Forging gear
Šíma, Vojtěch ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The project elaborated in a frame of Bachelor‘s studies branch B-STG presents a technology design of a forged piece – gear wheel by drop forging. The wheel is made form 12 050.0 material and is a part of an agriculture machine. Considering the series of 45 000 pieces per a year and the precision of production, the drop forging for three operations was selected for production. The wheel will be produced on the crank drawing inclinable press LKZ 1600 P from Šmeral Brno, a.s. producer with nominal tensile force 16 MN. Swages are made of alloyed instrumental steel 19 552.8. At the end of the project technical economic evaluation of production and comparison of the forging technology and machining technology was implemented.
Bulk forming technology of sandwich coil insert
Šíma, Vojtěch ; Kudláčová, Barbora (referee) ; Forejt, Milan (advisor)
The project elaborated in a frame of Master‘s degree branch M-STG focuses on the design of a technology of sandwich coil used for connecting the aircraft floor sandwich panels to the fuselage bulkheads. The product is made of a lightweight aluminium alloy AlMn1. Combined cold extrusion with upsetting of the flange was chosen as the most fitting technology due to the manufacturing requirements and production series size of 120 000 pieces per year. The component is manufactured from a block blank in three operations by a progressive forming machine TPM 8-A with a nominal force of 1000 kN from Šmeral Brno a.s. producer. Within the project, tools for the production of the part were designed and also technical calculations for individual operations and technical and economic evaluation of production were made. The price of the component is estimated to be at least CZK 7,33.
Car Movement Measurent on Carrera Racing Tracks
Šíma, Vojtěch ; Malaník, Petr (referee) ; Rydlo, Štěpán (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a measuring device that allows to measure quantities such as speed, acceleration and centripetal force while the car is moving on the Carrera racetrack. An embedded system will be created for measurement, where the main result is a printed circuit board that was created and mounted according to a schematic design composed of currently available electronic components. As the board moves along the race track, data is then recorded based on the implemented program, which is stored on a memory medium and later processed for a suitable visual presentation. Based on this data, it is then possible to analyse how the model behaves when moving on the autotrack and which factors have an effect on this movement.

Investigation of microstructure and phase transformations in zirconium alloys
Strnad, Adam ; Šmilauerová, Jana (advisor) ; Šíma, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Investigation of microstructure and phase transformations in zirconium alloys Author: Adam Strnad Department: Department of physics of materials Supervisor: RNDr. Jana Šmilauerová, Ph.D., Department of physics of materials Abstract: In this work, we studied microstructure and phase transformations in three α+β zirconium alloys Zr-4Nb-1Cr, Zr-4Nb-2Al and Zr-6Sn-4Nb. We used methods such as light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy to examine the microstructure of α and β phase and its changes due to homogenization annealing. Differential scanning calorimetry and resistometry were employed to investigate the phase transitions occurring in studied alloys. We determined using these complementary methods the temperature dependency of α → β phase transition. As a result, the beta transus temperature was determined for each alloy. By quenching the samples from temperatures below and above the beta transus, we verified the measured value of beta transus temperature. 1
Diffusion of native defects and impurities in CdTe/CdZnTe
Šedivý, Lukáš ; Belas, Eduard (advisor) ; Šíma, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Diffusion of native defects and impurities in CdTe/CdZnTe. Author: Lukáš Šedivý Author's e-mail address: luky.sedivy@seznam.cz Department: Institute of Physics of Charles University Supervisor: Doc. Ing. Eduard Belas, CSc. Supervisor's e-mail address: belas@karlov.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: In this thesis, the influence of structural defects on the electrical and de- tection characteristics of CdTe material was investigated. The performed research fo- cused on the reduction of structural defects in the material by annealing in Cd or Te vapor, while preserving acceptable features for X-ray and γ-ray detection. The mate- rial was characterized by measurement of the electrical resistivity and concentration and mobility of free carriers. Tellurium and cadmium inclusions were studied using infrared microscope. The static and dynamic properties of defect structures at high temperatures and de- fined Cd pressures was investigated, as well, and chemical diffusion coeficients describing the dynamic properties of these defects were experimentally determined. Keywords: monocrystal CdTe, structural defects in semiconductors, annealing in Cd or Te, chemical diffusion coefficient, γ-ray detectors. 1
