Possibilities of the usage of nonconventional methods and dietary supplements in prevention and in health provision of calves.
PÁNIKOVÁ, Monika
Healthy and strong individuals are fundamental in every cattle breeding. Tthe aim of this study was which of these given supplement had the best influence on calf weight gain in early period after weaning to milk nutrition. This research had continued in cooperation with farm in Hakovy Dvory. Calfs were studied from March 2012 to February 2013. They were weaned into outdoor individual box after birth. There were added supplements into their ration in firs two weeks of life. Calfs were partitioned on the base of addend supplement into three experimental groups and one control group. The first weight control of calfs was after birth and the second weight control was in thirty days of life. From the different of theese values was calculated average weight gain. The best significant effect had tested groups Homeopatics and Prebiotics (Biopolym) with average increment 26,9 kilograms. Next tested group was Probiotics (Lactovita) with average increment 26,1 kilograms. The last goup was Contol, there the calfs didn?t have changed ration and their average increment was 23,5 kilograms. From the results of this study is possible to presume, that calfs had positive reaction on supplements added in first days of life and theese had favourable effect to diarrhoea prevention. Prebiotics, homeopatics and probiotics favourable stimulate calfs digestive system and they have general positive effect on calfs physiological condition.

Analysis of metabolome effects of hop (H. lupulus) transcription factors in heterologous of Petunia hybrida
MORAVCOVÁ, Vendula
Plant transformation is now a key research in plant biology, and also is a unique practical tool in the improvement of varieties of cultivated plants. The aim of this work was to obtain transgenic plants Petunia x hybrida containing transgene nptII (kanamycin resistance gene) using the indirect transformation by Agrobacterium tumefaciens. In terms of in-vivo was grown from seeds experimental material in the form of plant Petunia x hybrida cv. Andrea. For the experiments three different constructs HLWD40 3278-80 and HLbHLH 3577 and HLbHLH 3677 GFP were used. The leaf explants from Petunia plants were prepared. Explants were transferred using tweezers into the crucible containing liquid ? MS and prepared bacteria were added. Thus prepared explants remained in bacteria the next day, when they were transferred to the regenerating solid ground. The explants formed callus gradually (clusters of cells) which regenerate a new plant. Transformation should satisfy the condition that the transformed plants should be fertile. For this reason, an attempt was made crossing the transformed plants were crossed Pap1 1527/2 and Pap1 1572/4 with plants crossed HLWD 40 3278-80. The grown plants were analysed by a PCR reaction. The explants began during the first 2-4 weeks after transfromation to form callus and during the next week to remove the first regenerants. At one exulant fell averaged around 7 regenerants and the explants regenerated by construct HLbHLH 3577 regenerate better than regenerants transformed with construct HLWD 40 3278-80. During the transformation we obtained regenerants. With "tissue" PCR, it was found that 15 plants carried the gene for kanamycin resistance. Transformation efficiency was 3.75%.

Logistics support police of the Czech Republic in dealing with crisis situation
PILAŘ, Michal
Police of the Czech Republic provides for declaration of an emergency or crisis situation many activities. For the successful implementation of these activities must be appropriately trained police staff and to provide appropriate conditions for carrying out these tasks. An integral part of providing adequate conditions of police personnel and logistical support. This work provides a study of available literature and law basic picture of the logistical support of the Police in dealing with a crisis situation, which is described in the first part. Using quantitative research in the form of an anonymous survey validates the level of logistical support to the Police of the Czech Republic. The sample was composed of the officers of district police department of various regions of the Czech Republic. The sample consisted of rank and file police officers, as well as heads of district police department. A questionnaire survey during the first three questions focused on the characteristics of the sample. Another part of the questionnaire assessed, among other things, whether the respondents participated in a crisis situation, whether they are satisfied with the equipment your department, your company vehicles and their personal resources to tasks in dealing with crisis situations. Subsequently, respondents are asked whether they accomplish tasks in dealing with crisis situations and receive food and rest assured that they are by the employer in the event of damage to equipment and facilities these parts replaced and whether they changed equipment before its expiration time. The last section of the questionnaire addresses the information to carry out treatment (intervention), the possibility of connection points emergencies, providing medical services respondents and provide training with legislative changes well in advance. Based on the study of available literature in the thesis are defined in terms of crisis management, emergency, crisis situation and found there is a parallel between these concepts and the concept of logistic support. In the second part describes the methodology and hypotheses. The third part consists of the results. The final part consists of discussion, where they are analyzed achievements work. To achieve the objectives of the work in this work used methods of data collection, analysis, mathematical and graphical. When writing a thesis, I first studied the literature in logistics and logistical support and the study of the legislation, which serves as the legal basis for the logistical support of the Police of the Czech Republic in dealing with crisis situations. When choosing a topic for this bachelor thesis I stated hypothesis "Logistical support the Police of the Czech Republic is at a good level." This hypothesis was disproved in the thesis.

