The role of special educationalist at the grammar school
DOUBKOVÁ, Lucie
The presented bachelor thesis is devoted to the topic of special pedagogue at school directly from the point of view of special pedagogues working at primary schools. The main goal of the work was to describe the role of a special pedagogue at a primary schools, to analyze its scope of work and to describe the position of a special pedagogue in a pedagogical team at a primary school. Qualitative research, method of questioning and technique of semi-controlled interview were used to achieve the goal of this work. I decided to set three research questions. All of these questions were focused on the activities performed by a special pedagogue; on the target group special pedagogue works with and on the position that special pedagogue occupies in the pedagogical team. The research samples were determined to be special pedagogues working at primary schools in Prague and in Pilsen. There were seven respondents in the interview. The obtained information pieces of information were evaluated using open coding and presented in the form of data categorization. The results of the research show that the role of school special pedagogues in primary schools is perceived by members of the pedagogical team as beneficial, even as indispensable. The information obtained from respondents is largely lined up with the literature and legislation concerning special pedagogues and educators. Interviews with respondents helped to gain a deeper insight into the activities that special pedagogues perform at primary schools and what problems they might be facing during their work. The results of this work can bring vital information about this position to students who would like to become special pedagogues at school. Furthermore, this work can be not only useful for the public, who will learn more about the role of the special pedagogue, but also gain insight into pedagogue's activities and can outline the possibilities that arise for them, if this position is established in their primary school.
Comparison of the size of scoliosis curve in patients with idiopathic scoliosis from x-ray picture and rasterstereography record
Bilinkiewiczová, Eva ; Lepšíková, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Doubková, Lucie (referee)
Scoliosis is defined as a patological curvature of spinal cord of more than 10ř in frontal plane which is combined with rotation of vertebral bodies and also with disruption of fyziological curvatures in sagittal plane. Idiopathic scoliosis is the most frequent type of this diagnosis. The thesis deals with overal issue of this disease, theories of etiology, incidence, classification, types of examination, possibilities of new testing and therapy. The practical part describes rasterstereographic DIERS Formetric III 4D testing and coparison with RTG examination. The study was carried out with 17 girls and 1 boy with idiopathic scoliosis 11 - 46ř at the age of 11 - 17 years. Results of this testing were statistically analysed. Best results were found out in measurements by automatically set range for a group of patients with Cobb angle ≤ 25ř - for 95% differences the limits of correspondance were ± 4ř, the average error was 0,3ř. For group of all patients the limits of correspondance were ± 14ř, the average error was 1,5ř. The results confirmed, that with an increase of Cobb ange a bigger error and systematic error appears.
Influence of defferent kinds of running shoes on stability and risk of injury in long - distance runners
Krchová, Zuzana ; Čakrt, Ondřej (advisor) ; Doubková, Lucie (referee)
The main problems concerning birth of running injuries is their unclear ethiopathogenesis and high frequency. Injuries are often lined with forces affected on tread-down which have to be defused by running shoes. There are also opinions that currently used footwear can cause injuries on the contrary. This work explores impact of particular types of running shoes for influencing of stability. Methods: There are compared two groups of runners: minimalists and classic runners. Their stability is examined with help of posturography in three versions: barefoot, classic and minimalistic footwear. Thereafter there is analyzed relation among stability, used footwear, training usage and frequency of injuries. Results: Minimalists and classic runners have the same stability while they are barefoot. Usage of footwear does not cause significant deterioration of stability in any of groups. Nevertheless most of runners subjectively evaluate the variant of testing barefoot as the simplest. There is more frequent occurence of flat foot among classic runners in comparison with minimalists. Flat foot increases risk of formation injuries, on the contrary, regular compensation motion activity decreases this risk.

