SMS Encryption for Mobile Communication
Lisoněk, David ; Bouška, Petr (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with encryption of short text message (SMS) in mobile communication. Introduction is dedicated to overview of the parts of GSM radiotelephone nets and SMS messages transfer . Next chapter is reserved for description of cryptographic methods especially symetric and asymetric encryptografic aproaches. A design of a SMS messages encryption and decryption techniques is in next. For SMS encryption and sign, there is used the asymetric cypher RSA. Encryption use OAEP padding schema. The public key is saved in certificate. The Symbian OS has been choosen as a suitable platform for programming of mobile devices.
Mechanizmy vzniku rezistence vůči platinovým cytostatikům

1. Abstract Although the first platinum drug cisplatin was initially described in 1845, its biological activity was discovered more than 100 years later. Since then are cisplatin and its clinically used analogues carboplatin and oxaliplatin in widespread use for the treatment of variety of human cancers, including ovarian, cervical, head and neck tumors, non-small cell lung, breast, colon, gastric and renal cell carcinoma, sarcoma and relapsed lymphoma. However, the treatment is often accompanied by severe side effects of which nephrotoxicity, peripheral neurotoxicity and myelosuppression are the most serious. Another important obstacle in their clinical use is drug resistance. This thesis evaluates possible mechanisms of the development of platinum drugs resistance. There is a variety of them and they include (i) diminished accumulation of platinum drugs affected by influx transporters (Aquaporin 9, CTR1, OCT1, OCT2) and by efflux transporters (ATP7A, ATP7B,ABCG2); (ii) increased detoxification of drug by thiols glutathione and metallothionein; (iii) improved repair of nuclear lesions affected by NER, MMR, Homologous recombination, and enhanced tolerance to nuclear lesions caused by Replicative bypass, inhibition of pro-apoptic factors (including caspase-3, -8, Fas and other), or by overexpression of...
Study of Platinum Cytotoxic Drug Interactions with ABCG2 Membrane Transporter
Bouška, Petr ; Čečková, Martina (advisor) ; Vacková, Zuzana (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Candidate: Mgr. Petr Bouška Consultant: PharmDr. Martina Čečková, Ph.D. Title of Thesis: Study of platinum cytotoxic drug interactions with ABCG2 membrane transporter Platinum cytotoxic drugs pertain among most frequently used cytotoxic drugs. However, their usage is complicated with development of resistance which can be caused by few mechanisms. The aim of this study is to evaluate possible interactions of cisplatin, carboplatin and oxaliplatin with ABCG2 membrane efflux transporter which causes resistance to many cytotoxic drugs. Hoechst 33342 assay was performed on cell lines MDCKII (parent cell line) and MDCKII-ABCG2 (cell line genetically modified for expression of human ABCG2 gene). Intracellular concentration of Hoechst 33342 was not increased in presence of any tested cytotoxic drug; significant change of Hoechst 33342 intracellular fluorescence was observed only in presence of ABCG2 control substrate mitoxantron and ABCG2 inhibitor fumitremorgin C. Final results did not demostrate interactions of ABCG2 with any studied platinum cytotoxic. It shows insignificant interaction between ABCG2 and platinum cytotoxic drugs and so improbable effect of this transporter on toxicity reduction...

Systém sociálního pojištění a veřejný dluh
Bouška, Petr
The goal of this thesis is to prove the connection between the system of social in-surance and public debt in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on defining the most important factors and causes that influence both mentioned systems the most. The next part of the thesis describes social insurance systems in the Czech and the Slovak Republic and in Estonia focusing on the method of administration and financing those systems. Correlation and regression analysis serves to prove the connection between those systems and public debt. In the last part of the the-sis, the conlusion based on this comparison expresses whether the connection between those mentioned system is present in the Czech Republic or not.

Visual conception of a film adaptation of the novel A FALL OF MOONDUST by Arthur C. Clark. The science fiction genre and its visual adaptation in examples from world cinematography.
Bouška, Petr ; Nekvasil, Ondřej (advisor) ; Masník, Boris (referee)
The science fiction genre has been popular in filmmaking since it first appeared. It brings views of the world which do not exist. Film is an ideal medium to materialize these fantasy worlds. However, owing to its popularity, the contours of the genre are fading and the term itself is losing its original meaning. Under the heading of science fiction we can, therefore, come cross films which do bring fantastic views and visions, but which have very little to do with science as such. The aim of the theoretical part of this work has been to sift out those film titles which belong to the science fiction genre in the stricter sense of the term science-fiction, focusing on the narrow segment of sci-fi films either taking place in space, or which are marginally related to space. Since this work deals mainly with the visual aspect of sci-fi films, a number of selected titles have been used to introduce their visual appearance. The films have been selected based on my own preference, within the definition of the term science fiction. The outcome of the theoretical part served as one of the sources for the visuals in the practical part of the work. The practical part provides visual designs for a film adaptation of a novel by A.C. Clarke, A Fall of Moondust. It provides visual designs of scenes and set decorations which aim to stress scientific reliability of depiction and strive to place the film among pieces of high scientific accuracy. This work may serve the needs of filmmakers interested in a realization of this particular piece, or to those creators, whose task is to adapt a different piece of science-fiction. The latter filmmakers may make use of the references to a number of interesting and inspirational films in the theoretical part of this work.
