Title: Bioactive interfaces between synthetic surfaces and biological fluids Author: Andrés de los Santos Pereira Institute: Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: RNDr. Eduard Brynda, CSc., Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences Abstract: The application in medicine of label-free affinity biosensors, advanced implants, and blood-contacting devices requires that their surfaces resist non-specific protein adsorption (fouling) and associated complications in blood-derived fluids while displaying immobilized bioreceptors that provide specific biofunctionality. The aim of this thesis was to explore the strategies for the preparation of these antifouling bioactive surfaces. Various types of recently developed antifouling polymer brushes were synthesized and evaluated in terms of their ability to prevent fouling from blood plasma (obtained from various commercial sources and individual donors) as well as thrombus formation when contacted with whole blood. Moreover, single-cell force spectroscopy was utilized to characterize the bacterial adhesion force and energy on these polymer brushes, which were significantly reduced in comparison to various reference substrates. Title: The quality of sport-related services in institutions designed for children aged 3- 6 years (pre-school education). Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the quality of sport related services in MŠ Bendova in the Czech Republic. Methods: This marketing research is going to be conducted using standardized methods of SERVQUAL in form of a written questionnaire, which was passed on to parents through kindergarten teachers. Results: The results of this marketing research show that parents are not completely satisfied with provided quality of sport service. The tangibles and assurance represent the most problematic part for the parents, on the other hand, the reliability was the best part of the research. Implementation of IS for the internet travel agency

The topic of this master thesis are information systems in turism. The author focuses mostly on reservations systems as an essential information systems for travel agencies. This thesis examines such systems in the context of the Internet and the model of software as a service. The Internet has become a necessary for operating these systems and it has influenced the field as a whole. The thesis has three main chapters. The first chapter is a theoretical one, where the author investigates the mechanics of information systems in turism. He attempts to formalize information systems in general and he seeks their role in organizations. Additionally, he explains how these systems work and what functionallity can be expected from them. In the second chapter, which moves between theory and practice, the author analyzes the current market situation of these systems. Next, he defines requirements on a system tailored for one specific bussiness plan. Using these requirements multi-criteria decision analysis is performed, selecting the system which best matches the chosen criteria. The last chapter is a practical one and it is concern with deploying selected system from the previous chapter and all aspects of this process. The goal of this thesis is to realize information system part of the Internet-based travel agency project and at the same time search for theoretical conclusions about these systems. The conclusions are then compiled into methodological manual for ASW application in the Internet-based travel agencies segment.

During the conference was presented 7 main, 13 special and 10 lectures by world known scientist in the field of drug delivery (Prof. Duncan, Prof. Maeda, Prof. Kataoka, Prof. Kopecek), 67 poster presentations and 7 oral presentations of young scientists.

Implementation templates for CMS WordPress with an emphasis on accessibility and usability

The purpose of this paper is to describe and to analyze process of creating template for WordPress, content management system, on practical example. This template will follow trends of modern webdesign, mainly accessibility and usability. First chapter will be description of WordPress and its capabilities. Following chapter is concerned with WordPress templates system and its template structure requirements. Accessible and usable web and what it takes to be one is subject of next chapter. In last chapter I will explain complete process of template creation including all phases from initial analysis, design and realization possibilities, to finalizing template.

In those experimenst we studied the possible impace of CD43 as highly glycosylated molecule in cells exposed to free doxorubicin (Dox) or to conjugates consisting of HPMA copolymer backbone to which the drug is conjugated via enzymatically (PK1 conjugate) or pH sensitive, hydrolytically cleavable bond (hydrazone conjugate, HYD).
