Bachelor thesis: The identity of people with cochlear implant Veronika Čulíková Abstract: The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of the identity of people with cochlear implant. It also addresses the views and opinions of social groups with which users of cochlear implants identify. The introductory chapters of the theoretical part are dedicated to describing identity in general. Subsequently, possible identities of people with hearing loss are described, with particular focus on identities of people with cochlear implants. Factors which can affect the development of an individual's identity are also discussed. Both existing views of deafness are introduced, along with the possible attitudes towards cochlear implantation. Opinions of experts and of general public are also presented. The practical part describes a survey among users of cochlear implants regarding the perception of their own identity, their chosen means of communication and their preferred social group.

Creation of thematic product for the destination of South Bohemia

The diploma thesis aims at the creation of a new thematic product, namely for the destination of South Bohemia. The thesis is divided into two parts where the theoretical part defines terms related to the topic of the thesis first and deals with the destination marketing and the process of creating tourism destination product. In the practical part, there is, based on performed analyses, designed the product concept, the sense of which is wandering around places which South Bohemian folk songs are about. At the end, the benefits of the designed thematic product are predicted and its potential is evaluated.

Offer of botanical attractivities in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the offer of tourism for the participants with an interest in botany. First, it is characterized botanically-based tourism as a specific type of tourism, its participants from both lay and professional public and background of its services. It is defined botanical attractivity and set its various types with their characteristics and offer in the Czech Republic.
