigation with the physians of different specializations was performed in the three towns of the Czech Republic (Kolín, Poděbrady, Hradec Králové). A questionnaire method was used, 78 physicians participated. The final file was screened by the frequency analysis. Russian-Chinese Relations at the Turn of the 20th and 21st centuries

Práce pojednává o vývoji a současném stavu rusko-čínských vztahů. V první části stručně shrnuje historický vývoj vztahů zhruba od konce 19.století do rozpadu SSSR. Hlavní část práce se pak věnuje období od 90.let 20.století do současnosti a předkládá i možné varianty do budoucnosti. Největší pozornost je věnována politickým vztahů, ať již bilaterálním, tak v rámci mezinárodních organizací (RB OSN a zejména Šanghajská organizace spolupráce), dále pak vztahům ekonomickým.