The Puppeteer, the Oldest Journal in the World of Puppetry (1912-2009)
Pivodová, Eva ; Köpplová, Barbara (advisor) ; Wolák, Radim (referee)
Puppeteer, World's Oldest Periodical Focused on Puppetry (1912-2009) Diploma Thesis Eva Pivodová Abstract This thesis focuses on the history of the magazine Czech Puppeteer (Český loutkář), or Puppeteer (Loutkář), the world's oldest continuously published periodical of its kind. The first 3 chapters describe in detail the magazine's transformations between 1912- 1950, its further existence is described more briefly in the final chapter. The resource material consisting primarily of the published issues of the magazine served as the basis for historical analysis. The text also puts the history of the magazine into context with the development of puppetry and it includes references to relevant theatrical literature. The magazine was founded by Jindřich Veselý in 1912 in Prague. In the first period of its existence (1912-1913), it helped to integrate the Czech puppetry community and it emphasized the values of genuine Czech puppet theatre. After 1917, Puppeteer (Loutkář) continued to publish both theoretical and practical articles. In 1940, it was replaced by Puppet Theatre (Loutková scéna). But Puppet Theatre was soon cancelled as well and so the only periodical focused on puppetry published during war was a simple cyclostyled bulletin. After the war, the renewed Puppet Theatre had to adapt to the new...

Marketing of Breast milk Substitutes Recommendation and Practices
Dočkalová, Jitka ; Schneidrová, Dagmar (advisor)
The topic of my thesis Marketing infant formula - recommendations reality I chose based on their own experience with motherhood, breastfeeding and marketing of infant formula. Personally, I must say that despite all the medical education, I initially had a problem with breastfeeding. I never thought, how much patience and effort will have to make in a situation that is so natural and seemingly simple. I have not the slightest doubt that women who are less educated and less motivated, are an easy target marketing infant nutrition. In the hospital is no exception that newborns have dokrmují in the first days of life and not medically indicated situations. In counseling pediatricians and pharmacies are freely available leaflets that promote substitute for breast milk. For women, this can mean that substitute for breast Milk is something normal for a child just as valuable as breastfeeding. at doubt whether infants breast milk enough, it is very important to support health professionals and other stakeholders. If this support is missing or even doctors offer mothers samples of breast milk substitutes is only a small Step to the mother chooses not to breastfeed. In this work I would like to point out the fact that breastfeeding in our society is increasingly replaced by substitutes feeding breast milk, even in...

Rusek, Martin ; Beneš, Pavel (referee) ; Pumpr, Václav (advisor)
TITLE: Model of creating motivational items for use in non-chemical vocational schools SUMMARY: Presently, there have been significant reforms in the field of education in progress in the Czech Republic. Among others, formerly valid educational standards are being replaced by new standards - Framework Educational Programmes. They have also become effective for secondary schools since 1st September 2009. One of the changes is an addition of science based subjects (thus also chemistry) to all the framework educational programmes for every field of study in vocational schools. Hence, the number of pupils who will be taught science has grown comparing to the previous years. As it was confirmed by an inquiry made for the purposes of this thesis, the above mentioned group of pupils represents the majority among pupils in secondary schools. It was important to analyze the learning environment at non-chemical vocational schools, in order to support as effective utilization of learning units assigned for this schools as possible. For this purpose, there were several surveys run. Out of the results, it is possible to imply that the learning environments at non-chemical vocational schools and grammar schools are very different. Therefore it is important to perform the chemistry based education at non-chemical...

The image of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Grand Duchy of Moscow in Early modern news service of Czech nobility (1450-1618)
PRAŽÁKOVÁ, Kateřina
The thesis concentrates on the image of Mid Eastern European countries which was presented in the first newspapers. The focus was laid on handwritten newspapers (form of newssheets) that originated in the middle of the 15th century. Soon they became an influential intelligence and communicative medium. They were read on the courts of monarchs and high nobility. Since the middle of the 16th century they were also subscribed by town councils and church institutions like convents or bishoprics. The news spread further to other social groups by means of correspondence and rumor. The decline of handwritten newssheets did not begin until the second half of the 17th century. Handwritten and printed news service coexisted until then. While printed newspapers and pamphlets mainly described and commented on extraordinary stories, handwritten newssheets regularly brought reports about the events that happened in the last weeks. The author made thorough research of three collections of handwritten newssheets gathered by members of high nobility. Another common sign is the concentration of newssheets in the second half of the 16th century. They are the collections of Lords of Rosenberg, of Hradec and Lobkowicz. Especially after the House of Rosenberg more then 1 000 newssheets and other news service materials have been preserved whereas many of them are really unique. While exploring these documents, the author posed a question about which of the events that happened in the Kingdom of Poland, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania or in the Grand Duchy of Moscow drew the attention of the intelligencer. The author examined the spirit of this news and the information about the rulers, aristocrats, townspeople as well as common people from the eastern Europe they offered to the readers. Under the influence of the methodological directions inquiring into the perceiving of otherness by meeting different cultures she described the changes in viewing the Eastern European countries from the end of the 15th to the beginning of the 17th century. Thus she traced the origin of some stereotypical opinions that persisted through centuries. In addition, she dealt with the question how the subscribers of the newspapers reacted to the submitted reports. The aim of the thesis was the description of the image of the Kingdom of Poland, Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Grand Duchy of Moscow as well as an insight in the reception and interpretation of news on the aristocratic court in the early modern period.

