The subject of this master’s thesis is to analyze and evaluate the economic indicators of selected company and comparison of these indicators with the nearest competitors. The thesis is divided into three main sections. First part is theoretical and contains information about used economical and statistical terms. Second part contains of analysis of economic indicators, comparison of actual and predicted values and comparison with the nearest competitors. In order to predict future values of indicators, on selected indicators appropriate regression function has been applied. The last part of thesis contains of program created by using VBA in MS Excel, which is designed to calculate the economic indicators, and the part containing proposals for improving the situation of company.

The aim of this thesis is to apply selected statistical methods with the objective of optimizing the calculation of profitability of vending machines and snack machines based on the data collected during restocking. The thesis includes the development of an algorithm for analyzing the restocking time and the time required to move between machines, with a focus on identifying suspicious behavior.
Proposal of Strategic Development of a Company Operating in the Field of Combat Sports Using Statistical Methods

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of the further direction of the company focused on the teaching of combat sports with the help of statistical methods. The theoretical part is divided into an economic part and a statistical part and defines the theoretical framework of the issues related to the work. This is followed by the introduction of the company and the analytical part, which deals with the analysis of the external and internal environment of the selected company. As part of the analytical part, attendance at the gym was analyzed and two econometric models were constructed, with the help of which it is possible to predict the future values of this indicator. Based on the analyses, several suggestions and recommendations were proposed for the further direction and improvement of the company's services.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of a software application that serves as a tool for conducting financial analysis of a chosen company. The knowledge from the theoretical part is used as a foundation upon which the following two parts of the thesis rely. The analytical part examines the economic situation of the company. The practical part focuses on describing the functioning of the created application and presents the output of the thesis in the form of a comprehensive evaluation of the current state of the company's economic situation, as well as recommendations for its improvement.

Title: Generation Z and sports brands Objectives: Main goal of the diploma thesis is to find out brand importance in decision-making process of generation Z living in capital city of Prague using group interviews. Methods: The qualitative method was used in the diploma via group interviews. Scenario of the group interviews was based on literature search. Audio record was taken during the interview which was used with notes to analyzing the data. Summary protocol method was used to rewrite data from audio record. Results: For generation Z living in the capital city of Prague, the brand plays its role in the buying decision-making process in all its phases in the purchase of sporting goods. Generation Z living in capital city of Prague got good relationship with sporting brands. They are willing to pay more money for branded goods and they are loyal to brands. The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of POEX Velké meziříčí a.s company’s basic situation and financial statements. The first part explains financial indicators and statistical methods. The second part is based on the theoretical knowledge, where the calculations of selected economic indicators are performed and the trend of development of these indicators is determined using the application of time series and regression analysis. Lastly, the thesis summarises the financial situation of the POEX company and make suggestions to improve the company’s future behaviour.

In my bachelor thesis, I deal with the topic of mathematical methods in economics. I focus on investing the company's free capital in cryptocurrencies, which is illustrated with the help of selected strategies. In the first part of the work, I explain the technical and fundamental requirements of cryptocurrencies, its most important representatives and technical analysis based on mathematical and statistical methods. In the practical part, I analyze four selected cryptocurrencies on two different investment strategies, which are then evaluated.
