Manufacturing of the part of a wine bottle opener
Kyselá, Lenka ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Diploma thesis introduces the design of a functional part of a wine opener, focusing on simplicity and effectivity of the manufacturing process with the use of progressive stamping tool. The part will be made by technology of progressive cutting and bending. For the production of the specified part stainless steel coil marked as 17 241.4 will be used This material is suitable for the use in commercial gastronomy thanks to its qualities. Also in this thesis there are technical calculations, suggestios for of optimal tools, economic calculations, and technical-economic evaluation of the production of the specified part.
Analysis of Influence of Manufacturing Technology on Utility Properties of a Reducing Valve Part
Novotný, Michal ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The present work is focused on the comparison of the currently used technology for the production of reducing resistors, i.e. electroerosive machining in combination with soldering on one side and the use of a suitable additive technology on the other hand. In addition to the purely technological aspects, such as the individual production processes or their preparation, economic aspects are also compared, supplemented by an assessment of the delivery times of the finished parts. The analysis is carried out The environmental impact of both production approaches is also analysed. The individual comparisons form the basis for to assess whether the replacement of the conventional manufacturing approach by additive manufacturing is advantageous in this case. The results of this assessment can then be used for future applications of the considered additive manufacturing approaches for similar components.
Innovative production of the brake segment
Vágner, Lukáš ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Jopek, Miroslav (advisor)
The project elaborates the design of the new technology production of the developed shape of the component, which is part of the drum break. The material of the component is structural steel S355J2C. The annual series produced is 100,000 pieces. From the possible production variants, the production by progressive cutting was chosen as the most suitable. Based on a literature study of the issue, an optimal method of production was proposed. The coil blank is fed to the designed tool by an unwinding and straightening device. The tool is clamped in the selected press LDO 800 A/S with the nominal forming force 8 MN. According to the economic calculations, the selling price of one manufactured part was set at 195 Kč. Production becomes profitable after making 55 283 parts.
CNC Applications in Forming Processes
Pobořil, Martin ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis presents the study on CNC control and its usage in forming processes. It analyses the main elements which are essential for functionality of computed numerically controlled processes. It also comprises the basics of CNC programming and related software programmes. Individual technologies of forming are covered in terms of fundamental principles. Subsequently the technologies are described in relation to the CNC control – in theory and also the specific examples of machines and software programmes are given. The thesis considers advantages and disadvantages of each technology and its suitability for use in given application.
Marginal conditions and their influence in the production of reinforced steel fibres in concrete
Loyková, Markéta ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
Constantly increasing demands of customers for the speed of realization of the construction and reduction of all input costs have been reflected in civil engineering by high demand for reinforced steel fibers in concrete. The steel reinforcement has significant role in this composite material. This means that reinforcement (wires) provide the required physicochemical properties to the concrete. It is necessary to pay attention also to the marginal conditions and their influences in the production of wire. In close cooperation with the companies Krampe Harex CZ and Cemex Czech Republic, an analysis of the conditions of the drawing process and subsequent influence of dispersed steel reinforcement on the final product was created. The economic aspects of the production of dispersed steel reinforcement in concrete were also mentioned.
Sheet metal forming using liquid
Fries, Petr ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
This work is focused on unconventional technology using liquid as forming medium. The thesis presents the principle of forming methods hydroforming and its variations, wheelon, Flexform, hydromechanical drawing and explosive forming with examples of parts produced individual methods. A comparison of their advantages and disadvantages with conventional production methods.
3D metal printing
Vrána, Pavel ; Herčík, Tomáš (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The work presents a literature search of current technologies for 3D metal printing. In the introduction, the individual methods are divided according to the forms of material into powder, wire, and string. The methods using metal powder are SLS, EBM, and DED. Other methods are ADAM, PMD, and WAAM. For each technology are described the principle, printable materials, usage, and example of the product. For methods using electric arc are described possible metal transfers and their limitations.
Problems of critical wall narrowing in high pressure hydroforming
Drška, Jan ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with narrowing metal sheet wall by high-pressure-fluid forming technology on a practical example. This thesis is working on an issue from practice while using a non-standard problem solving method. Theoretical part outlines classical methods of hydroforming and the theories of sheet metal forming. Practical part consists of proposed solution and an elaborated simulation. Subsequently is described the ideal machine for hydroforming and technological procedure. Last part is devoted to technical and economical evaluation.
Optimalization of parts bonded by hot crimping
Liškář, Ladislav ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis describes the procedure for verifying the conceptual ideas of the company. Design and production of prototypes, testing and evaluation, quantifying savings. Two variants of crimped bond were chosen. For each was length of shaft changed to three and four crimped grooves. These prototypes were tested in two static and one dynamic tests. Recommendation for company is continue with other phases of development for shaft with four grooves.
Numerical simulation of a tube flaring under dynamic conditions
Hlavačka, Daniel ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis builds on the project FSI-S-14-2394, in which the biaxial state of tension of longitudinally welded tubes made from material 17 240 was investigated. The experiment was carried out under dynamic conditions on an impact tester, which was designed with structural simplicity and ease of observation of the experiment in mind. Deformation was recorded by high-speed cameras and a dynamometer. Results of the experiment were processed by measuring devices and subsequently used in a simulation created using a software utilizing the finite element method. Simulations were created for samples DA8 and DB9. These samples were selected because they did not crack and were fully stamped. Results of the simulation correspond to the values measured by high-speed cameras and a dynamometer with a small variance. Based on comparison of the results, it can be states that the simulation is technically acceptable.