Pradl, Richard ; Chytra, Ivan (advisor) ; Málek, Jiří (referee) ; Šrámek, Vladimír (referee)
Esophageal Doppler was confirmed as a useful non-invasive tool for management of fluid replacement in elective surgery. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of early optimization of intravascular volume using esophageal Doppler on blood lactate levels and organ dysfunction development in comparison with standard hemodynamic management in multiple-trauma patients. This was a randomized controlled trial. Multiple-trauma patients with blood loss of more than 2,000 ml admitted to the intensive care unit (1CU) were randomly assigned to the protocol group with esophageal Doppler monitoring and to the control group. Fluid resuscitation in the Doppler group was guided for the first 12 hours of ICU stay according to the protocol based on data obtained by esophageal Doppler, whereas control patients were managed conventionally. Blood lactate levels and organ dysfunction during ICU stay were evaluated. Eighty patients were randomly assigned to Doppler and 82 patients to control treatment. The Doppler group received more intravenous colloid during the first 12 hours of ICU stay (1,667±426 ml versus 682±322 ml; p < 0,0001), and blood lactate levels in the Doppler group were lower after 12 and 24 hours of treatment than in the control group (2,92±0,54 mmol/1 versus 3,23±0,54 mmol/1 [p = 0,0003] and 1,99±0,44...

Thesis title: Affection of an Adult Female Patient with Cerebral Palsy using Elements of Comprehensive Rehabilitation Thesis aim: By intensive therapy to achieve subjectively significant improvement of the psychological handicap and sensory-motor skills of an adult female client suffering from cerebral palsy. Method: The theoretical part deals with the issue ofcerebral palsy in general. The practical part ofthe thesis is conceived as a long-term casuistry of one single adult patient (27) suffering from cerebral palsy. We have been monitoring the effect of intensive therapy using elements of comprehensive rehabilitation to affect initial condition ofthe client. The research took six months. The patient was undergoing for the first four months twice a week an intensive five-hour therapy. For the last two months she was undergoing once a week a three-hour therapy. She was specially trained in home exercising during the first few therapy sessions. We have evaluated the effect of the therapy based on results of the examination procedures (examination of shortened museles and magnitude of force of museles tending to weaken, examination of standing position, walk and balance), with the help of health questionnaire EQ-5D and our one's own questionnaire. Results: Al/Jour hypotheses were confirmed. The...

The care of the physiological newborn in the first weeks after the hospital discharge
FAJMONOVÁ, Stanislava
The bachelor´s work of the title ?The care of the physiological newborn in the first weeks after the hospital discharge?, i of a quality research nature. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the physiological newborn and the home care essentials are characterized. This work also deals with the preventive care of the newborn. The work further presents single stages of a child development from birth up to the age of one year. In the practitcal research focuses on finding out the level and availability of the community care for newborn babies, how mothers are informed about the home care and the level of satisfaction with different subjects providing care to newborn babies after the hospital discharge. The aim of the work was to anter the question about the level of the nursing care of a newborn baby and communication with parents from the side of medical staff within periods from the maternity hospital discharge to the age of six keks from the parents point of view. To process these problems and to find out the above mentioned aim, it was chosen a quality research investigation by means of a non-standardized interview with eight women. On the basis of the results werw answered these research questions. Are midwives and paediatric nurses in the community able to fill in the imaginations of parents concerning the care of their child while having a corresponding level of professional training? What are mothers priorities while communicating with the medical staff? Do midwives of paediatric nurses visit newborn babies in their home background? Are, according to the parents, a midwife ´s interventions in the care of a newborn baby qualified? The results and knowledge of this bachelor´s work may serve all workers in the community care as a valuable source of information about the wishes and feelings of mothers at the present time on one side, and about the professional level of the care on the other side. A part of the work is the Ten Commandments for workers in the community care of mother and a newborn baby.
