Calculation of Fatigue Crack Lengths from CMOD Measurement Performed on Concrete 3PB Specimens
Holušová, Táňa ; Seitl, Stanislav
The fatigue of cement based composites is now one of the progressive branches in research. To describe fatigue crack growth quantitatively it is necessary to know the values of materials parameters for Paris-Erdogan law. In cement based composites it is difficult to measure crack lengths directly. Therefore the crack mouth opening displacement (CMOD) is measured and then recalculated to crack lengths. The aim of the present article is to find the relation between CMOD and the corresponding crack length for three point bend (3PB) specimen by using cohesive model that is implemented in ATENA software

Adviser: Doc. MUDr. Miloš Vojtěchovský, CSc. Opponent: Doc. MUDr. Jiří Horáček, PhD Abstract: The renaissance of hallucinogen research and use that has emerged in last two decades, introduces several challenges for the field of social work. Above all, these challenges are concerned with use of hallucinogens among laymen, for therapeutic, educational, autognostic, and heuristic purposes. The other challenge for social work is the conception, construction, and the influencing of drug policies, including programs of social prevention. Last but not least, there is the challenge of understanding and reflecting upon mental health fields' history and history of drug use in general. Hence, the goal of this paper is to provide necessary information, which will aid social workers in orienting themselves and competently handling the challenges mentioned above. This work valuates the problems related to hallucinogens from the perspective of social work. The theoretical portion, based on rigorous analysis of available literature in both - Czech and...

Vopálka, D. ; Drtinová, B. ; Motl, A. ; Šebera, Jakub ; Štamberg, K. ; Vetešník, A. ; Višňák, J. ; Zavadilová, A.
The report of the last period of the project presents a development of three topics, each of which relates to the study of the radionuclide migration in fields near to disposal of nuclear waste and other nuclear facilities. The local structure and thermodynamic stability of uranyl sulfate complexes in aqueous solution was investigated by DFT theory. Interpretation of UV-VIS absorption spectra of uranyl-sulfate and -aqua complexes in aqueous solution was performed within the time-dependent DFT calculations. The structures were optimized in the aqueous phase at the B3LYP level by using model COSMO. The calculated geometries of aqua-sulfate complexes corresponded to the experimental data. DFT method described qualitatively thermodynamic stability of complexes in solution. TD-DFT method correctly interpreted only a part of absorption spectra (190-340 nm). In order to interpret the area around 420 nm it will be necessary to use the two-component relativistic TD-DFT.

Diagnostic of musical appreciation of primary school's pupils. Comparison of auditory and audio-visual versions of the tests
Vachudová, Eva ; Váňová, Hana (advisor) ; Jenčková, Eva (referee) ; Slavíková, Marie (referee)
The thesis deals with the possibilities of the measurement of the musical abilities and skills of the pupils through the collective tests of musicality. The test was prepared in two version. The first was "classical" - only auditive, but the second version was "experimental", it use the visualization in all subtests. Following a concise overview of the several tests of the musicality for last 100 years, the author defines the fundamental terms as musicality, musical abilities and skills, test, visualization. Following this introduction, she concentrates on the methodology of the construct of the tests for pupils of 1st , 4th and 6th classes of the primary school. The most extensive section of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation, description and interpretation of results of both versions of tests in several classes with use of many tables and graphs. This research verified most of hypothesis and confirmed the needfulness of the utilization of visualization not only for the testing procedure, but also for the teaching of music education in school. The interconnection of visual and acoustic perception helps pupils to understand subject matter faster and easier and also concretizes abstract musical concepts, what is necessary in case of younger age above all. 1 1 1 1 1 1

Design Against Brittle of Elastic-Plastic Fracture of Nuclear Waste Container
Pluvinage, G. ; Lenkey, G. B. ; Dlouhý, Ivo
Design against brittle or elastic plastic fracture of nuclear waste container is discussed based on three different concepts:(i)reserve of ductility defined by means of reference temperature,(ii)deterministic design using linear or elasto-plastic fracture mechanics associated with reserve factors, and (iii)probabilistic design associated with RCC-MR failure assessment diagram. Cast ferritic steel predetermined for containers of spent nuclear fuel has been used in experimental part of the study.Fracture toughness characteristics necessary for considerations have been obtained by standard 1T three point bend specimens tested statically at different temperatures.Pre-cracked Charpy type specimen has been also employed for the investigations tested statically and dynamically.Material properties necessary for the concept presented are corresponding Master Curve and Weibull distribution of fracture toughness.Special attention has been paid to dynamic loading.Large scatter in reserve factor was found depending on the selected failure assessment method for fracture toughness characteristics changing the value from 1.44 to 4.55.

