Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahy mezi oběma zeměmi od počátku formování států, ale především po vzniku samostatných republik až do současnosti. Text je rozdělen do pěti kapitol, první kapitola se zabývá obecnými směry zahraničních politik obou států, zbylé čtyři popisují konkrétní podobu vzájemných styků, vždy nejdřív z politického a potom z ekonomického hlediska.

Vehicle sensoric systems

The objective of the thesis is to analyze modern sensoric systems and assistance systems of active vehicle safety. In the beginning of the thesis it describes the working principles of individual sensors, their structures and their potential for driver assistance systems and in the following chapter it describes in detail some of the selected modern assistance systems. The final chapter describes the experiment, a simulation of adaptive cruise control function using the Lego Mindstorms NXT programmable robotics kit.

Real estate as investment

This bachelor thesis discusses real estates as investment assets. In the beginning, I define in which part of the market is investor, considering real estate purchase, situated. Present situation on real estate and mortgage markets is specified afterwards. In the next parts, I describe typical real estate investor and give an example on his investment instrument, apartment in Prague city center. I state, enumerate and when possible optimize all the expenses that should be considered by investor. Next chapter is concerned by revenues. In the rest of the thesis, I perform and comment profitability calculations of particular scenarios.

The analysis of personnel agency's activity

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of personnel agency's activity. Thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first one discusses the definition of personnel agency. There is also clarified the agency of work and the types of it, development of employment agency, relations between the subjects of personnel agency and the differences between the personnel agency and the employment agency. The second chapter describes the characteristics of the personnel agency. There are also mentioned the provided services of personnel agency, advantages and disadvantages of using personnel agency for an employer and the analysis of consultant's activities in the personnel agency which are the sales and the personnel activity. The last chapter is devoted to the personnel agency called Žirafa.cz. There is also description of the system of the personnel agency, provided services, used methods of recruitment and selection of applicants and the survey through the questionnaire in the company Žirafa.cz. The list of questions is created in order to find the evaluation and the satisfaction of the respondents with Žirafa.cz especially with their consultants. The last part of bachelor thesis is evaluation and suggestions that could make company more effective.

The analysis of financial and tax implications of trade receivables

The subject of this thesis are receivables and their recognition from the legal, accounting and tax perspective. It also deals with their classification among different groups. However, the main goal of this work is describing the issue of recoverability of receivables and ways to allow for this in accounting by means of impairment through allowances for doubtful accounts and writes off, all in accordance with financial and tax legislation. A chapter is dedicated to the topic of securing of the receivables using various instruments of the financial market. A practical part of the thesis analyses the recording and structure of receivables in a particular company, and assesses its success with using different approaches to claim their entitlement to the amount outstanding

Porovnání Java frameworků pro vytváření webových stránek

Cílem práce je zobrazit vývoj webových aplikací na platformě Java, představit javovské webové frameworky Struts, WebWork, Velocity a Tapestry, vytvořit metodiku pro porovnání těchto frameworků a porovnat je podle metodiky tak, aby si čtenář mohl zvolit framework, který bude jeho aplikaci nejlépe vyhovovat. První část, která končí kapitolou číslo tři, popisuje vývoj webových aplikací od počátku až k javovským webovým frameworkům a představí zkoumané frameworky. Pro konkrétní představu jsou zde popsány programy naprogramované ve všech frameworcích. Ve druhé části je vytvořena metodika a frameworky jsou podle ní porovnány. Na závěr jsou shrnuta pozitiva i negativa daných frameworků.

The first chapter will describe the six different parallel narratives from the book, while the most of the thesis will be based on Tandem Narrative which I will try to explain through the case study of three films: Traffic(Steven Soderbergh, 2000), Crimes and Misdemeanors ( Woody Allen, 1989) and Man is not a bird (Dusan Makavejev, 1965).

Review of the book Natural capitalism

Recenze je zaměřena na možné přínosy, které kniha přináší urbanismu, pojatému jako teorie prognóz, návrhu, výstavby a správy měst. Kniha uvádí témata, která již byla předmětem delšího zájmu, nových výzkumů a studií RMI (Rocky Mountains Institute v USA). Přes snahu autorů přinést co nejvíce případů aplikace nových přístupů, ekologických i ekonomických šancí - universálním návodem ani praktickým "manuálem" však kniha není. Mimo jiné i proto, že je ovlivněna současnou realitou USA, zejména problematikou závislosti společnosti na autech, a obsah knihy tak nesplňuje imperativ Alberta Einsteina, použitý jako motto knihy - " Problémy nelze řešit způsobem myšlení, který problémy vytvořil". Obsah kapitol 1 až 13 je zaměřen na moderní pojetí "ekologických služeb" přírody, tak aby dobře a udržitelně fungovala jako "faktor 4" kapitalismu. Kapitola 14 je zaměřena na "sociální služby", poskytované systémy jako jsou velká města, která jsou naplánována, realizována a spravována ve smyslu nově definovaných, udržitelných "sociálních služeb". Jako vzor je použito významné brazilské města Curitiba. Kapitola 14 je však mediální, nepřesvědčivá a postrádá jakékoli urbanistické informace. Detailnější pohled na případ města Curitiba si tudíž čtenář - odborník, politik, urbanista - musí získat sám a jinde. Je to nezbytné, jinak mu kniha poskytne o "faktoru 4" - sociálních službách - jen povrchní informace. Kapitola 15 je o prognózách a plánování ve vztahu ke společnému habitatu lidí a také ostatní přírody. Bohužel i v této kapitole chybí odpovídající konkrétní doklady.

Administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth traffic flow on highways

The presented thesis refers to the administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth traffic flow on highways. This is very actual topic currently, because everybody meets with these administrative transgressions in his life. The thesis is composed of seven chapters. The first chapter introduce us with the history of legislation in the period from the formation of the Czechoslovak republic in 1918 to the presence. The following chapter describes relevant legislation. This chapter contains general regulation of liability for transgressions, as well as discusses the constituent elements of transgressions and ends with characteristic of the constituent elements defined by the Law of highway traffic. In the third chapter, I focused on the comparison of transgressions and crimes. First I compared the general arrangement for liability for crimes and transgressions. Furthermore, I have listed which crimes could be committed in connection with the highway traffic, and then I looked on, in my opinion, mostly committed crimes. The fourth chapter deals with the sanctions that may be imposed for transgressions. The rules on penalties are prescribed by Law of transgressions; the specific amount of sanctions is set by the Law of highway traffic. Evaluation of CSR activities of chosen companies

This diploma thesis deals with a corporate social responsibility. The aim of the thesis is evaluation of CSR activities of two chosen companies. Theoretical part begins with the subject of corporate social responsibility, historical evolution of the term and modern definitions. Following that there is a description of the main three pillars of CSR, standards and methods, how is the CSR evaluated. Practical part is divided into 5 main chapters. The first one is a methodology of exploration, then evaluation of CSR activities of company ŠKODA AUTO, a.s. incl. questionnaire for employees. Evaluation of CSR activities of company Toyota Peugeot Citroen Automobile Czech s.r.o. is in the third chapter of the practical part. Following that there is a final evaluation of CSR activities for both companies for the three main pillars of CSR, evaluation of the questionnaire and recommendations from the author. Summary of the thesis is in conclusion of this work.