Bibliografic identification BESTOVÁ, Zuzana. The effect of The Feldenkrais method on body schema. Prague: Charles University in Prague, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Department of rehabilitation and exercise medicine, 2012. 96 pages. Supervisor Mgr. Magdaléna Lepšíková. Abstract The diploma thesis deals with neurophysiological concept of body schema and evaluation of the effect of the Feldenkrais method (FM) on its quality. The research comprises two groups of probands without motor system disorders. The participants passed an investigation of the body schema quality by the following tests: a test of estimation of body dimensions (width of mouth, width of shoulders, width of hips and length of foot), a modification of Petrie's test, a test of proprioception and a test of graphestesia. The examination was accomplished before FM investigation and after the course. The first group (group A) comprised 13 individuals (5 males, 8 females) who participated in a semestral course of FM, the second group of probands (group B) included 17 individuals (3 males, 14 females) underwent a two days long FM program. A significant improvement (p = 0,0027) in the estimation of the length of foot was detected after FM intervention in group B. There was not a significant improvement in any of estimated body dimensions in group A....
Subjective perception of during predominantly concentric and predominantly eccentric excercise
Opálková, Michaela ; Radvanský, Jiří (advisor) ; Doubková, Lucie (referee)
This thesis pursues the function of human skeletal muscle. It describes the sarcomere and current theories of the muscle contraction. In addition to conventional sliding sarcomere theory the new large - scale model is included. It is called rotational theory and it works on the basis of rotating helical molecules which are functionally coupled. Muscle reaction to stretching in dependence on the stretch length and velocity are folded in. The chapter Neural Commands is not comprehensive. Its purpose is to review the differences between neural control of concentric and eccentric contraction, respectively. Following parts summarize the integration of eccentric contraction into human movement, instantaneous reactions and adaptation processes. The last theoretical part deals with subjective perception of stress during predominantly concentric and predominantly eccentric exercise. The applied part consists of the outcomes of measurement of peak and averaged heart rate before and after bouts of running with predominantly concentric (uphill running) and predominantly eccentric (downhill running) exercise. Subjective rate of physical and psychical condition were registered at identical situation using visual analogue scale. Twelve high school students were measured. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Common causes of lower leg pain an Athletes
Pešková, Lucie ; Doubková, Lucie (advisor) ; Truc, Michal (referee)
An exercise-induced leg pain resulting from chronic overloading is a common condition affecting physically active population. This bachelor thesis gives an overview of recent knowledge in differential diagnosis of a chronic lower leg pain. Theoretic aspects deal with three main conditions with the highest incidence, including stress fractures, medial tibial stress syndrome and chronic exertional compartment syndrome. Particular chapters describe the difference in the epidemiology, aetiology, clinical presentation and risk factors. The diagnostic methods and treatment options are mentioned in the next chapter. In addition to theoretic aspects a retrospective study is part of this thesis. The research study the incidence of the lower leg pain among athletes. In contrast to theoretic part we concern about nonspecific lower leg pain in this research. At the same time we research a presence of risk factors and their effect on pathogenesis of the lower leg pain.
Affection of chosen aspects by using kinesiotape in swimmers shoulder
Laudová, Petra ; Doubková, Lucie (advisor) ; Demeková, Júlia (referee)
This research is focused on "swimmer's shoulder" and on affection of chosen aspects by kinesiotape. Theoretical part describes a summary of knowledge about origin, diagnostic and treatment of swimmer's shoulder. Kinesiotaping as a nowadays treatment method and its effects are also specified. The thesis provides a brief description of chosen aspects (pain, tactile acuity and proprioception) and their measuring by objectification methods. Practical part deals with measuring, evaluation and comparing of mentioned aspects before and after treatment by kinesiotape. Methods: 20 competitive swimmers (average age 18,3 years, SD ± 3,10) with shoulder pain were chosen for investigating and measuring. Pain was observed by visual analog scale (VAS) and pressure algometry, tactile acuity by esthesiomether and proprioception by a special method, all before and after treatment. A control group without kinesiotape was included to the research. Results: The experiment showed that tactile acuity was altered in patients with kinesiotape by 27,5 mm in average. This result was evaluated as statistically significant (p = 0,0023). Although values of pain measured by VAS and pressure algometry were enhanced, they were not very significant on the importace level 0,05 (p = 0,1540, resp. 0,1575). Proprioception was also...
