Physics experiments incorporated into the story - didactic material for teachers

The main goal of this thesis is to create an educational program suitable for inclusion in the teaching of elementary school pupils. The material provided should serve as a tool for teachers, for developing scientific thinking in their pupils and as a support in their teaching of natural sciences in this level of education. The material consists of a story, which connects several science experiments, instruction on how to perform the experiments, and work sheets. Part of the thesis is also feedback from educators on the program O podstatě magie (About the nature of magic) created as a part of author's bachelors thesis. Based on this feedback the author created the program O magické bouři (About the magical storm) presented in this work. The main part of the thesis are didactic sheets and worksheets accompanying each experiment connected by a fairy tale story. Another important part of the work is feedback received to this second program, based on which further changes to the program were made. Integral part of the thesis is the authors description of realisation of the created program in elementary school and feedback from the pupils, who were part of this realisation.

Viniculture and wine-production from the legal point of view

The title of the thesis is "Viticulture and winemaking from the legal point of view". The purpose of my thesis is to analyze the Czech legislation of viticulture and winemaking. It is important to include the law of the European Union because it directly regulates the national legislation. The aim of this thesis is to give a complex insight into the valid viticulture and winemaking law. The thesis is composed of seven chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the topic. The first chapter is introduction and provides only starting point of the thesis such as terminology. Chapter two is subdivided into six parts and surveys historical background of viticulture and winemaking in the Czech Republic. Each part is devoted to one important era starting in antiquity and explores the evolution till current situation. Chapter Three shows viticulture and winemaking law in the context of the Czech legal system and highlights links between mentioned law and environmental policy. Chapter Four characterizes current EU legislation and focuses on regulations concerning common agricultural policy in the sphere of viticulture and winemaking. Electrical installation in apartment buildings

Bachelor thesis describes wiring system in apartment buildings. Theoretical part deals with legislation, main house conduit, wiring materials, heavy and low current, and also with Smart Homes. In this thesis, there is also an analytical part which is applied to specified building. In this section we have calculation for specific cable, design of wiring materails and calculation of the annual electric energy consumption. Third part includes project with technical report and attachment with drawings.

The category of competence and its interpretation by teachers in practice

This dissertation deals with issues related to the realization of the concept of key competencies as educational goals which are being brought about by curricular reform. The theoretical component is aimed at researching the way key competencies are treated in the relevant literature and in European and Czech curricular documents. This section deals with the conception and implementation of key competencies in national educational programs in the EU countries. Various procedures in these countries are compared and evaluated in relation to curricular reforms in the Czech Republic and in conjunction with the interpretation of key competencies in the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education. The research component of the dissertation focuses on mapping out the understanding of key competencies on the part of the ‚main players' of curricular reform (teachers, teacher trainers, school inspectors) whose responsibility it is to bring this new concept into pedagogical practice.

The use of a story connected with physical experiments in teaching at elementary school

The goal of this bachelor thesis is creating a methodological material for primary school science educationalists. The thesis contains a research on materials about physics experiments for primary school pupils. The main part of the thesis is a story including five experiments for the children to partake in. There is a methodological sheet for the teachers for each experiment enriched with instructions and practical comments and worksheets consisting of diverse exercises to deepen and broaden the knowledge gained during the experiment performed in school. An integral part of the thesis is also a description of the testing of the story and feedback from the children.
