Effect of sporting activity on the risk of burnout in nurses working in intensive care

Master thesis is dealing with the influence of sport activity at burnout among nurses working in intensive care and resuscitation. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the empirical part. In the theoretical part we deal with burnout, its risk factors, symptoms and preventive measures. Other chapters are devoted to sports, primarily focused on the influence of sports activities on psychological stress and burnout. We also describe the possibilities of introducing sport activities to the workplaces. The main goal of our work is to determine whether there exists a relationship between sport activity and the risk of burnout. The research was carried out with the use of a quantitative questionnaire survey, which consisted of two parts. The first part contained questions related to burnout and was conducted using a validated MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory) questionnaire. The second part contained questions related to the leisure sports activities of nurses. Within Všeobecná fakultní nemocnice in Prague, Malvazinky rehabilitation clinic, hospital Mělník, Tanvald, Sedlčany and Neratovice were distributed 298 questionnaires to the nurses working on the resuscitation or intensive care departments. In this bachelor thesis is processed state of organic agriculture and production of organic food in a Vyskov district. It is informing about a condition of organic agriculture in the Czech republic, its characteristics and history. Futhermore, it is also specifying agricultural conditions in a South Moravian Region. This thesis is focussed on theVyskov district, which has been compared to other districts of South Moravian Region. Also was inquired availability of organic production and were presented two organic farms implementing SWOT analysis.

Comparison of Sign Language Interpreters'Education Systems in the Czech Republic and the Great Britain

The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of sign language interpreters' education systems in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The objective is a comparison of possibilities, availability and quality of sign language interpreters' education in said countries. The thesis attempts to evaluate and define the main differences between the systems and subsequent submission of possible changes for the sign language education system in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part briefly describes the basic concepts and terminology in connection to hearing impairment that is relevant for the topic, the specifics of the Czech Sign Language, British Sign Language and International Sign as well as the comparison of sign language interpreters' education in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The research part is processed by quantitative research, specifically in the form of an anonymous survey and concentrates on the analysis of the current situation through the eyes of the interpreters themselves. The thesis output is an evaluation of the survey together with the submission of proposals for possible modifications of the current czech sign language interpreters' educational system in the Czech Republic.

Establishment and statue of Senate in political system of the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis describes the role of the Senate of the Czech Republic in the Czech political system, the development of the Upper Chamber from its first negotiation to its establishment and further functioning. Historical development of the political system in the Czech Republic and the history of the Senate is presented in the first place. In the following part the contemporary political system, its division and election system of both chambers of Parliament of the Czech Republic are described for better comprehension. Our country as a member of the EU expresses its opinions about European issues, therefore I will also look into the role of the Senate in the international affairs. Main part of the thesis describes circumstances of establishment, origin of the contemporary Senate of the Czech Republic and its possible reforms.

Segmentation of the facial care market

The main goal of the Master's Thesis is to discover significant differences in consumers' behaviour. Based on these differences it determinates and describes the segmenents of consumers. An important goal is to design marketing strategies for these segments as well. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the explanation of the segmentation process. The analytical part covers the characteristics of the Czech facial care market and the analysis of the Market&Media&Lifestyle data. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the process of segmentation using questionares and the IBM SPSS Statistics programme. The output of the thesis reveals three segments of the market and suggests relevant marketing strategies for them.
