The Book of Jonah, Chapter 2. Exegesis, Theology and Interpretation of an Old Testament Pericope
Hrouda, Vojtěch ; Prudký, Martin (advisor) ; Čapek, Filip (referee)
In the presented work we have dealt mainly with the second chapter of the Old Testament book of Jonah, whose dominant part is Jonah's psalm of thanks. We tried to find arguments for their own hypotheses and then soberly formulate conclusions. We have tried in this way to bridge the gap between analytical exegesis of the Hebrew text and a synthetic actual applications. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Prague ensembles of contemporary music between 1990-2004
Práve izolovanost a omezenost možnosti zprítomnovat novou tvorbu ohrožuje soudobou hudební tvorivost nejvíce. Není divu, že si skladatelé pomáhají vlastními silami. Po roce 1989 zacínají zakládat vlastní komorní soubory, kde svou tvorbu mohou prezentovat a konfrontovat s...

The self-portrait in the Czech baroque painting
Kacetlová, Miroslava ; Horyna, Martin (referee) ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor)
The se1f-portrait in painting is similar to an autobiography in literature. It is an unique testimony of painter' s life and art, of his desires, fears and whishes. It contains its own typical attributes: brusches, a palette, an easel with a canvas and specific studio clothes as well, which point to the painter's profession. Usually the sitter is in the contact with the viewer with the help of his eyes' sight. The deve10pment of the self-portraiture started in the Renaissance period, when the artist se1f-consciousness of his talent and uniqueness of his art spread. Painters started to offend against giuld rules which tied them. An important break into the obsolete system was the attempt to establish an Academy in Prague in 1709. The main authors ofthe project were the painter Michael Václav Halbax, the sculptor František Preiss and the architect František Maxmilián Kaňka. But their progressive idea broke down in the end. The barock self-portraits in the Czech painting were influenced by the previous period - the era of the emperor Rudolf II. and his great painters for example: Bartholomeus Spranger and Hans von Aachen. I diveded self-portraits into five chapters: the self-portraits alone, the se1f-portraits with attributes, the family self-portraits, the se1f-portraits in narative scenes, the self-portraits...

Salt business in the memoirs of the Prachatice burgesses
TOMEČKOVÁ, Petra
The focus of this paper is on the bourgeoisie of Early New Age, as presented through the manuscript Zápisky Zikmunda Turnovského z Turnštejna a jeho zetě Tobiáše Rumpála z Kunratic v Prachaticích, počaté roku 1666. The manuscript represents the self written memoirs of the burgesses{\crq}. It reflects their experiences and events in their home town of Prachatice. The manuscript may be considered as both the burgess chronicle as well as the town chronicle. The purpose of this work is to confirm or refute the manuscript{\crq}s relations to the other memoirs dating back to the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The main emphases will be on the common and specific signs of the manuscripts. This work can be divided into two parts, namely the edition and interpretation. While the edition deals with the writing and its specifics, the interpretation focuses on its content. The most important part is how the salt business had considerable influence on the history and development of the town and its residents. The authors of the presented manuscript represent Prachatice bourgeoisie. The authors' personalities determine the formal features and themes of the records in the manuscript.

The Game NIM - a Non-Traditional Environment for the Teaching of Mathematics
Lebedová, Miroslava ; Slezáková, Jana (advisor) ; Hejný, Milan (referee)
In the main part of my thesis I looked for winning strategy of different types of the game NIM. I focused on my own process which led to discovery of a general formula of concrete type of NIM. After that its validity was proved. The whole process was accompanied by self-reflection. The following aim of thesis was to find out if NIM is an appropriate game for pupils of primary schools. Therefore on the basis of my own experiences I chose one type of NIM and I used it for experiments with pupils (aged 10-11). I observed pairs of pupils looking for winning strategy and I made notes of their reactions. Then deep analysis of one pre-experiment and one experiment followed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Implementation of a new software supporting customer relationship management
Chuchvalcová, Eliška ; Švecová, Lenka (advisor) ; Horníková, Monika (referee)
The main goal of this work is to provide managers with complex methodology for the implementation of software supporting customer relationship management. Because the activity is done only occasionally, the methodology is based on theoretical findings of project management which the first part focuses on. The specifics of the multinational company where the software implementation was provided were taken into consideration. The implementation itself is described in chapters corresponding with the theoretical base and prepared project plan as the main implementation document. Described are practical experiences which I gained as the manager responsible for leading the project. During project realisation a number of theoretical findings were confirmed, as well as managers' practical experiences, both positive and negative. Regarding the importance and character of the problems it is expected that similar activity will be repeated in the future. The project provides information on how to prepare for implementation.

Walterová, Zuzana ; DAŇHEL, Jan (advisor) ; Havlíček, Jiří (referee)
I explore the phenomenon of the genre Live Cinema in my bachelor thesis. But not only from the point of view of new media. I am trying to confront this genre with new possible usings of it – in the field of film-theatrical performance. I search for the right understanding throu the reasearch among its ancestors. First part of the thesis searches for the history of Live Cinema from the film point of view. Second part searches for the same, but from the theatre point of view. Last part is dedicated to my own personal experiences of creating Live Cinema in the film-theatrical way.

Usage of the product in school canteens
Vodička, Jan ; Šánová, Petra (advisor) ; Hrubcová, Barbora (referee)
The thesis is focused on the consumer interest in a new product on the market, for this purpose, freshly chopped apples in a hygienic bag with a shelf life of 12 days. The aim of this thesis is to determine whether school representatives will show interest in this product or not. The methodology of the work itself involves the creation and evaluation of two questionnaire surveys, which were attended by 69 school representatives and 116 parents of children aged 3 to 15 years. The results of the survey have shown that these schools cannot offer children fresh, washed, hygienically prepared fruit, designated for direct consumption on field-trips, sporting events, etc., hence they would be willing to buy this new product for children in schools. The questionnaire survey, which concerned children's parents, showed that parents do not find the offer of fruit and healthy food in schools sufficient and they would like this product to be sold mostly in school cafeterias and snack machines.
