Financial analysis of Nestlé Česko Corporation, Inc

The aim of the bachelor thesis named "Financial analysis of Nestlé Česko Corporation, Inc" was to evaluate property, pension and financial situation of the company. The work is divided into three parts -- methodical, practical and conclusion. Methodical part aims generally at absolute, differential and ratio indicators. The point of practical part is application of theoretically obtained knowledge about factual corporation which was analyzed between years 2007 and 2009. The analyzed corporation is introduced in the beginning of the practical part. There is also conducted analysis of balance sheet of corporation along with familiarization with the rival corporation. The rest of the practical part is dedicated to the indicators of profitability, liquidity, activity, cost and also to the bankruptcy and creditworthy models which reveal financial fitness of the corporation. Conclusion of the work is dedicated to the evaluation of property and financial situation and to the whole summarization of facts from analyzed field.

Famous names among women composers

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to women with famous last names. There are represented especially three women: Alma Mahler, Clara Schumann and Fanny Mendelssohn. This work is trying to take a closer look at their lives, marriage and point out that they formed their own music. Because of the different situation that women had in 19th and 20th century, they often felt societal obstacles, which kept them from musical development. Despite this fact, they had left a rich legacy and great stories of life.

The Neo-Victorian novel: contemporary trend in British fiction

In 1966 when Jean Rhys wrote Wide Saragasso Sea no one would have guessed that she was starting a new literary movement whose very essence dwelled in re-thinking and rewriting Victorian myths and stories which Sally Shuttleworth named the retro-Victorian novel1. As a matter of fact, John Fowles's The French Lieutenant's Woman published in 1969, brought to public attention the parody of Victorian social, sexual and literary conventions2 but it was really in the 1980's and 1990's that many British novelists rekindled the great Victorian tradition.3 Retro- or neo-Victorian novels take up themes, motives, characters - which are either factual, as in Peter Ackroyd's Last Testament of Oscar Wilde, or fictitious, as in George McDonald Fraser's Flashman series. Neo-Victorian novels imitate texts from the Victorian era and in most cases they follow the Victorian narratives structurally, formally and/or thematically.4 These contemporary rewrites of the Victorian texts also seem to imitate the average physical length of Victorian novels in as much as they are often very hefty tomes indeed, something which may be problematic for many readers in the bit/byte generation. Name of thesis Flight equipment and its importance in efficiency categories of paragliding Abstract: The goals The goal of this thesis is to find out appropriate instruments and the dependence of their using on the performance category of pilot. Practical contribution of this thesis will be find out the most frequent usage of the instruments between pilots and how important they are for pilots. Methods The thesis is compiled in the form of quantitative research. For the collection of data we have chosen questionnaries, which were situated in a paragliding web. Results Detected facts represent that with increasing efficiency category, the count of respondents, for who instruments are important, is increased. The next fact represent, that with increasing efficiency category, the count of respondents, who have and use instruments, is increased. Applying of a method of sensomotoric stimulation in athletic training of youth

The important thing from our analyze is, that senzomotoric method is used between athletics youth. The aim of this thesis is to formulate strategic analysis of Mediconet, private health care provider. The place of business is in the capital city of Prague and the second largest town, Brno. According to determinate sector -- healthcare, the company operates in a dynamic environment. This sector is furthermore under a strong pressure of competition. Among the strengths we can find a long tradition, good name of the company and large offer of provided services. On the other hand weakness of the company is based on shortage of medical staff and underestimated management activities. According to these facts the recommendation list will be created at the end of this work.

Silent witnesses - impact of witnessing domestic violence in childhood on future partner relationships

This rigorous work was formed as an expansion of diploma work named Silent witnesses - domestic violence viewed through the eyes of children. The main aim of this work is to highlight the situation of children witnessing violence between their parents and the effects of this negative phenomenon on their development. Within this issue the work is focused on different forms of domestic violence, furthermore it points on the legal questions of this problems and it also outlines the crucial aspects of human development. Devastating impact of witnessing domestic violence is highlighted in the practical part of this work which is focused on group work with children. Particular group sessions and direct quotation of individual children, witnesses of domestic violence, give an evidence of the fact how much the children are endangered by this dismal situation in their family. Negative effects of witnessing domestic violence on human development can be seen in the results of the study which was accomplished among 100 women - victims of domestic violence of which 50% were witnesses of violence between their parents in childhood. Modern means of development of maximum speed

A name of a diploma work: Modem means ofdevelopment ofmaximum speed A student: František Hoffmann A supervisor of a diploma work: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Goals of a diploma work: Observing of changes of chosen quantities depending on each other on supramaximal sprint (a frequency and a length of a step) in a comparison to zero-level sprint of maximum speed (a frequency and a length of a step). A Method of a work: Experimental reaching of over-maximum speed by means of The Speedy System and evaluating of reached facts by a tíme analysis in the service workplace CASRI, keeping balance of the experiment (inner validity) and final evaluating through: a middle value, authoritative divergence, setting of a regress equation ofmaximum and over-maximum sprint and a comparison ofrelation ofzero-levels and dependent quantities ofsingle sprints, an equilibration ofthe ABBA experiment. Results: In the experiment was noticed a change of zero level in the comparison to independent quantities about 7,5 % in increasing of maximum speed up to over-maximum speed of all sprints. As regards the comparison of zero level to dependent quantities there was noticed increasing or decreasing of the step frequency about 1,6 % in dependence on shortening or extension of a step length, witch proportion on supramaximal speed 6%....

The homeless: a peculiar component of the life of the society

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of homelessness in the Czech Republic, with its nature and extent, as well as with its connections to the life of the society. The aim of this work is an analysis of the problem from different points of view, a description of less known facts, and proposals of possible ways how to deal with this phenomenon. The text is opened by a brief introduction to the subject. It contains a general portrayal of the problem and a short historic overview. It is followed by a section, where different definitions of homelessness are presented, including an example from the praxis. The possible forms of homelessness are named here, mentioned its extent in the Czech Republic and Prague and general demographic characteristics of the homeless population. At the end of the section the text introduces the terms social exclusion and culture of poverty.

The problems of the technical and tactical skills in a training of young football players

Name of the task: The problems of the technic and tactics skills in a training of young football player Object of this task: My aim in this work is to describe problems in a training football players at the age of 10 - 12 regarding technic and tactics skills in foreign football school and to compare its approaches with the football school in Czech Republic. I decide to use qualitative method for this research. In the conclusive part I deduce the results of the trainig process based on the developed facts and I propose the alternation to contemporary approach in the conception of the training young football players. Method: It is qualitative research which used datas collecting information from a special and professional literature, specialized and experts Czech and foreign books, scientific magazines which are avalaible in the UK FTVS Library and the databases like Medline, ERIC a Sport Diskus and public accessible internet documents. Findings: The description of the training technic and tactics skills (mainlypractices and improvement).
