The Level Of Knowlege Guidelines Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation For Nurses
Lukešová, Ludmila ; Eislerová, Iva (advisor) ; Čapková, Radka (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to determine the level of theoretical knowledge of the procedures of cardiopulmonary resuscitation of selected non-medical staff members in VFN in Prague. The work is subdivided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the first part I comment on the history of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the basic and widespread vital support to adults and children and the didactics of CPR. In the second- practical part I compare the theoretical knowledge of CPR of selected non-medical staff members. To collect all the necessary information I opted for the questionnaire method. In the discussion I then consider the fulfilment of the established hypothesis. The conclusion of this investigation can serve as a feedback to the instructor of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Key Words: Cardiopulmunary resuscitation, guidelines, artifitial respiration, indirect heart massage

Mobile home parenteral nutrition
Votavová, Markéta ; Meisnerová, Eva (advisor) ; Čapková, Radka (referee)
A stationary or portable infusion pump can be used to administer home parenteral nutrition (HPN). The stationary pump (SP) must be fasten to the infusion stand, so patients administer infusions in night mode to maintain their quality of life and mobility in the daytime. However, administering the HPN at nighttime can cause complications. Conversely, the portable pump (PP) does not have to be fasten to the infusion stand and the infusions can be administered in day mode during activities, as the PP can be placed in a special backpack. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the administration of HPN in day mode in patients with a PP and further to evaluate and compare the results of quality of life and liver function tests results in patients with a PP and a SP. HPN patients with a PP and a SP completed the HPN-QOL questionnaire in the nutritional clinic at the 4th internal clinic of the General University Hospital in Prague during outpatient visits. In addition to that, patients with a PP completed a questionnaire focused on the administration of HPN in day mode. Liver function tests results (total bilirubin, ALT, AST, GGT, ALP, cholinesterase and albumin) were obtained from patients' medical records. A total of 14 respondents with a PP and 14 respondents with a SP were included in the...
Micronutrients in home parenteral nutrition
Petříčková, Dagmar ; Meisnerová, Eva (advisor) ; Čapková, Radka (referee)
The topic of the diploma thesis is micronutrients at home parenteral nutrition. In the theoretical part, parenteral nutrition is analyzed, including advantages and disadvantages, indications and contraindications. Intestinal failure is described as the most basic indication for the introduction of long-term / home parenteral nutrition. Following is the characterization and classification of micronutrients and a description of the consequences of their deficiency or surplus. Micronutrients are particularly important as cofactors and coenzymes in enzymatic reactions that would not be possible without them. The key question is whether the plasma levels show the actual state of the stock of the micronutrient in the organism, if the drop in most of the micronutrients that we find in patients reflects the actual deficiency to be substituted, or whether this decrease is an expression of their shift to other segments, the severity of the health condition. In the practical part of the diploma thesis are evaluated the levels of selected micronutrients (vitamin D, vitamin B12, folic acid, iron) in the group of patients with indication of home parenteral nutrition. The evaluation was based on laboratory analysis of patients' results. Key words: Parenteral nutrition, micronutrients, deficiency, surplus

Intertextuality in Advertising and its Use in Czech Language Lessons
Čapková, Radka ; Kvítková, Naděžda (advisor) ; Janovec, Ladislav (referee) ; Hoffmannová, Jana (referee)
Intertextuality in Advertising and its Use in Czech Language Lessons Advertising, as one of the forms of persuasive communication, often uses intertextual links to persuade, to manipulate and to seduce the recipient. The thesis analyses the intertextual links in advertising and their distribution according to the types of pretexts on the basis of theoretical research, and elaborates, how the different kinds of advertisements and commercials are perceived by secondary school students. In the first part of the thesis, relevant theories, which deal with intertextuality, are summed up, and the main terms are defined. In the area of intertextual research, we can find two main conceptions of intertextual links: broader, represented e. g. by Kristeva, Barthes, Bloom, Riffaterre, and narrower, manifested e. g. in theories of Bachtin, Genette, Głowińsky, Markiewicz or Homoláč. In our thesis we emanated from the narrower conception of Homoláč, who defines intertextuality as linking of one text to another text, which is incorporated into its meaning structure. We also defined terms architextuality and metatextuality and specified their relevance to our research. In the second part, having taken theoretical literature and language sources as a basis, types of intertextual links used in advertising are selected. The...