Estimate of Capital Services in the Czech Republic
Hudrlíková, Lenka ; Fischer, Jakub (advisor) ; Ondruš, Vítězslav (referee)
This diploma paper discusses the importance of implementation of capital into the system national accounts. The purpose of this work is an estimation of capital services for real data of the Czech Republic. Conducted its own calculation is first such comprehensive estimate of the capital services, which was made. The diploma paper is divided into three parts. In the first part there is a explaination of concept of capital services and the methods of estimation and possible ways of calculating the necessary data. In the second part there is already done my own calculations of estimate of capital services used the methodology recommended by the OECD, but subject to certain adjustments, which are better suited to national conditions. Due to the volume of data all the calculations are listed in the Annex. In the text work is illustrative example of one sector of economic activity and the economy as a whole. The last section deals with experimental estimates of impact of capital services on macroeconomic aggregates, particularly gross domestic product. Other possibilities obtained an estimate of capital services, it is possible to estimate multi-factor productivity. Capital services can be used to express the input of capital.

Control Techniques of Grid Connected PWM Rectifiers under Unbalanced Input Voltage Conditions
Bejvl, Martin ; Šimek, Petr ; Škramlík, Jiří ; Valouch, Viktor
Current-controlled voltage source converters are widely used in grid-connected applications, for example at ac drives with indirect frequency converters. The structure and parameters of the PLL are developed and proposed in order to cope with the grid containing both the positive and the negative sequence component, and minimize the wrong frequency transients during phase angle steps and also in the start-up stage. The DSC technique was realised. There is also necessary to compensate the negative sequence component in the grid voltage. The negative sequence component of the grid voltage causes ripple of the dc voltage in the intermediate circuit. Several sophisticated topologies of converter current controller were developed, simulated and tested for this purpose. Results of simulation and experimental tests are provided to evaluate different current control schemes and phase locked loop techniques.

Šubrt, Ondřej ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Matuška, Miroslav (referee)
The purpose of this paper is to describe the features and functionality of LISP protocol (Locator / ID Separation Protocol), its possible use in the network infrastructure and description of the requirements necessary for its successful implementation. Part of this thesis is also the setting of modules to support the network protocol on FreeBSD and then connecting the station to the experimental network, operated by Cisco Systems. The reachability of the test station in the experimental network is verified by station within the network and by server from the internet. LISP implementation on FreeBSD is called OpenLISP and has fully integrated support for encapsulation and decapsulation of datagrams. It also includes the implementation of the mapping cache and mapping database. For connection to Map Server is used OpenLISP Control Plane implementation by Guruprasad K. Rao and LIP6. The paper is based on the draft implementation of this protocol and its individual parts placed on the website of the Internet Engineering Task Force organization. The functionality of the protocol, described in this paper, is valid by March 2012.

Koudela, M. ; Novotný, Čeněk ; Nedorost, L. ; Kocourek, F. ; Svozilová, L. ; Brožová, L. ; Doležalová, J. ; Kubíček, M.
The presented methodology summarizes the results of field experiments documenting that the selected factors influenced the development of important diseases, namely: 1. Alternaria blight cruciferous of head cabbage (in the years 2012-2013) (caused by Alternaria brassicicola) 2. Alternaria leaf spot of carrot (in the years 2012-2013) (caused by Alternaria dauci), and 3. Blight of onion and onion neck rot (in the years 2013-2014) (caused by Peronospora destructor and Botrytis aclada, respectively). The evaluated factors were: variety, crop density (carrot and onion, only), year and location. It is necessary to take into account the earliness of evaluated cultivars that also represents an important aspect of variety resistance to pathogens. In the annex, there are diagrams showing the course of air temperature and air humidity as well as the length of moistening period of leaves at both experimental locations in Troja and Svijansky Újezd in the individual years. Changes of these variables significantly influenced, in interaction with the other factors, the development of phytopathogenic fungi on the infected plants in the individual years.
